My mum actually worked in the same surgery as him, and she said this case always just shocks her because of being there at the time! She loved your video and so did I. You always do justice to the victims which I admire and respect so much 💛
I hate that this man is one of the most well-known people that come from my hometown. I went to the same college that he did - not at the same time, many years later - and it still freaks me out that I walked around the same building that he did. Especially since it’s a listed building and isn’t allowed to be decorated or changed in any way, so it’s still exactly the same as when this guy was there. Makes my skin crawl. (The High Pavement ‘grammar school’ is no longer a school; it’s a college for mostly 16-18 year olds, after they leave secondary school.)
Angie Marie - True Crime Lol I was about to just comment something similar. I’m like “ok I’m up way too early again, I’ll find something productive to do”.....then I see Savannah and I’m like “meh, the family can fend for themselves if they wake up anytime soon, time for more coffee.”
My Sister in Law lived in Hyde and was a patient of Shipman's for years. She was in denial for a long time after his arrest as she simply couldn't believe it. X
hi. im obsessed with you, savannah. im definitely not sleeping tonight knowing the most prolific serial killers in the world was from my home town!! it’s so frustrating that so many families and victims never got the justice they deserve ❤️
Interesting to me about his mother putting him ,” above “ others. The same situation is said about Jim Jones. So it seems humans who have a hard or abusive young life can be scarred mentally but so can those who are made to feel they are better than everyone. Psychology is so interesting to me. It’s never an absolute though , so many overcome horrible home lives to be amazing people. It’s all fascinating. I have one son who is almost 18. I’m so proud of the wonderful young man he’s become but I still question if I’ve done enough or made the right decisions in his upbringing. I guess most all parents feel this way. Lord help us all. Thanks Savannah , I love your channel.
I actually wrote an essay for my psychology class last semester on the argument of nature vs nurture with serial killers. Doing my research it was really interesting how some of the most well known ones have come from broken/abusive homes as well as stable/loving ones
Like how would anyone know what they died of w/out doing an autopsy? How were all these deaths listed as natural causes? And how did they know all their Drs? Normally when u die they dont bring their regular physicians into it, maybe the UK does it diff than 🇺🇸. Just seemed weird from the get go. Like after atleast 3 of these deaths you would think there would be more suspicion, esp if hes in their will. Tho I guess that wasn’t the case with anyone but the last one? He was just doing it b/c he could? 🤦🏼♀️ Dang. Theres more things u can do to be in control rather than taking your patients lives? I think it is worse b/c These people trusted him, most following him when he started his own practice. Just like a coward to end his life in there, too bad he didnt have Morphine to OD with.
When I was about 10 loads of media flooded my street and had no idea why. Turns out the lady 3 doors down was Harold's daughter and when he died the media swamped her. I had no idea till years later so I'm obsessed with videos about him since 😂
Savannah, i have watched you for sooo long and i just realized i don’t follow you on insta and then i realized its cause you never mention it in your video and it just made me like you so much more cause you’re not in it for the clout. Love all your vida
Something similar to this actually happend in hospitals near me in Germany. His name is Niels Högel and he was a nurse who gave his patients medicine, so they would have cardiac arrests. He wanted to "save" their lives but didn't succeed many times. That way he killed at least 97 of his patients but they don't really know the real number or how many he did manage to save. It also took years for him to get caught.
He was my doctor while i was a kid, all the way till his arrest. Even came to my parents house (I was born at home), and I still have the picture of him holding me on my birth day. I kind of remember all this happening, one of the victims was my childhood friends grandma, I was at there house when the media was round to interview the family. My parents had been patients of Dr Shipmanns from when he first came to Hyde. I still cannot believe this happened in my home town. Terrifying.
Thanks 4 another fantastic video I'm from England and when this case broke it was massive thanks 4 covering it stay safe ❤️ and I'll see u next time you post 😉 x
You really do make the best videos, you speak with such dignity for the victims and yet educate us so deeply. You are a beautiful person inside and out thank you for your continued hard work you are incredible 🧡
Hey Savannah! I love your videos so much and you do such a great job of getting every detail in the videos and all the info! I think a great case for you to look into is the Asha Degree disappearance. It’s an unsolved case and is very interesting!
Love your channel. This case is so interesting to me as I live in Ashton (next to Hyde) & my great gran worked for him. Oddly she liked him and didn’t think he was horrible or strange.
My favorite animals are elephants. Because they look at us like we are cute and they trust us like we trust other humans. They are very lovey and amazing creatures. By the way, I agree that calling them names such as “Dr. Death or Angel of Death basically glorified their crimes and gives them unneeded attention. I love your videos and enjoy watching you! ❤️
i was about to clean and i was gonna rewatch one of your vids because i love them💕 and i’ve seen all of them haha and i saw you posted and i was so happy🥺
Can you cover Amina Said and Sarah Said two young girls who were killed by their dad in a honor killing in Irving Texas. He was just apprehended 12 years after the murders. Interesting case. Another interesting case was the ice cream shop murders. 4 young girls killed in a ice cream shop in Austin Tex . Never solved
So many serial killers LOVE being given scary names, they love the attention and glamorization. So in general people need to stop it with the cool serial killer names
Christopher duntsch is the dr death in DFW and the surgeon I work for actually helped stop him and they’re making a series about him and my doctor is always being interviewed about it 😲
This is 5 minutes away from my house and i actually am a patient at the doctor facing this doctors. His story always gets talked about round here. He was disgusting and evil!
So he killed the first victim just a few months before I was born! Geez, this guy... he's crazy! Doctors do NOT get to just play God and decide when they've lived long enough. It's sick. His reason? He played God.
This may not be true in this specific case, but I was in school to be a nurse for a while and we were taught that sometimes doctors will purposefully cause or allow morphine overdoses as an assisted suicide type thing. Or, if someone is tired of seeing their family member suffer, they may agree with the doctor to give them more morphine, which can essentially mean causing an overdose. It allows the patient to pass away in a way that seems peaceful. I’ve heard of some healthcare professionals that get fired, arrested, and/or blacklisted for doing this, but there are ten states in the US that allows assisted suicide. Edit: said two states instead of ten. The states that allow it are California, Colorado, DC, Hawaii, Montana, Maine (went into effect Jan 1 2020), New Jersey, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington. Yes, I know DC technically isn’t a state, but I’m calling it one to keep it simple
anyone else binging true crime videos in quarantine?? still????
haha yesss
Alwayssss

You should do a serial killer series in the month of October!!
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Or November since most serial killers are born in November

Eleanor Neale has done. Very detailed video on this case too, she’s from Yorkshire.

me watching the s on her necklace flip up and down while she talks 👁👄👁
Me: “I should get up and do something productive...”
Savannah: “Hey guys, what’s up???”

I love how savannah gets all the needed information and more. We really appreciate it
My Sister in Law lived in Hyde and was a patient of Shipman's for years.
She was in denial for a long time after his arrest as she simply couldn't believe it. X
Savannaah, i was just reading about harold shipman, and you've posted about this.. , my prayers been answered. 😌
I love how you don’t add too much detail to your stories & just get straight to the point
Hope you’re having a good day!! ❤️
Did he write up wills for any other victims beside Kathleen? Maybe money was also a motive?
Yes, he did. Mind you, he would inherit £386K, which is half a million dollars from Kathleen only. There's more to the story.

it’s sad that there’s so many killers to cover 🥺
True, but thankfully there are fewer now than there were in the past.
and the amount of serial killers waltzing around right this second who are undiscovered
@Miss Maddie I'm referring to the Great Crime Decline that most of the Western world has seen since the 1990s.
oh old ppl and technology. will always be their downfall.
