Deuce and she. I saw them that same year. I was hoarse for day's lol. Blue oyster cult and mountain opened up for them. Amazing!

Ace is fuckin great, but he has admitted he plays with soul and sloppy at times, but it works!! Peter Criss has a unique jungle rhythm and jazz filled riffs with he incorporated into Rock and Roll, and my point is Lindsey Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite and underrated and underappreciated guitarist 🎸 ever!!! The man doesn't use a pick for God sake!!! The Who is amazing as well, Keith Moon was fantastic, but different type of drummer than Catman!!! All great and legendary!!! When Paul said a John Bonham Peter would never be, duh 🙄!!!! Peter Criss laughed and yet I am in the same band as you!!! Lol 🤣

Having RUclips and online capabilities, the way that I do now.… I’ve been listening to a lot of kiss, and today I bought me a pin of a red rose, and I thought of Paul.… I really did enjoy this band as a youth and dammit man is an older cat. They still are so much fun to listen to.
Peter was as essential as any of them. That voice. Even as much as I love Eric Carr, there was only one voice in Kiss like Peter’s in Kiss and that’s the man himself. Just listen to Baby Driver and Strange Ways …or even the signature last word in Watchin’ You (ie…”watchin US!”). Smokin vocals …and his drumming was the most real part of Alive1!

Not counting his solo album, Peter Criss only had 11 songs as a lead or featured vocalist on KISS’s studio albums. He was seriously underutilized as a vocalist.
