      Even I don't like most bollywood movies. I have always felt that most molestation ideas come from bollywood movies and actors say very cheap dialogues about transgenders, depict abused women as prostitutes , divorcees as man eaters etc. It's disgusting to watch most bollywood movies and waste money.

If he didn't do something drastic like what he did in that scene his character wouldn't have believable. • @tangerine8912

      Yes agree, that scene shown in the video was not the problem, it was just showing the journey of a character from being a butthurt groom, left at the alter to later becoming more mature and starting to respect Vaidehi. That is what the movie was all about. Completely taken out of context. Even the stalking the he is talking about, he was going there to talk to the girl, not sneakily following her without her knowledge.
      The only problematic scene was molestation of Badri with funny music playing in the background.

      I often agree with everything he says. But the review about badri ki dulhaniya was kinda unfair. He is completely overlooking the fact that Alia was against dowry and didn’t hesitate to run away to follow her dream instead of marrying into a family that wouldnt allow her to work. Yes, Badri did approach her in the bus but respectfully asked her out. Is that not allowed?? How else would people find love if they are not even allowed to flirt with eachother?
      And Badri does learn what he did was wrong and stands against his father later on

    • @dr.pomitaghoshal672
      @dr.pomitaghoshal672 3 года назад +4

      I agree, it feels like jammy misunderstood the movie. The entire theme was how Badri was problematic and misogynist because of his father and society's wrong beliefs, but later realized his mistake and supported Vaidehi's career. If a movie wants to show a person transition from being bad to being good, they have to show him being bad first!

      Showing the reality is not a problem...
      The problem is to portray it as a heroic thing... Gloryfing it... And ... Represent it like yesssss it's okkkkk... Go chase a girl and one day definitely she will slip into your soulder...... .... Show the reality then show whether it is right or not like what we should do what not.... Like pink subh mangal jyada savdhan.. Bala.. Etc....

      What is the use of showing the current state of things if one doesn't offer a solution to the problem. Under all the filmi jazz the problematic behaviour in the scenes get an endorsement from bollywood. A medium that impressionable minds are lapping up turning problem behaviour into normal. Such films are conditioning the audiences minds to accept wrongful acts. Harass a girl = you will eventually get her, Girl said no = Uski na mein haan hai, man gets harassed = ha ha ha men will be men, woman gets harassed = it's the woman's fault, if I love you = you must love be back, the list is endless.

      @@sblesson2 I have seen the movie.
      The actor falls in love with the actress and after being stalked by the hero and him confessing his love for her, she rejects him(which is fair and just)
      But those who have seen the movie know why eventually she was forced to marry him.
      And in the above video we know what follows after that.
      At the end (because it's Bollywood) the heroine falls in love with the hero for obvious reason(by getting stalked by him) the end of the movie that provides her with job after marriage(which again is not something you need permission for)
      Is a situation that is hypothetical if anywhere in this world girls being stalked will ever fall for their stalker. (The stalkers will rather end up in jail)

And when he was faced with rejection, his toxic nature came out. There were many problematic things in the movie. But I felt that the movie overall showed how "seemingly nice and modern guys" just fly under the radar because they are not overtly toxic like their predecessors.
