Black men have moved on to women of other races. Soooo, are black women suppose to just sit back and be alone? No! The best promotion for black women is depicting black women being natural, feminine, happily involved with a non-black man who respects her and loves her, and black women traveling and embracing the beautiful opportunities that lay before her. This commercial is the first step in that direction.
Good day👸🏿🍸
AAAAAAND SHE HAS A FATHER
La Lady Jade why the wouldn’t she ??? 🤨
Jatoya .S you really gotta ask That question 🤦🏽♂️
@@jatoya.s1021 Most of the time, media spreads the narrative that black people come from broken homes (Ex. Single mother; Raised by grandmother; no parents; sometimes a single father).
Jatoya .S Our child out of wedlock/single mother rates are at 80% now and let’s not act like all of the “absent father” complaining doesn’t reflect that.
@Lil Queen most if not all of the black people I been around since birth have mother and father at home, but then again we are from the Caribbean.
Annnddd the mom is natural. Andddd she's wearing golden pearls. Anndddd the parents are attractive. ❤❤❤
Girl! This is great promotion for the natural black woman!!!
@Dupe Ajayi you are going to make me cry of joy 🥺😍👏🏿👏🏿👸🏿
Love seeing a natural mother and daughter together.
And their the same complexion! Halls really wants my money lol
AND the mama is gorgeous with her braids !
I love it. I've noticed that straight wigs and weaves are usually reserved for important occasions like graduations, weddings, etc.. I love that she's wearing her natural hair at her wedding. Love it. Keep these positive promotions coming.
Yes! Last year I saw a popular black woman with natural hair tweet she's wearing straight wig when she gets married. After some backlash she explained that her thick natural hair is unpredictable and with all the dancing and moving around she wanted to ensure her pics were cute. I didn't comment. But I thought, can't she just ger a wig that resembles her hair texture?
And some don't be looking good either. It makes me cringe. If it's going to be done it needs to be done right!
A'Mya Springer
110%
Badly styled or presented hair is unpleasant, including the typical weaves or wigs many black women tend to wear. The straight hair doesn’t make it look any better, if it’s not done well.

@@lamartrade7415 You don't like black women anyways and we are not your women. Your women are non black women only. Be with your own kind of people and leave us alone.

Lol this channel full of miserable black women who can’t get laid so they spend they time hating black men cause they are unattractive
@@King.Esquire888 if that is what you think, then why in the world are you here? Why go where you are supposedly "hated"?

My comment was very extremely mean and untrue. And I do apologize. Alot of you women are very smart, attractive, and good hearts.
I came across this channel in my recommendations and it just generalized black men as if we are subhuman, race betraying people so. But thats not true please don’t manifested in your life that black men do not love you or we don’t have your back. Trust me as a man I agree yes some men are dumb af but there are ALOT of men who worship the ground you walk on
She’s so pretty, why you upload this right before Valentines day😭😭😭❤️❤️

@Mr. Nyce Guy Sit down bitter baby daddy. We know your kind never marries.
I love that fact that she has natural hair. I wish more black brides would get married with natural hairstyles IRL, or at least just naturally textured hair (eg blown out & styled however). It *seems* like many are still choosing a silky weave for their big day. 😩
I definitely plan to be wearing my natural hair at my wedding ❤

FINALLY! Now was that so hard?! This is what we’ve been waiting for. The bride is beautiful, so is the mother, both have natural hair that’s not boy cut, the father was present. I’m very satisfied with this ad. Let’s hope they keep promoting us like that.
I never thought I would have a favourite ad, but this is now my favourite ad.

It is truly awesome! This is worth sharing!

To brown or DS women who're married or engaged:
If you're going to be on TV, in a newspaper or magazine, a team photo at work etc, pls ensure your engagement and / or wedding ring is in shot; preferably in a place that can't easily be cropped out.
Not sure if it's my imagination, but it *seems* that whenever there are pics of non-celeb BW, either their hands are out of shot, or they're very much in the shot but no ring on the wedding ring finger.
If my suspicions are correct then this is obviously part of the drive to push the image of the single, black woman.
Also, for the same reason, the terms "husband," & "fiance," if you're going to be interviewed, are better than "partner," "significant other" etc.
Don't tell them, tell the director of photography and camera people.
@@trudytriad4574
Could you expand on that, pls?
@@anon9362 They are the object of the camera so I can imagine it is not their falt that their body parts are cut out. They are not the directors either. They take direction, So don't aim your criticism at them
Anon This is some food for thought. This has never even crossed my mind. Be aware, be vigilant and be proactive to control what you can. Appreciate this.
It's really not that deep.

I remember seeing this a few weeks ago. such a beautiful commercial. And the bride with her natural hair! So pretty
So this woman hair is more dam important than the destruction of the black race at the hands of our true enemies sorry its not the black man its this bullshit that strengthen white supremacy with black approval that hurts all in our communities black women and black men
@@money2mind267 this channel is not about fighting white supremacy 🤷🏿♀️ sorry.

@Ms Prestige This is a commercail NOT real life!
In real life bw/WM have a very high failure rate. This commercail does not reflect real life ,I'm sorry
@@money2mind267 This commercail is NOT real life. It's fictional. And when the bw who buy this fiction try it in real life they soon see it dosent go this way. Why do you think there re so many single black women? Because they are hoping for a fantasy that simply is not real
Awww I saw this the other day and left a comment 🍦. The bride is gorgeous with a FULL head of natural hair! I love that they didn't make her bald or with a buzz cut 💇🏾♀️. The groom is a cutie too 💕. They even gave her 2 loving parents, just look at the proud mom and dad 😍. Marketing just got everything right with this ad 👍🏾💕. This is the cutest thing, and they make a lovely couple 😍😍😍
Beautiful commercial ❤
She looks lovely! And finally the type of feminine representation we've been looking for!
She’s so beautiful!! 😍🙇🏾♀️
I don't get why the pro-black people are mad. So you guys didn't see the healthy black older couple who are still together? Because that's one of my favourite things about the commercial.
@@moviegirl8648 They would be happy, but ok. This isn't about the man, this is about corrective promotion for black women. And in any case, it would do black women's standing good to be promoted as desirable to all groups of men. That isn't me saying that black women should actually get into interracial relationships by the way. Interracial relationships are not the path to accomplishing any kind of social change and they should also be the least of your worries. They aren't inherently the problem. Their dynamics can be representative of a larger issue though.
@@moviegirl8648 Black men are not being erased. They're in lots of things all the time. More than black women in fact. Almost every show or movie has a token back guy. Good black romantic relationships aren't promoted though, that I was already aware of. In terms of the media representation of black people, overall for both genders its poor.
Yes some women on this channel are bitter and delusional, but I don't believe they are in the majority. And that certainly isn't the goal of this channels creator. Her goal is to uplift and empower dark skinned black women and our image. That's all. She's not just "talking", she's actually working towards it in the little ways that she can.
I learned a while ago that if we want better representation we have to do it ourselves. I'm not waiting for racist white people and their racist white media to grow empathy for me. This is not a pro-black channel. If the depiction of black-love means that much to you then do whatever you have to do to make it happen. But don't come complaining on this channel with the expectation for it to do things it clearly never set out to do in the first place.
She even danced with her father at the end. 🔥♥️
I think those Halls made the father really relieved that his daughter didn't get with a dusty. That man went HuAAAAAAAAAAAHHhhhh
ArtOfTreasury111 Haha😂 Sure did!

People saying this is an agenda are dumb as hell. The reason why their are more commercials and shows with bw/wm is because those types of couples have increased. That's how marketing works they wouldn't be making these types of commercials if there wasn't a market for it. I'm even noticing in DC the big increase in black women dating other races of men...
@@yahschild5200 Ok. So then let's make a new program. Wealth-building black men who love their *black* families stay with them, and build their community. I can't wait for that program to start working.
Chenille Campbell very true
There is and has always been a very specific psychology behind advertisements. Money is the bottom line, but promotion of societal ideas and standards of beauty has been the main vessel of subconscious influence.
It's certainly not dumb to have a healthy level of caution or even skepticism.
loved this thankyou soooo much
I don't get it. Yes, she is beautiful and she comes from a established family, but their child is not going to have that beautiful smooth chocolate skin. A good commercial would be a black couple getting married, showing the union of black love.
Biracial kids can be born with dark skin.
@@defaultone7574 what is the probability of that, and would you really like to take that kind of random chance? Examples please too (if you know any).
It's a good commercial because it shows a black feminine woman getting married and having both her parents in her life. Her spouse could have been a man or woman of any race and it still would be good.
Khayre Bryant-King In your comment you said “But their child is not going to have that beautiful smooth chocolate skin” like you know that for a fact, I was simply stating that the hypothetical child could possibly have dark skin. The real question you are trying to ask is how can a channel that promotes dark skin also promote mixed couples and to that I say it doesn’t matter. Bm can create biracial children that look nothing like them and marry women who are completely different from bw and still love themselves as we can see by how cocky y’all are about how all women apparently “desires bm the most”. So bw can also have biracials kids and still promote and advocate for darkskin women because there will always be darkskin women out there no matter how many biracial children there is. Get it?
@Khayre Bryant-King:
The point is that this advert is positive promotion for DS women, not for black love, or the BC. Therefore, it doesn't matter who she's with as long she is positively promoted & the partner is well-presented too.
Thank God her father isn’t a bitter black

Great job Halls!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾😍😍😍
In my opinion People are caught up way too much on how black women wear their hair. If the black woman is not mixed or anything then she is automatic a natural black woman, the hair doesn’t define her. I know everybody has their opinion but it just annoying that black women can’t enjoy styling themselves different without people always saying their not real or natural unless they wear their real hair.
Yea but we need to see good representation with OUR hair. You know that hair that grows out of our scalp? What we naturally look like. That's more important
And I wear weaves . but I mostly wear it natural. It's good she wearing her hair at a big event because usually bw think we Good a get our hair "done" for big events
Agreed, I’m natural and love natural hair especially seeing be in the media natural but the way that black women are policed when it comes to our hair is ridiculous. We can rock any style in my opinion.
Too attached to hair. I'm not as into hair. I don't even care when I see non-black women wear box braids and corn rolls. Some black women are too attached to hair.
