Anyone threatening bodily harm or dearth to anyone simply because of a difference of opinion should be reported to the highest of authorities ASAP, its enough domestic terrorism (DT) running rampant in our community & its enough missing black girls & women & let's be real most don't care when (dark skin) black females in particular become victims of violence or DT

I never did. Though I would always try and say that dark skinned black women you're beautiful. In real life. I would literally say that often. I never said that to White women or ls women I don't like that. Was you better basically. So after a while you start to feel like well you never were on that level. Of pedal store or anything so why can't you talk about it especially when you talk about things and it's like that never happened in my life.

No the issue is that some people will experienced racism. And then you will say that you experience it. Some people who may look not completely like you may experience something similar and then they may be like what about us too. Because they can relate.

For me I always thought if I keep promoting then maybe you would understand that I'm a friend. And that I'm not a foe banana round 2022 I realized it was just going to be used as a way against me to be told to feel inferior. So that's when I stopped. But yeah I never was trying to be covert I was for real. But attacked by you guys. For just existing. In a different color. And honestly. It's also the other thing why is it that color defines race. Like you create a whole persona off of a dang color. Which is so weird. I mean there's different skin tones. For different people. So there's different hair textures hair lengths for different people. You don't seem to understand that. But you come up with the whole idea of oh somebody cut somebody's hair. Which is a whole assumption in itself.

OG Chrissie followers know this tactic is not new. Chrissie actually was more militant. She softened up within the last few years due to her trying to seperate herself from extremism growing online and reasonably so. But i vividly remembered Chrissie's biggest issue was with mixed race/light skin women trying to remove her DDS platform from Facebook due to the lack of inclusion. Chrissie's message of exclusive promotion was not taken well and she dealt with a lot of harrassment from all sides. I wasn't 100% convinced on exclusive promotion until I witnessed for myself all the tactics Chrissie highlighted in this live. I wouldnt say they are jealous because everyone one knows in the black community they are a beauty standard but they do not want to share the spotlight. Especially with Dark skin women with bantu/west African features. I'm so motivated im going to do Melanin Monday's on my IG to promote Dark skin beauty consistently. We need to push back and be consistent with self promotion. Thank You Chrissie for all you do for us. ❤

One thing that weirds me out is that when they talk about pretty girl problems they list problems and almost every pretty girl problem they say is due to being light skin is something I have dealt with as a dark skin bw. So it's not really a pretty light skin girl problem it is a pretty problem in general. But they want to colonize being beautiful as if it's not something dark skin women are as well.

It's an attempt to reinforce the narrative that dark = unattractive, light = attractive. I've even heard one of them imply that we have cognitive dissonance/identy issues. Can you imagine that? Implying that we're delusional about OUR value because how can we possible like ourselves if they exist in this society with light skin, loose hair and narrow noses?
I think it's also important to note in these conversation the historical nature of modern beauty standards and colonization. In order to justify misappropriation of resources (land, slave labour) wp had to vilify dark skinned people as unintelligent, ugly etc. It's a combination of factors that make one attractive to the eye: balanced facial features, bone structure, condition of skin, styling, grooming etc. and yes, even a human being with bantu features can be attractive in comparison to a person with keen features and light skin. I've seen this phenomenon all the time.

I’m a dark skin black woman who was gaslighted by black men, non black people, mixed women, and even some black women for speaking on colorism. I will not stop speaking on it. Just because I’m in a relationship and men approach me because they find me attractive, doesn’t mean colorism doesn’t exist. It doesn’t negate my past experiences with colorism. I won’t allow them to gaslight me. Also I experienced so much hate from black men, non black women, and mixed women for being an attractive dark skin woman with long healthy natural hair. I also keep up my looks and stay in shape and they HATE that.

I couldn't imagine being a DSBW and supporting those channels. They have got to either have low self esteem, or some level of delusion. I'm glad they are waking up. It took me some time to catch on myself because we're taught to try to get along and accept our place in society. I'm glad I have found spaces like this that have taught me to level up and understand when we're being manipulated and to not fall for it. The fact that the exoticals (psychoticals) have created their toxic spaces in response to spaces like these proves exactly what Chrissie says about them. They always have to center themselves and always try to be one step above DSBW. We aren't having that anymore. They're helping to perpetuate the divide they accuse us of. But lately, it seems as though they are running out of talking points and studying what unambiguous black women are doing in order to come up with more content? So I've found that I have not been watching much anymore.
They seem to need us and what we do to make more content. Whereas we can just make our content out of our lived life experiences. Even heard one use a Chrissie-created phrase in her video lol.

This is super triggering for me because I made the mistake of thinking I could be friends with some of these mixed girls. I grew up in Africa, most of my friends were black girls, I never interacted much with mixed girls until I moved to Europe. I have had 3 bad/colorist experiences with these mixed girls. Once I went for a ladies brunch with 5 other white girls and a mixed girl (American), I was the only black girl - my mixed "friend" decides the brunch is a good time to discuss my relaxed hair and shame me for relaxing it in front of everyone, telling me that she has natural hair and she loves her natural hair - "why can't I love my natural hair"
Another mixed "friend" who was actually from my country (African mom, European dad), was shocked that a dark skin woman from Africa was in Europe living a good life. She was confused as to how I was married to this great guy and in shock that I had a black card when I paid for sushi. We had dinner once and when I told her I was from Johannesburg, she immediately asked if I grew up in a hood over there. She literally said, oh you're from the hood. No babe, I grew up in a beautiful suburb!!!
Another crazy experience was when I went out with a mixed race girl and her Mexican friend and both mocked me for being married to a white man. They laughed straight in my face after saying "she likes white men". These people are crazy! I never bothered any one of them, in fact I made an effort to match with them on bumble BFF.

Ww & mixed women get a lot more variety of representation (especially ww) and will actually have some women promoted that facially looks like what the average one of them looks like, meanwhile dsbw often have promotion of dsbw who are mixed or benefit from featurism/texturism and/or are super models. @@joyandbeauty2024 I honestly think the whole featurism argument is shaky at best. Small features don't equal less black. There are too many monoracial bw with small features to imply otherwise. Just like a hump on the nose for ww will never be a beauty standard for wp despite it being a feature that is frequent in their racial group. I do agree that we need more variety, but we'll get there, it takes time. The variety of representation just started for other groups, and they've had frequent representation for decades. The thing is that every groups beauty standard for a long time has never been the everyday girl, Angelina Jolie and victoria secret models are not your everday WW, Those K-pop Idols are not your everyday asian person. @@LovingWarmth featurism is indeed a real thing just like colorism is. Yea there are bw with what’s considered small aka more white looking features but they’re not the majority. Most AA bw don’t have straight noses or thin lips, we have noses with wider bridges and fuller lips, and tend to have rounded eyes so that’s what I mean by featurism that a often times if a dsbw benefits from featurism she has one or more features that are different looking than the typical AA or west African phenotype. U said a hump on the nose for ww will never be the beauty standard for wp deslite it being a feature frequent in their racial group… I don’t recall seeing many ww with a hump on their nose so idk wym by that. & what exactly were u trying to say that even though wider noses are typical for bw it’ll never be the beauty standard… are u saying that typical blk features are unattractive?
As for variety of representation when it comes to ww they absolutely have a lot more variety than others races especially more than bw. There’s so many basic/average and even below average looking ww that have been promoted as beautiful. Emilia Clarke, Anna Kendrick, Kristen Stewart, Dakota Johnson, Ellen Page (before they transitioned), Rachel Brosnahan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jenifer Aniston, Kirsten Dunst, Emily Blunt, Annie Walker, Famke Janssen, Phoebe Dynevor, Florence Pugh, Natalie Portman, Alicia Silverstone, Billie Eilish, etc. these are all basic looking ww, they’re pretty but still basic nonetheless & some of them are less than average.
Yea there’s ww like Angie Jolie & Scar Jo & Margo Robbie who are more attractive than the average ww but the majority of their representation is filled with ww who don’t look much different than the average ww. Ww don’t have to look like a super model to be seen as beautiful they could look like Kirsten Stewart and be seen as beautiful lol they get to be so basic looking even below average and still be seen as pretty meanwhile dsbw have such a scarcity of representation that those we do get as promotion are often so well above average that it somewhat reinforces the notion that we have to look extremely gorgeous just to be considered beautiful.

They claim that we are self hating, we live vicariously through them and we want them to be our representation. This left me wondering, are we supposed to hate Rihanna? Are we supposed to hate Beyonce?
They clowned us for being happy when that billionaire allegedly praised black women because his wife is light skinned. Were we supposed to cry in the corner when we found out she was light skinned?

The billionaire's wife is not even that light. I'm a similar color as her and I consider our shade to be a light medium brown. And only really in the sunlight. I wish the antiblack biracials would stop claiming everyone in their war to hate on DSBW. It's so annoying. They don't even like black women. Light brown or light medium brown black women are still black women. Why can't they only use other light skinned half black women? I hate these channels so much. The misogynoir is exhausting. Besides, George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, is married to a darker brown black woman. Most billionaires that are with black women are with black women with a darker complexion that are not half black. Black men gave them the pedestal they are on.

While my mother (and most black ppl) can acknowledge beauty in other races, she’s always prioritized her own positive self image as a black woman. A message Chrissie and her channel constantly promote. In doing so, my mother didn’t teach me to share in her identity as a bw, hence garnering a certain level of respect towards bw and their spaces. The “exoticals” obsession with Chrissie and her channel make me think these women feel they haven’t reaped the full benefits, from the communitah, they think they should have gotten for simply being lightskinned.

I hope this is the last video she makes for the exoticals because Chrissie’s femininity and strategy content is practical for any women not just BW.
