Studies say women with degrees increase their chances of marriage. Also having a job online allows black women to travel more. I remember a black woman who worked online and traveled to different countries. She went to Italy and met a handsome Italian man and he married her. Her job and being able to travel exposed her more to different cultures and races of people. She's happy and found a good man and I'm happy for her.

As a person who has completely leveled up I approve this message. A female CEO once told me men will go for promotions when they’re 50% qualified to do the job while women tend to wait until they’re 85% qualified. This keeps us at lower levels and earning less. I never forgot this when I went out for promotions. She was right. I got every one I wanted and a higher salary than what was initially offered. Ask for more money and reach for the higher position. Most likely you’re far more qualified than others around you.

I'm going through a divorce and enrolled in my last semester in school with a 3.5 GPA. With that being said, ladies, life happens. Do not quit on your goals when life gets challenging. Take responsibility for your actions when you make a mistake, forgive yourself, and move forward. You all are beautiful and worthy of all wonderful things in this lifetime, no matter your skin color, how much money you have, or where you come from! I love this video so much! 💝🌷

@@jadaweary4546, I am so sorry to hear this. If your friend wants to effectively move forward from the dusty baby daddy trap 🪤 she can but it will take more time and effort to do so. She will have to first upgrade her mindset. You need to be very careful and consider befriending women who are more focused on leveling up. You may want to consider distancing yourself from your friend. Otherwise, she may pull you down along beside her. This happens. Good luck and God bless you. ❤

Live below your means ladies!!!! If you take nothing else, please do this. My husband and I do very well ourselves now but for most of my 20’s when everyone went on endless brunches and bought be outfits for every trip and event, I proudly re-wore my clothes in new ways and skipped brunch/dinners. Now in our 30’s, some of those folks are in debt trying to keep up this lifestyle for almost two decades. Learn from this, there’s no need to keep up with people on social or those in your friend group.

I’ve been around for 6 decades and have retired from two jobs. I’ve also been fortunate to work with people in the 7 figure area. As you know, you take NOTHiNG w you when you die at an underdetermined time. My point: I’ve watched people, including family members and peers, save and save & invest, and save only to die and leave all their wealth for someone else to enjoy.
Kids brag about their parents leaving them money and no sooner than parents are buried, “many” not all, go on lavish shopping spears buying luxury cars, taking lavish vacations, etc. I’ve worked w people who give their 10 year old grandchildren 5-10k for birthday presents saying “what else am I going to do with my money?”
I’ve also watched men’s wives day and w/in 6 months to a year after the wife’s death, men have younger wives and girlfriends lavishing them w whatever they ask for. Women whose husbands die, I’ve seen them do the same. In my own family I’ve seen the same behavior.
I say”Live life to the fullest and prepare for retirement as you do not know your day of death!”

    - I got a divorce ( best decision I could have ever made)
    - I am child free. Children are the biggest complicator for women especially when the father is absent and does not support
    - I worked and continue to work on me and I allow spirit to signal to me what it is I need to do.
    - I stopped being afraid of being me. I have always been feminine. I just lended in and used it for my benefit. People won’t like it and that’s ok. It has made my life incredibly easier.
    - Speaking of people : Study people. All types. I read about human behavior constantly and it has helped me tremendously.
    - Be willing as Chrissie said to be ok with a hard time for a season. Don’t fight against it. Flow with it. When we flow with life the answer comes.

It's only been recently that I realized how badly I want to achieve being a part of the upper middle class. I want to go to whole foods and the farmers market and buy all the fancy organic produce I want. I want to retire my mother in a beautiful luxury house. I want to have the freedom to go to the symphony and the jazz clubs on the weekends. I want to wear my cute, understated 300 dollar pastel linen dresses without feeling guilty. I know i've listed so many superficial things but I desire this for myself.
I'll be attempting a transfer to chemistry or geology soon.

I'm an INTJ too. Networking is so important. A lot of us want to go to work and just do a great job. That really isn't enough. Robert Greene's Law 18 addresses isolation. People don't want to be around people they don't like --- so promotions and business offers will elude the unknown/unlikeable.

    Another great video!
I, too, took the path of college. Graduated and found a career that I stayed in for 9 years. While there, I took several training courses for leadership while also earning certificates. I also work several side jobs while working there. I left last December bc it was time for a change for me. I had learned all that I could there and I didnt see any other ways to grow. I'm in a resting stage now, but it's all so promising. Excellent video, Chrissie.
Sending blessing to everyone as you continue to level up. ❤

I’ve used a lot of these tips to level up, except for the networking, I’ve always struggled with that! 😂 Still, I’m living a soft life and flourishing in many ways. 😊 I work my dream tech job making 6 figures, am starting to travel the world, have beautiful relationships, and exciting hobbies. I’m also developing into the confident, authentic woman of my dreams. It’s taken years of hard work, but it has been absolutely worth it.

Once again Chrissie you give a mindblowing video full of promising advice. One of the first things I did when I leveled up was move away from the black community. I love my people, but some black folks are simply not good to have in your space. Next, as much as it hurt me I needed to let go of childhood friends that I knew would forever be stuck on the plantation of pain poverty, and struggle love. Finally, I made the choice to do better, and be better, and be very selective about what type of women I befriend, and what type of men I choose to have in my life. In addition to all that I got my money, mind, and body right. Leveling up is a deep process but once you get it done you're good to go.

Great video Chrissie. Such valuable information for black ladies who are trying to reach what some call 'Polite Society' and enjoy the GOOD LIFE. I would also add that although some black women don't mind working for others, I encourage black ladies to start their own businesses and be their own bosses. So many black ladies are traveling and have become digital nomads(the laptop lifestyle) and are finding ways to obtain multiple streams of income to help finance our traveling and becoming permanent expats in the country we wish to call our new home.

One of the biggest things that get in my way regarding my level up journey is I procrastinate to avoid change. I have done this every time I am expected to transition to the next level. I have my "little" license and have been approved to take the test for my "big" license and refuse to study. My C.V. in my field is very diverse and would definitely land me a better paying job but I keep telling myself the reason I haven't applied anywhere else is because I am in the last year of getting the remainder of my student loans paid off (which is true). I need to read more books on complacency and procrastination. I am allowing others to make decisions for me when I wait until I am forced to make a move. I keep hoping for a mentor because I am definitely needing some support.
