i have four of the 300 watt veson for camping and other misc. about three years ago i bought three of them and did some tests. i found that with the best sun, the best angle, and the best temps using my mppt controller, not that one that comes with it, i could get a max of 225watts. its still worth it. as a test, i also rewired one of them so instead of 20ocv x 17amp, it was 80ocv x 4.25. since i was usng 100foot solar rated 10 awg wire, since i was using good wire it didnt matter much maybe gained about 5%, but i really dont remember. oh and i left one in my back yard as a test, i wasnt even using it, it was just laying flat not plugged in and its performance dropped significantly, i think one of the found panels failed completly on top of other degradation. despite not outputing their claimed spec, its still kinda worth it if you only use them for emergencies imo. all these non glass panels just dont last, hopefully that will change one day
thinking of one cheap panel close to 100 real watts/// looking for the 160w one for my delta 2 to have spare when car is turned off... . . will it last ? or make a rigid 3x 50 watts aluminium my self.. cost is the same and goes to 30 volts . a bit heavier but bulletproof!!!
Lol Yeah it'd be nice....hell, i'd like a news media that simply reports facts accurately, law enforcement departments that obeyed the law, academic institutions that teach facts as facts & not theories as facts and a government that told the tru.....naaa, that one is pure fantasy...never happen in a milliin years 😉
These are the batteries: amzn.to/3NwtK4a Typically just tv, DVD player, Nintendo Switch, battery chargers for Ego and dewalt, propane heater (requires 12v), fridge (but in propane mode only, still requires 12v)
Jeah these Dokio Panels are the last shit on earth. My 100W had never more than 50W output. Throwed it in the bin. My new Ecoflow 160w did 135w on flat ground in the first run.... So Dokio sucks...
I have these two but haven't done one since. I'll put it on the to-do list. But I love em. ruclips.net/video/7Qq6vBslxFY/видео.html ruclips.net/video/631CadeuNUE/видео.html
Tanks for great review. Did it really get that faded after just about three weeks in sun? And does it seem it could effekt the material in to a failure if it were used for example four four or eight weeks a year?
I think it's possible that it could really dry the material out and cause it become brittle. I think it also depends on location. Our AZ sun is pretty tough on things.
@@ICanDoItMyself Mine is almost useless and falling apart. It is seldom used and is less than 2 years old. the power output is very lame. I have also a Dokio 100 watts too, and it does better keeping my 120 AGM topped. The seller sent me another 100 watts as a consolation deal for my disappointment. The 100s are actually better performers. I understand that I should not expect too much, but the 200W is really a complete failure for me.
I've seen other test reviews. They all do the same thing. On the other reviews the Dokio's were used every day. In 8 months or less, they were trash. Falling apart and almost inoperable. Dokio sent new ones, and in less than 8 months, the new ones did the same thing. I'm looking for foldable to fit in my windshield. Might have to get less wattage to get them to fit. Might go with Accopower,
14.1V seem too low. What is the voltage/amps when solar panel is connected to MPPT controller with short cable? I am guessing that low voltage could be because of 100 foot cable.
@@ICanDoItMyself you should be able to get double power than in this video with long cable. For that panel I would expect to get at least 150W in good conditions.
If panels are only used for 1 week a year....it's a 3 week review lol
The rated power is if you're on the equator in the middle of the day with the sun directly above and the panels flat on the ground.
not necessarily, perfect angle and good temps help. i have some rich solar panels that often output 105% and i live closer to canada than mexico

Thanks for the review 👍👍

Informative video, thanks for your time.
I would like a brand that simply divulges the truth about the power of its panels.

Do you have a video or a report on the renogy also? Dont see one in your videos. Would be nice to know for comparison to the dokio how they perform.
I have these two but haven't done one since. I'll put it on the to-do list. But I love em.

The 100ft cable is the only way I connect them so I'm not sure what it would be with a shorter one.

Take a shot everytime he says as u can see
Cant really give a review on a week a year ffs
It’s a 3 week review! Not a 3 year review! Some click bait going on here 👎🏻
Where you at man
I live in Phoenix, AZ, but camping in this video in Forest Lakes, AZ.
do you recommend dokio?
I do. For my setup, they work great. And they are super portable.
@@ICanDoItMyself I believe they have improved a bit, but I would not recommend the 200. I like the 100s better.
