Nice job coating your GX4. I just ordered the GX4 in OD green without the optic cut. For $365 total it’s a no brainer compared to the Glock or Sig equivalent (x macro?). I own an Sig XL Specte Comp and I’m betting the Taurus shoots just as well. If it does I will sell the Sig and pocket a chunk of change. May daily is changing to an M&P shield plus. Literally why I’m keeping an eye and possibly purchasing. The idea of a Glock chassis system with an aftermarket as big as the 320 is the dream. But it’s gotta be reliable. As long as teething issues are just early production problems and not flawed design, I feel like magpul putting their name on a ruger product might get the aftermarket to pay more attention to this gun. If this was just a ruger Glock clone with a ruger made grip, it would be dead in the water. Mother of god, magpul needs to make a fdc/fdp 9 for this.

Yeah, it's a bad design. It should be made of metal. I had to help my brother-in-law. He broke one in his Corrola. A mechanic changed the oil in my 2011 Camry And the next time when I was doing it myself, it took me a long time. That nonsense was super tied.

Maybe consider pop rivets to attach the handles and snaps. No need to cut off excess screws

I have had an RDB for a long time. After putting a couple thousand rounds through it without issue, I was receiving double fires and slam fires. It wasn't due to the hammer though. The hole on the bolt face where the firing pin goes through was becoming flared like the mouth of a volcano and setting off the primers when chambering a round. The firing pin was free floating and I believe that it was potentially part or all of the cause of the bolt damage. And that the materials are lower quality. They fixed it and sent it back and upon inspection, the bolt, not that this means anything necessarily, looked cheaper and the tip of the firing pin had an indent. I contacted them about it and they said it was "within spec". I started having the exact same issues again after a few hundred rounds and the hole on the bolt face was flared yet again and the firing pin had been sheared into three pieces. I sent it back and they replaced everything again but this time have updated it with a spring loaded firing pin instead of free floating. Haven't even put a hundred rounds through it since then so we will see but keltec definitely uses lower quality components and has lower qc. Very comfortable gun and honestly one of my favorites to hold and shoot but I definitely wouldn't trust it, hunt with it or put my life on the line with it.

I just don't agree. I also had the older 16" model. The chain tightening mechanism is all plastic and it broke on mine. Once it breaks, the whole saw is garbage. You might not like the 18" but at least it lasts. Personally, I have had no problems with mine and I have cut more wood with it than l did with my old, junky 16"

Great video, my first pistol was a TX22..in 2019, I loved that Taurus but I no longer needed a 22lr so I traded it. I currently have 4 Sigs, 2 Beretta's. My latest Sig was P365XL, the rest of my pistols are hammer fired. I'm always thinking about how much I liked the grip on the Taurus TX22, I may have to get a GX4 Carry

I own 5 Kel tec products,including the rdb. I absolutely love them and enjoy them! Yes, they are definitely made cheaper, but for fun and at the range, its unbeatable! Its very reasonably priced, and the innovation of the pews is none to par! It sucks you are having problems with your rdb, but why not shoot it after they fixed it! You are doing yourself a disservice, and missing out on a lot of fun.

yep, happened to me. Gears absolutely grinded down, put it metal ones….. same thing happened, but nothing a little steering trim can do!

I was just wondering whatever transpired with the rifle ? ... GTG... sent back to Ruger... aftermarket parts and GTG ..... or junk and sold it ? 🤷‍♂️
