that is a great idea. I made videos on changing run-flats for regular tires on my car and how much my ride quality improved. I don’t have a spare though, still debating whether I am keeping this car pass the lease end
Your videos are very helpful in terms of practicality & dynamic driving on actual road. As you have already tested several 2023 Lexus RX 350 models. How would you compare 2.4 L inline 4 turbo RX 350 with 3.5 L V6 Lexus ES 350 engine, especially MPG & driving dynamic…
Thanks a lot for your feedback. That is my goal is to deliver real world driving reviews and provide information about driving experience. As for the Lexus I can only speak about what I drove so far. I really liked new 2.4T with automatic transmission in RX 350. It felt very smooth, alive and playful. Also it all feels this way due to new chassis that Lexus improved so much. Like if you drive older RX350 and the new one - it is absolutely day and night. New one is way more refined, has better body control and more responsive. I have yet to try new ES 350, not sure how much chassis work has been done there and if they made new V6 engine more responsive. My dad has previous Gen ES350 and it's not a fun car, just good quality, premium sedan to spend good time cursing along. As for the fuel economy I don't find Lexus particular fuel efficient whether it's 6 cylinder or 2.4T. They should at least introduce mild hybrid option. My 2023 BMW X3 M40i with 6 cylinder engine has same fuel efficiency as their NX350 which is 4 cylinder engine. As per me Lexus Hybrid makes more sense like RX350h or NX350h, but driving experience is slightly compromised.
@@100miledrive Thanks and appreciate your response. Peoples have maintained NA V6, V8 engine vehicles over decades but not sure about the reliability & longevity of turbo charged engines. Turbo engines do require quite regulated drive & continuous maintenance. Hope to see more videos & good luck for your channel.
@@DA75907 As for the Turbo engines VW has long history with reliability including their commercial Vans which can run few hundred thousands miles without major repairs. Since Lexus is #1 Brand in terms of reliability, I would imagine their engines should last long, but yes it's still kind of early to see reliability figures from Lexus on Turbo engines. Their Supra I believe was quite reliable and Toyota even helped BMW to fine tune B58 engine for the outgoing Supra. Personally I have faith in Toyota's reliability. And thanks for your feedback on my channel.
Thanks for sharing. And congrats on the new car. I see your concern about the tires, may want to consider swapping them out. I had a similar situation many years ago when I had Mazda 3. Was such a fun to drive little car but in the rain felt like it was on ice.
Are there any owners out there that can provide the long term reliability of BMW 330i? The model is recommended by Consumer Reports. There’s a 2022 model 330i on Autotrader and I am deeply considering it. I read some nay sayers about how expensive the parts are and the hourly labor.
Hmm.. I hope you can find more info on this. I suggest to dig up some forums online. Overall BMWs have become more reliable, but at the same time you may get lucky or unlucky with the car. Engines and transmission are rock solid.
I'm also looking at a 330i right now. The transmissions are ZF8s, one of the best on the market, completely reliable. The B48 is starting to be well documented and also proving to be a great engine. BMW has really turned a corner as far as reliability compared to a decade or 15 years ago. I think it is a solid powertrain. My 2 cents
Hey I have a 2020 bmw 330i and everything was fine until recently at 47k miles my engine mounts broke and I had an oil leak. This happened may 20th 2024 and my warranty ended on June 1st 2024 so I got everything covered just in time. I’m on the edge on selling my bmw 330i or keeping it for 20k more miles than selling it. Absolutely love the car though
Did 50k KM now, nothing wrong with it, it's an awesome engine for a 2 litre. Of course, not every car is the same, and you may have some little issues, but for me, more than enough power, reliable, and i have an estate version, so plenty of space. this one is going for at least 200k KM.
have you driven the facelift 2023/24 330i? i own a 2021 330i and currently driving a 2023 330i loaner which feels almost like a different car! softer suspension and slightly more comfortable but also more numb driving experience
Hey, thanks for stopping by. I personally haven't had a chance to drive 2024 model, but I know exactly what you mean. I recently took a ride in Uber where I was driven in one. Honestly at first I even thought it was 5 series but then I knew the interior was of the 3 series and I asked the guy if this was 2024 model. It is noticeably more comfortable than the older years. I am curious to see how much did it affect the handling. Maybe I will review it one day.
German cars are definitely good. British and Italian cars are good as art collections but not reliable for drivers. French cars? Do you see a single Citron or Peugeot on the roads in your area?

Great video. Really relevant content, thank you.
Thanks a lot for your kind words.
Nice review! I just got a 2021 330i - great car, but in the rain, these Pirelli P7's are dangerous! No grip, after only 11k miles.

@@100miledrive Would love to install a compact spare and jack, to get non-run flat tires at some point. It WAS an option on the 330.
I agree. I also have a 2021 bmw 330i and those tires suck in the rain.

Bro I ain’t gonna lie I really like the 4’s grills
ok sure. Well I do like how M4 looks with more aggressive stance and sculptured hood. Not a fan of regular 4 series.
You all know the Europeans make the best cars on the planet 😉
Of course 😜
ha ha good one. Is it really all Europeans or mainly BMW? I've got to see C300 and Audi A4.
