How to Shape a Tapered Baguette Collet From a Solid Piece of Metal

- Taken from a previous full guide I wanted to highlight this part to show how its possible to cut up a piece of metal and form a collet for a delicate stone.
I have not done too much 'carving' before on the channel but many things are possible working like this. I have made 5 stone rings, half eternity's and complex shoulder designs all carved out like this.
It's difficult doing complicated shapes but I do plan on making a few videos to show what's possible by simply cutting and filing solid metal.

thanks Chris. one that ive had trouble with making collets for is trillion cut, getting all 3 edges looking the same, for some reason much harder than square.
