  • The standard design for collets is to have the top and lower bezels the same shape with the outer sides parallel with each other. This is not necessary.

    for large rectangle stones can do an emerald shape under bezel or an oval one and still function properly. very questionable imo to not have the V in teh peg as a old school jeweler for sawing or resting files when filing or having rings/bracelets angle inward better to work on.

      yes my file is slipping about until I get a decent cut in the peg haha
