Congratulations to you and your crew mates. Your work and your effort in teaching others has always been exemplary. I wish you and the new ownership the best moving forward.
I do not do collision repair. I do restoration work and a lot of driveline components. I personally switched from PPG to Glasurit quite a few years ago, with epic results. I don't have experience with 100 Line, my experience is with 22 and 55 Line products. The color match and ability to research colors has been next level compared to PPG. The Glasurit clears are also very impressive. The coverage, productivity, and durability of Glasurit products has been outstanding in my experience.
If there is one suggestion I would give, when prepping to shoot metallic base, the 55 Line works best with as smooth a primer/sealer as possible. So going that extra step with 800-1000 pays off with metallics. Some might complain about this, but if you are doing high end work you are probably already doing this on many jobs anyway.
    All the best to you.

Out here in California the same thing is happening . Big corporations are buying all the independent shops as owners retire. Happened where I worked for over 25 years. Is the new BASF line taking the place of Glasurit paint line ? Keep us posted. Been retired over 5 years so I don’t know much about product line changes.

I've sprayed the 90 line years back. I could take it or leave it. Not familiar with the 100. I think the Envirobase is more user friendly.

Good luck with the new organization! I know Florida is hot and humid. I used to live in Minnesota which is similar in the summer but now I live in hot and dry Idaho. I had an issue with one brand of urethane not setting up in the dry heat as quick as you would have expected and the result was sags. A little research found that a factory in England was experiencing a similar issue in the dry winter where the only difference was low humidity so they added a humidifier to the booth. I have never used BASF but when talking to a local dealer, I told them the humidity story and he said BASF actually has an additive for low humidity conditions. Based on that, I think you will be happy with the line. Looking forward to how it goes.
