- Hey fuckers! Young Oorah here! SORRY IF YOU FELT LIKE I CLICKBAITED YOU GUYS! I do, do the video for you guys, but I decided to mix in the vlog in with the marine corps stuff. I think it's a great combo and it also makes my life easier in the editing process. I am actually VERY excited to start doing my vlogs this way because I feel like it'll changed up my channel a lot. I will mix in my Marine Reserve stuff along with my, college, and info vids.

Really enjoying your videos man. In leaving in November. Pretty scared. I'm also 28 so I will be a lot older. How are older recruits treated? I've heard they are all treated the same and age isn't a factor. I know I'll get flak for being old and called all kinds of names lol. What advice can you give me. Thanks.

General orders and rank structure, make sure to know the officers ranks as well and their insignias
Excessive movements during drill, that’s what I always fucked up on

We had a couple of "blanket" parties to take care of the guys that constantly screwed up.
The Marine Corps states in the Senior Drill Instructor's Speech that..."I will continue to train you even when you have given up on yourselves"...

The vlog was badass as well as the cats, the only minor thing though was the not as good cameras audio was pretty loud compared to your good camera so everytime you switched over made the audio super distorted. Great vlog though

I’m 21 years old do you have any advice? And for some reason thinking about boot camp makes me nervous as hell because I work with a guy who’s a marine and he says watch you ain’t going to make it and this and that it’s hard as hell I understand it’s hard but any advice ?

I look at it like this. It's the job of the Drill Instructors to weed out people who shouldn't be there and that is fine they are just doing their job but if a recruit says that they quit that means they are broken and should just be let go because again they have been broken and shouldn't be tortured anymore beyond that point. Just separate them ASAP and forget all about them. I mean why keep people around if they scream out that they are done and can't handle it anymore that is just evil.
Nick Marsala Nick Marsala it's the recruiters job to weed out people who shouldn't be there, if your recruiter believes you're incapable of handling all the pressures of bootcamp, he'll either suggest joining a different branch or not joining any branch at all,.. drill instructors job is to make you want to quit and basically completely fuck with you as much as possible
Well I agree that it should be there job first to weed out the people who should not be there but they really aren't thinking about that. They are just more focused on signing people up to meet a quote.
Well yes it's the DI's job to make you want to quit which is what I was saying. Now again that is fine but if you do make someone want to quit than immediately separate them and just let them go. To keep them there and keep harassing them at that point is no longer just doing your job it's just torturing someone and that's very wrong. Thinking you can do something and actually doing it are two different things. Let just be honest about this please.
@@nickmarsala3787 exactly, like poolees can watch boot camp videos all they want but there’s a difference between watching something and actually going through it. Some people just don’t have the temperament to be a Marine. I know plenty of strong people both mentally and physically and they couldn’t be a Marine because they can’t tolerate having someone scream in their face

A .22lr is actually a really reliable and accurate gun, if you look on my instagram page mine is one of my fist post's.Also I have an acog, if I hit it on something lightly, it moves off target is there anything I can do to keep it from doing that?One last question......can an acog go underwater and be fine when it comes out?

Shipping out in 2 weeks how often/far do you run everyday at boot camp that is currently the weakest point of my fitness
Ronald Robinson you don't run too far, you will PT a lot in first phase. 2nd and 3rd aren't much PT, the most you'll run is maybe 4 miles. Just make sure you can do more than 10 pullups. Other wise you'll be like me on the quarterdeck each day getting IT'd. And make sure to go ALL THE WAY DOWN on your pullups. I got screwed over I did 10 but 4 counted. Good luck, just know it's a process, it won't happen overnight. Once again good luck my man. Just graduated by the way, if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask.

I'm sure you know that the Marine Corps Boot camp is also based on war/battles. You must be mentally and physically strong for combat no matter what your MOS is...also if one person does something wrong you can kill the whole squad or platoon. That's why will crush all when one f**s up. We all went through it. Our Boot Camp is 3 months along compared to 6 to 8 weeks for other services. I'm sure you know. Great experience and comments from you young man.🙏🏾
