Thanks for the tips Arsen. Agree that GRAB is likely the most useful app to have in Thailand. It is useful in Vietnam for booking cheap motorbike taxi rides too!

I use the bolt app - no issues, journey's seem to be around 80-90bht so I just give the driver 100bht

Just came back from Bangkok, booked a hotel for two weeks. Found cheaper one and was leaving after 4 days and was charged 1,400 baht. Apparently you don't even need to book on advance. You can just check in on the day and find so many cheap hotels.

Grab application doesn’t apply to USA residence, only in Asaia. I’ve tried setting up account.
Food Panda is ok, but I would suggest trying Bolt first, it's usually much less then Grab, for transport that is
Chatuchak was 90 percent closed down when I went in October. It was a Saturday.
There's a few different "Bangkok MRT & BTS" apps. Some links would have been more useful.

The issue with Agoda, is there is some charges when u use credit card, as final payment will always be more than the price you paid on the website or app.
You need to use a credit card with zero foreign transaction fees

Actually you only need to worry about the MRT lol because is all in Thai language when you try to buy a ticket.I ended up going to the staff to get my ticket

A good video but it would have been useful to have links in the description to the apps mentioned. Sometimes with background noise etc it is not always easy to hear clearly.
