My personal favorite area is Asok, with terminal 21 and the bts on your doorstep . Terminal 21 food floor is hard to beat for value and choice and you can hop on the train to go everywhere on sukhumvit in air conditionned speed!
Agree, Sukhumvit is the best area to stay in Bangkok. Easy to go everywhere with skytrain. Shopping, party and girls in walking distance. Also good hotels in Soi 6 and 8!
You are so right ✅.
@@tomgodheart4557 Closed down long time! Or is it open again? 🤔
For me its Importent an Hotel with a Swimmingpole on the roof and Guest friendly ofcourse !!
Did you find an Hotel with an Infinity Pool ?
Arsen always puts together a very comprehensive video.. glad to support your channel.
Wow. I just know from your channel. Thank you for a good recommendation. 🙏😊🇹🇭🌹
Thank you for such an informative video. Well presented and all those options. Good on you man
I stayed in the Federal Hotel Soi 11 for many years, then it was torn down to make condos; so I went to soi 19 to the sister hotel, Honey Hotel for about 5 years. Then that one closed and I went to Best Comfort Inn down Soi 19 a bit more, great place, friendly staff!
Thanks for all your vlogs!
Stayed in Sukhumvit 11 in 2020.. yes there are few good clubs at your doorstep... 7/11 at both ends of the street and in between Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy
Suhkumvit soi 11 was exactly my choice everytime I was in Bkk and my choice when I will be back finally in September
33 years ago, Soi 4 Nana Hotel Room 111 never forget this stay, coz my first one, even remember the Room Number😅😅, now prefer more calmer Hotels or Homestay, good vlog, good memories, thank you and stay safe 🙏🏼🇹🇭
33 years , so how old are you now , 120, hahahaaa

I love the Shangri-La hotel can’t wait till November,,,,cheers Arsen for the video,, peace and happiness
Something you forgot to mention about the Ibis Nana, the staff are awesome! Very helpful and service orientated. The rooms are not large, but very clean and well maintained. It has become my favorite hotel on Soi 4.
Can't beat the Nana Hotel, great buffet breakfast, fast laundry service and great pool, opposite the Nana Plaza 1 1/2 km from Soi Cowboy, 4 km from Patpong rd
Subscribed for this great content you are making. Thank you so much dude! Coming there very soon.
Thankyou arsen good video as usual
very good clip.
thanks Arsen
Very nice
Informative blog thanks
I love your videos. They are the next best thing to going to Thailand.
Great report, thank you and good luck.
Iv stayed many hotels on soi 4 , all enjoyable stays and all guest friendly. Good nightlife all around and easy cut by soi 6 to soi 8 , Soi 8 now becoming a popular night spot with good bars and restaurants
Thank you for this story 🤗
Thank you appreciated for your nice explanations to others yo follow and enjoy Bangkok city around 👍👍
Perfect timing ⏱ thanks mate
Welcome
Thanks for the information, just looking at hotels in Bangkok now.👍
Stay in Sukhumvit. I like staying at the ambassador on soi 11 👍
The City Hotel right beside Terminal 21 is a great location, decent place.
I'm going in July and this is the exact info I needed very infomational
hey man,, you may face haevy rains in july , Aug in thailand... be prepared..

Thonglor district is my new spot! It reminds me of being back in Amsterdam and NYC
You are Simply Outstanding
Very good video, thanks!
Very informative and educative too
I enjoyed my stay at the IBIS Hotel Nana. A good clean hotel with reasonable prices and great staff. The day manager was a lovely lady who was very helpful. Recommend this place. 👍 Cheers! 🇹🇭
@@tomgodheart4557 How much is the room, please?
Just booked IBIS hotel Nana on October ! I can't wait to be back in BKK
How much per night?
Hey Lucy , i booked in November 😂
I stayed at Sofitel from March 30 to April 3, I like it 😊
does it have pool at rooftop..? also, rent / Tariff pls...
Bangkok Singles, here I come! ❤️😊. Thank you for the recommendations.
Thank You 🙂
Very helpful dear 💓 thanks
Thanks mate 💪
The Royal President is a very good choice, I have often stayed there and will again. The indoor pool is not in direct sunlight so the water is cool. After a hot day in Bangkok (or night) that pool is great.
i love Thailand 🇧🇩
A verrey informative video
Great video thanks
Thanks for the information
Good video for me. Thank you sooooo much.
Great vlog Arsen. Got a six night stay at the Nana Hotel on Soi 4 next week. It might be a little dated but i stayed there on my last trip to BKK and loved it.
Was there 1989, it has a special Charme, not to compare with the new hotels 😊👍🏼
Nana hotel got the biggest beds in Thailand stayed they many times use to love the disco there in early 2000
Very good vlog, very informative.
Very good video
interesting and informative
Thanks for the video. I will be visiting Thailand for the first time in the beginning of April. Made a reservation at Ibis based on your recommendation.
Good choice
I Love Bangkok and before the pandemic, I would stayed at The Darwin Hotel Soi 4, part of the Dynasty hotel chain, a great place & I always felt safe there, also the staff were very pleasant & helpful and lady friendly. Personally I felt a lot of the Bigger hotels are not so lady friendly. I also found using the Sky train very easy and convenient. Thank you for another great video 😎
All dynasty hotels closed now very sad been staying at them all for 15 years
@@stupot1952 yes I have also heard that, but when looking to book for September, they are taking booking's in Pattaya? Let's hope there planning to reopen 😊
@@Lordtowerskp they have opened a new one now
@@stupot1952 I will have to take a look for future booking, as I am off to Pattaya in September and have booked a Condo.
@@Lordtowerskp hopefully it will have got a bit better by then it like a ghostown at the moment
I like soi 20, holiday inn Sukhumvit....good walking distance from Asoke BTS, can jog to park nearby..n walk to nightlife
i ahve been 3 times in BKK and each time i stayed in "The Sukosol" - a little out of the center - but only 3 minutes to walk to skytrain and 4 or 4 stations till Siam Paragon or MBK
On your recommendations ,recently stayed in Berkeley Hotel, Bangkok,,Superb hotel and services
I stayed at the Grand Swiss hotel on Soi 11 and liked it
Nice video Arsen
Bueatiful video 🇧🇩 ❤ 🇧🇪
Yes, I walked around that whole area. I stayed at Movenpick hotel on Soi 15. It was a nice hotel. Can't wait to book another trip to Thailand.
Are you able to bring girls to your room there?
@@yourpapichulo8859 In most cases you can bring a girl to your room. Be careful and good luck!
@@davedaniels4967 thanks bro if u have any other tips or ideas of places to definitely visit I’d love to hear it 🙏🏻
@@yourpapichulo8859 Always check more than one money exchange place for the best exchange rate 👌.
@@davedaniels4967 good one. That reminds me do you know which ATM to use to get cash from? Some exchange rates are sky high
I stayed at Orchid on Soi Nana the first time I went to Thailand 20 years ago. It was fine.
Great information, I personally love to stay at Soi 11.
Yes good choice
Bangkok is huge.. good idea to stay very near to bts station.. consider the Aloft near nana soi 11 we found it very good and affordable too..
Thanks buddy
Thank you
ชอบมาก😇👍🏼
Very good
Love Thailand
Thanks from Nana to Asok plenty to do.. I'm gonna Stat around terminal 21 the good cheap food at try. 21. Sounds good.
Tks,,,🤞🤞🤞🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
The Westin have great roof top pool parties... not to be missed when in BKK
Hi Arsan......... please make a video on the options other than hotels for staying in Thailand........Like hostels, Condos, guest houses etc......It will be very helpful for us........ Please share the details about how to stay on rent in a 1 bhk condos for a one month to three months........! Thanks & Best Wishes to you from Gujarat, India
Check Vlogs of Ride 4 Kickz. Very detailed and informative
4 Points by Sheraton on Soi 15 is good too. Clean rooms, rooftop pool and killer breakfast.
I stayed at Travelodge in Soi 11, it is a good hotel and i recommend it
I fell in love with Thailand from you 6 times, and the seventh is next month
Also Galleria 12 on soi 12 beautiful Hotel Free breakfast swimming pool quiet great staff cost me about $35 a tonight
Ambassador hotel is best. I have stayed there nice hotel nice price and nice street as well.
Bangkok is a megopolis! Silom if you want to impress your Thai Gf, but I prefer some of the deeper local neighborhoods, away from the tourist buzz. It’s a magical city for gogos but don’t spend your whole trip there bro!
Yes I want go end of year
Hello Arsen, my favorite is the Dream Hotel. I stayed there sometimes and it was great every time. They have really large, beautifully rooms. Asok station and Terminal 21 (you have already made a video in the Foodcourt, i think) is near. Thanks for the information about this area..
Was it a party atmosphere? Easy to meet other travelers?
@@williamlawrence2935 Dream Hotel has a relaxed quiet atmosphere. But Terminal 21 is not far away and there it is easy to meet other travelers.
Spitzenhäubchen
I spent a lot of times looking at vlogs and blogs to get an idea for my first stay in Bangkok. I went mid-range, some of those de-luxe hotels on Sukhumvit were eye-watering for 2-weeks stay. I chose Adelphi Suites, a short way up Soi 8. Very good facilies, good reviews, Guest Friendly (always an important point for us single male travellers) and 3k TBT per night (£71/night, $88)
Oh and that price is for a large, well appointed Suite.
Try the Salil Hotel on Sukhumvit soi11 , it’s a boutique hotel that’s about 6min walk away from Nana BTS, great staff there too.
And ALT, it has nice rooms
Nice 👍 information thank you but most of those hotels are expensive not much fit for long stay if do onother vlog for budget hotel for solo thanks again
Soi 8 Sukhumvit is good lots of hotels ..
Retired in Philippines, love Thailand. Go Bangkok always stay at nana hotel. Everything I want is in walking distance.
a good place 2 stay in BKK is the Asia Hotel near Siam-,MBK Center and Phayathai Station.
over there they run my tuned exhausts and stuff on mopeds!
I liked staying in PATTAYA more. More fruit stands, cheaper. Hotels cheaper and quieter.
hotels look same price now?
Any hotel by Terminal 21 is the best place to stay in my opinion because you don’t have to walk far for food and entertainment especially in Bangkok hot weather… sadly dude left out two of the best hotel on Sukhumvit as far as location and price wise. I just left Bangkok and stayed at one of my favorite spots when I use to travel here all the time.
what are the two hotels you speak of?
@@gillamc2084 Grande Centre point Terminal 21 Hotel, a door away from Shopping mall, and a few step away from BTS, MRT stations.
I stay at Petals in everytime. Highly recommended
Exactly what I needed for when I come to bangkok I'm single so thank you ))🙏
Yeeees , me tooooo. Cheers from Miami bro.
Now Bangkok has changed his name to Krungthep Mahanakhon. Get used to it western backpackers🤣
Arsen I’ll be coming to Bangkok for dental work at BIDC in August. Where can one stay that’s affordable near by?
Should I book ahead or wait till I arrive?
Many thanks for videos and suggestions!
As a single guy going to Bangkok for 2 weeks in November, what are the streets I can party on the most druing the day and at night
Thanks for to days video :) I am looking forward to visit Bangkok not for the night life per say but I like all the different foods and things to look at :D
Very useful information, you knew any sakyant tattoo around Bangkok?
Top
👍🙏
Sukhumvit Centre point good place little costly
This covid gave the whole world a hard time … it’s time for us to have a break … this video clip came in time !! Thanks
Yes lol that's were I stayed orchid inn. Nice & cheap with a.c 350 to 400 baht with tv big room to. Siam rice beer from seven 11. Great video soi 8 and soi 6 is cheap to stay to exactly opisite to soi 11! Great knowledge. Best place soi 11 for clubs I agree! My old dj residency was down there.
for me. I prefer citrus suites soi 6 over novotel on soi 4
I suggested Conrad Hotel five minutes from Soi 4. Luxury Hotel Friendly staff great Buffet breakfast guest friendly. Or Novotel hotel on soi 4
If you're going high end chain on Sukhumvit, there are better options. JW(renovated around 2019, great Steakhouse and casual dining at BBCO), Sheraton Grande (dated rooms, but stellar service and dining options, Best gym if you're a meathead) Athenee(nicest rooms), Hyatt Regency(newest, same owners as WGS). On the super high end are Park Hyatt and St Regis, though both are not much better if at all in service than the SGS and JW. All are better than Conrad in my opinion. Hotels on Sukhumvit that are on par with Conrad are Sofitel, Westin, Landmark, Grande Centre Point, Pullman Asoke. In bangkok, Marriott properties are far better than Hilton. Its a shame we are considering second tier names with Conrad. Of course this is all subjective, but there is some consensus on FT.
To each his own I’m Hilton man Friends and family Discount seem to fit me right
As of a week or two ago as I type this, Royal President is undergoing renovation.
I expect to be in Bangkok in a bit under two months, and will know more at that time. I'll try to post an update.
kass got the info .straight up knows.
