We need a Peanut GoPro Harness View thrown into these Vids to see the trouble Peanut gets into, Lol Lovin-it!
“We’ll sniff em out!”
Ive been thinking this, and said it a few times!
He has one, they used to use it on the other dogs.
+1 😁
You mean a Peanut-cam? :)
What a leader! Kaulin taking responsibility for "everyone" forgetting the radios. That's what a true leader does instead of passing the blame.
P.S.: It also shows how well your dad raised you that you're not afraid of admitting to mistakes.
Wow, how brave of him to do that
Gingerann, you're a great apple polisher 😅
@@eastwoodknows no bravery required in a healthy relationship - work, family or otherwise. Mistakes happen. We learn from them and move on.
I don't know. It was more fun when tom tom had to build a birdhouse for forgetting the keys.
Was going to say the same thing..
Kaulin had become such a great piece to the MORR puzzle! Stoked for you to get that sweet XJ!!!!
That's definitely one tasty looking XJ.... Minus the balljoint issue...
I thought Baby Rojo Beard bought him an old truck.
He loves a XJ Jeep. Must say it's in tidy order. Well done Kaulin
Matt and Rudy have an XJ only fitting for Kaulin to get one as well. Can't wait to see the project. Rhett will probably need one in the future.
Kaulin's intelligent demeanor and attitude is going to take him a long way what ever his vocation becomes. He is stepping up in a big way.
Why wouldn't he go wheeling, and wrench in the shop, every day for life?
he's always so happy!
@@sarahstephens5966 Who said he won't?
Kaolin. You won't lose the feeling of stress. You will, rightfully so, become confident in your actions.
@@andybee4236 Yeah, that pressure he feels, is what keeps him from making mistakes. Once you start feeling like it is easy, is when accidents happen.
Kaulin - being nervous means you care about doing it right. Every professional gets nervous weather your a race car driver, carpenter, plumber and so on. Even good ole dad Matt gets nervous, he may not show it but he does. Remember the only difference between a professional and an amateur is a professional knows how to correct their mistakes. Your doing awesome and you will always be awesome. Believe me, your dad has so much pride in you, it's immeasurable.
Like I tell the STEM students I mentor ..... You can't teach experience you can only acquire it over time with hard work
And the only way to know how to correct mistakes, is to have previously made and corrected them 😁
Weather??
Being nervous is good. It keeps you alert. When you stop being nervous, you stop being careful. That's when accidents happen.
🧀
Rhett took the last turn up on the ridge very smoothly. I was very impressed.
That was impressive use on the rear steer to make that turn. I always forget the wrecker is super long, because matt just drives it so well.
@@sgs521 I think that Rhett is the #2 man as far as his ability to use the rear steer. Rhett is getting to be an accomplished 4 Wheeler. Most of that because he trust Matt so much, it has given him some great opportunities to use the rear steer. And Rhett isn't intimidated by the Wrecker.
Any way that you slice it the Wrecker is a very capable vehicle.
They say you are a product of your environment. Those boys really have learned the trade and are doing an amazing job with the recoveries. This shows you that common sense, intelligence and experience overcomes age anytime! !! !!!
They might not know what month it is but they sure have great common sense 😂
🍎
I wasn't sure if Kaulin or Jake would end up buying the XJ. It's a nice clean ride.
Afraid to know what they paid, i have multiple clean xjs and used to be 2k and under now people want 4k for rusty garbage.
@@timothycarey3883 in Europe, prices also went up. I enjoy my XJ but I maintain it well.
The US Dollar is worth 40% of what it used to be worth less than TEN YEARS AGO.
They really need a checklist before they leave the shop. Radio, gas, keys etc.
Nah, it's not professional, it's a hobby.
Like my checklist before I leave my N Minneapolis home -
Phone
G*n
Backup g*n
Spare ammo
Knife
Second knife
Third knife
😂😂
I was thinking the same thing
Matt, there's a LOT of fellas out here who could learn a thing or 2 about raising up youngins from you. It's very rare that you see children in that kind of situation act that humble, kind, and well-spoken. You're a great role model for our country man. God bless 🙏🇺🇸
Peanut is such a treasure, that's one happy puppy! 😍
She scored big time when they found her abandoned under a bridge. She is forever grateful.
@@akelagold I didn't know that! It makes her that much more special. A link to that episode would be much appreciated.
Went by Matt’s shop last week to buy t shirts and peanut and lady was the gate greeter’s
@ COLLIN, That anxiety you get driving a recovery is what keeps you sharp. it's a good thing.
Best ine in the script: "What am I? Hard of smelling?"
Seinfeld reference
That's a line from Seinfeld. The B.O. episode. His car stinks from a valet with B.O. so bad he sells the car.
I thought the line when Rhett was on the ridge was funny. “Alright you should be good there” Matt walks away “we’ll see if he’s good” 😆
All the boys in training with the Heavy Wrecker. You might have to build a couple MORR. Yes pun intended 😂
I figure a few morr XJs and they can have a whole bunch...of bananas
“What am I hard of smelling??” is a Seinfeld reference and it is spectacular. 1:12
Matt is a treasure trove of wonderful popular culture references
I see what you did there.
I’ve visited the shop and met Peanut! She is as friendly as it gets!! Beautiful little dog critter! Clean, soft, bright eyed and happy friendly!!
Great buy Kaulin. Can't wait to see you guys build that one up! You are a chip off your Dad's block. We can all tell how proud he is of you and all his kids. Love you guys. OlllllllO
Kaulin....that feeling should never go away. It means you understand what's at stake and you're paying attention. Over time, it does lessen some but it should always be there. The moment it's gone, complacency sets in and accidents happen. Keep it up sir, you all have an amazing future ahead of you.
Words of advice on those older models. Change the cooling to an open system, keep the awesome chrome grille, swap the injectors to the four hole pattern
KAULIN: If you dont have anxiety and stress about it, then you're not doing it right. Your dad has it. He just doesn't show it.
I have the same anxiety when im towing stuff, but im super protective about being safe and making sure the towed vehicle is safe for everyone around me.
You need a front facing camera on the wrecker. Rhett could have just followed the pickup tracks out.
Matt as a farther I think it's great you teach your boys a Kathleen the safe way to do it .I was the same way with my girls all five of them . GREAT JOB 👍👍👍
This is a great example of a father teaching his son's responsibilities. They aren't home playing video games. They are learning one of the most important lessons in life common sense.
It's really a joy watching your channel for a long time and seeing the progression of your kid's getting involved in the business.
It's impressive that Matt's kids (and helpers) have learned patience. Not everything can happen in 2 seconds! Most grown folk can't even grasp that fact.
...and speaking of radios, you all should consider permanently mounting one of the Midland or other GMRS radio in the cab of the wrecker (actually, all of your rigs). Antenna can mount through the roof. Install a mobile charger/holder for the hand held radios. No more comm issues or dependence on cell coverage. Given your number of subscribers and views, Midland will probably make you a "heck" of a deal. Perhaps you can even partner with them . Note that most of the overland Jeeps and rock crawlers have GMRS on-board.
they had such a promo deal last year or something, don't know what happened since though as i don't see that equipment anymore
Yes, as a Ham Radio operator for 25 years, you should not be using handheld radios inside of a car. It's not worth the trouble. Install a mobile radio with a real external antenna.
I LOVE Matt letting the kids take the show and do all the work and him making sure it's all done properly.
"Peanut's Off Road Recovery"
We want a Peanut tee shirt!!!
When Peanut stays home on a recovery, I miss her. Such a great dog.
@avlisk I've stopped by the shop a couple of times, but the crew wasn't there once and was busy filming the other time.
I wasn't too bummed though because Lady and Peanut were there for me to love on.
I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area to go to the shop and get some 🐕 🐕 🐕 doggie kisses. I'm actually overdue. I think I'll run over there in the next day or so and see those mutts!
Kaulin: the definition of bravery is being scared but doing it anyway. You are better than you think you are, young man. Also: Congrats on the XJ!
Rhett: you are a natural a *lot* of stuff. More importantly, you have the distinct advantage of watching the older chucklehead brothers and deciding yea or nay. [As a number five child, I can tell you it is a good spot to be in.]
Matt: your confidence in your sons is a sight to see. Your pride in them is apparent, and warranted.
Colin im in a family owed towing business and been doing it my whole life and i used to feel the same way as you bud. Ive did some sketchy crap over the years trying to get customers out of mountain trails and mudholes and back to civilization along with everyday towing and recovery and accidents. Your anxiety and the pressure you feel will go away eventually. It took a few years for me but with practice and repetition it will get better. Just keep up the good work and keep pushing your limits til its as effortless as your dad makes it out to be.
something tells me Peanut just LOVES riding in the wrecker.
I think she likes just riding around with her 'pack'...
The "pressure" is a good think my man! It means you have a conscience and are doing the right thing rather than just bangin up someone's property and not caring like a lot of people do nowadays! Keep up the awesome work guys and stay safe having fun making great content in the amazing areas you live in! I really do miss southern utah a lot!!!!
It is remarkably soothing that you all demonstrate such totally competent driving skills. Of course, with the way you spend your days off road, you’d all be crippled or dead if you weren’t so good at it!
“What am I, hard of smelling?” Classic Seinfeld line!
Glad you and your boys are out there slaying the trails helping customers
Helping? He's getting paid. Helping is seeing someone in trouble and giving them a hand.
The wrecker is awesome and makes life easier.... I do miss the XJ a rope and a lot of skinny pedal.
Every time I see the heavy wrecker in the sand it looks like something from "Mad Max, Beyond the Thunderdome".
Man I hate that my 94 Xj got messed up. It has a crate 4.0 in it with only 70k on it. It has a slight bend in the front frame rails from the collision that goes to the passenger side about an inch and cracked the radiator. Then the junkyard the insurance company took it to when it was getting valued completely screwed up all my steering lifting it by the steering bar with a forklift. I feel bad letting it just rot in my yard but I can’t afford to fix it up right now cause it also needs the transmission dropped to replace the torque converter. Not to mention it has to be fixed well enough to get inspected to be registered and all now. But I had fun with it while it was in good shape for about 8 years.
Still waiting on a tee shirt with our favorite dogs on it.
Who besides me would buy one???
I would 100% buy that. Make a "Peanut's offroad recovery" t-shirt please.
7:00 ish, Kaulin, remember buddy, you dont get anywhere in life by staying inside your comfort zone! Youre doing great, keep it up pal!
The wrecker is the SICKEST vehicle!!! It is so dependable so strong and mean looking.
Kaulin the pressure you feel is a good thing it keeps you alert when that pressure fades is when mistakes are made. You are doing great though keep it up.
" Train up a child in the way they should go..."... Really enjoying seeing the next generation taking over the controls for Matt! I recently watched a MORR video from years ago when Rhett was just a youngun; now seeing him command the wrecker just showcases his maturity at still a relatively young age! Seeing Kaulin taking over considering his medical stuff not long ago is also a great thing! God bless! :-)
I bet the anxiety and pressure never really goes away. You just become better at handling it as you continue to do it over and over again. Great job team.
I subscribed at 43,000 subscribers… it’s awesome how great your channel is doing!!!
It was about 70,000 when I subscribed. Lots of good videos since.
So Kaulin wanted a jeep like that one, so he bought that one. Good deal Kaulin Good job Rhett getting the wrecker down the same hill!
Hey Matt. I’m from Hurricane. Graduated HHS 1992. It’s possible we crossed paths. It’s really fun seeing my old stomping grounds.
I still remember when the Wrecker was two huge slabs of steel lying on the workshop floor, now it is more powerful than a locomotive and can leap tall buildings with a single bound, amazing!
A little pressure and anxiety is a good thing Kaulin. Keeps you from becoming complacent.
Kaulin is turning into Matt more and more everyday 😂😂 Moms gonna start sweating soon 😂😂😂😂😂
"Hand'en out kisses & cuddles" ❤ Absolutely Precious ❤️👍🏼
I mentioned on the last vid with this XJ in it that it was good lookin' and had hood vents! Congrats on the new ride, Kaulin! Jake must have been outbid. 😆
I wore my Team MORRVAIR t-shirt to work today! Oh I was going to wear it to a Corvair club event, but had to go support a project at work!
Rhett definitely seems like a natural, he pays close attention to dad which is really cool. Calm relaxed just does his thing and listens to his spotter. Atta boy, Kaulin will get there too, everybody has a different pace. Great team with different strengths. Listen to dad and you'll get it boys. Great video!
Catelyn is always smiling and giggling the sweetest way and she is also learning fast. She is now my favourite after Lizzie is gone to her ranch.
I’m not sure exactly how I stumbled upon your channel, it just popped up one day, and I’ve been watching since.
Everyone does their job, the teamwork is phenomenal, and the learningship/leadership is dead on.
As a professional offshore Captain for over 30 years, I understand how critical teamwork is to having success on a daily basis.
You all knock it out of the park!!!
I just love how Matt let his kids take more and more responsibility and learn advanced skills. Advanced skills like buying Jeeps on the spot! 😁😁😁🤟
The wrecker business always has good broken stuff. Cheap.
It's cool seeing all the old 4wds on this channel. They all rusted out around here years ago.
Kaulin well on his way to full Matt mode in the snow with short sleeves.
Kaulin..I'm impressed...seems like suddenly you show leadership and can do spirit, good for you.
Love that Katelynn is learning the ropes.
Caulin looks real confident behind the wheel...well done. Peanut is one great pup.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell / write to you all. Matt, Paul, Merlin, Chat, Rory etc. You all do a super good job and stand by your families and employees. I always find that very, very nice. Keep up the good work, best regards from Gerold in Frankfurt.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Kudo's to Matt for letting those employee's handle the tows. Learning never ends. It is so hard to let them fail so they can suceed. Good carpenters used to throw away alot of wood!
For the 2,743, 219th time...the MORR Off-Road Wrecker is an amazing, strong, capable BEAST of a machine!
That old XJ is so nice that it is lightly modded and interior looks great. Would love to see it visually restored, perhaps a repaint by Robby. Maybe a Golen motor upgrade, axles and transfer case upgrades for you know...reliability lol
Not really needed if you don't get big rims or lift the car more than 2 inches, the axles bending is a byproduct of the unibody chassis, it acts as a giant spring when axles are crossed and ends busting them.
To be fair, it is a reliable car from stock for trails a daily use,if you want to do anything else, it needs a lot
What is a Golen motor?
@@garychandler4296 it's the 4.6L stroker they put in the Banana and Robby's clone.
A set of JK or JL axles, 33s/35s, and crossover steering would make that XJ bulletproof for most wheeling.
@@Baltimorons762 Here comes the Kaulicon
Congrats Kaulin! Welcome to the xj fam.... 💪
What must it be like to have a father that believes and trusts you… Great work Matt, your kids are awesome!
The Banana, The Rudicon, The Tangerine, Deja Blue,... what will Kaulin's be?
Matt is known for Corvairs, but at this point i think he has rescued more XJs😂
Matt, your whole crew is great. The boys are really coming along on their skills, both recovery and mechanical. They both seem to be very comfortable telling the story on camera as well. Soon, you can start to relax a little more knowing you have really competent people covering all the bases.
Lunch cooked on the exhaust manifold is a treat
Y'all got one of the best teachers when it comes to what y'all do you're all prodigies of him and you all got it in the bag you all have amazing skills you wouldn't know if it wasn't for him the whole country needs fathers like MATT.
Xj recovery’s are always interesting
Weird, I've never met any of you but I am excited for Kaulin's XJ. He is a great kid.
Man you guys have a beautiful backyard! Stunning. The pressure will always be there Kaulin. But with experience the anxiety will decrease.
Kaulin, that is an absolutely gorgeous XJ, congrats, I'm glad you like the early models, gives us both of them on the channel now! Congrats again.
If the wrecker hasnt done anything it HAS brought them boys around to doin the job and actually paying attention and wanting to learn.. and THATS awesome
Radios: might want to keep them by all the vehicle keys or do like we have at the postal service and install a walkie charger mount in each vehicle and just keep one radio in each charger mount in each vehicle.
I would assume they're pretty low voltage, but just a suggestion.
Thank you Matt and crew for the adventure and seeing some beautiful scenery ! Rhett did an awesome job driving on that ridge ! Kaulin did an awesome on towing his recovery out also ! They both will get use to it all as they get more experienced with it !
Matt, you guys just make me smile !! You work so well together and it's a pleasure watching and knowing the next generation is here!!! Great work ethic. You always recover one way or another one day or the next
"What's a tachometer?" 🤣😂🤣
What makes Boys to men is a statement in its own but the way you grow with your boys is priceless
When I first started operating cranes, that’s the same way I felt. Very anxious and nervous, worried about messing something up. After doing it now for about four years, gaining experiences and overcoming obstacles having small wins here and there, it has really became routine and like an extension of myself. You’ll get there to where you don’t think twice about what you’re doing and it will be natural. Just takes repetitions, failures, and successes.
That pressure is what keeps you on your toes and others safe. Think through every movement and interaction. Big and small.
Editing gets better with every episode. It's always been good, but in the recent videos you have dialed it up to 11. And damn, love that Jeep. Just a solid and clean ride.
Kaulin I remember the anxiety I had when I got my roadtrain licence in australia and was legal to drive on the road when I was 24, I had been driving trucks on the road from 13-16yo and wasn’t as scared but the more you do it the more confidence you will gain it’s called experience so keep at it 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
The sound the rear steer makes is such an Aliens P-5000 Powered Work Loader thingy 14:00
Kaulin - you did a great job!!! You listen, think, and act. Man just backing that XJ onto the rollback - that was amazing! Find yourself, pat yourself on the back. No Anxiety!
The biggest wrecker to the rescue of two vehicles Matt and Kaulin, then Matt and Rhett. Matt's team assisting with the Jeep recovery. Good job!
Great buy, Kaulin, and 2 good recoveries! Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Matt,I have to Praise You and Jamie on what a great Job you two did on raising you kids!!! They all are super polite and always willing to jump in to do heavy work. Props to You and Jamie!!!
Great jobs you guy's and Kaitlyn. Wishing you could get a set of radios for each recovery vehicle.
I got my bronco stuck same as this pickup, but one tire was completely in the air....lol. too much fun!!
You have the coolest recovery vehicles. I have always like the Chevy Corvair body style and the Corvair wagon you turned onto an off road vehicle is so awesome.
I thought posting on the most recent video might help… I’m sure I told you about my Pismo Beach story on Devil’s slide 1973…. it is an off camber to the right climb something like a switch back but it’s a Sandune and it’s a 30 foot Sandune drop if you don’t ride it right well we got hung up.…. There were people there to help, but my father was fairly stubborn. We took the spare tire off of the back drugged up the hill took our shovel took the winch line wrapped it around the spare tire and buried that spare tire is deep as we could in the sand and pulled ourselves out, my mother was completely freaked out the time of my life
It's great to see the kids work the MORRNSTER wrecker, good job! 👍
So cool to see the Boys CRUSHING IT ! ... They got an awesome example to follow, Kinda like Rudy, wouldn't ya say ? ❤🎸👍
It would be cool to see the heavy wrecker with A camera or 2 on the front of it to help get out of tight situations when there's no one to spot if there was one on each side of the front you could set it up on a split screen and then maybe even just one in the back so you can see the vehicle you are towing that rear camera could also be put on a split screen or be able to turn other ones off to have the rear camera larger while driving there is a lot of options for that kind of stuff just the rear camera would be a big help for sure
The team always do great jobs. I always like the music that you have during your travels
Awesome job, MORR. Congrats Kaulin.
OH..... I'm looking forward to that New Jeep build !!!!! Love them XJs !!
i so love seeing the outstanding teaching
everybody gets the chance to grow
