This was my first Exposure product and is a bit of a gateway drug… but the battery life was too poor for me. Don’t want to think about recharging the rear light every week. The Blaze is expensive but worth it.

Personally I prefer COB tail lights because the single bright LED style brightness drops off so severely when you are not directly behind (this can be clearly seen when you move the DayBright from side to side, it's really only bright at 0degrees). I have a Moon Nebula which has a much wider beam and is (I think) almost 3 x brighter. For my money having a light that impinges on the consciousness of drivers when they are very close or actually beside you is way more important than just being seen at a distance.

I have the same light as you and have the same reasoning/thoughts. I always use the brightest flashing setting and have noticed a massive difference in how drivers manoeuvre around me. Seems they don't like being blinded so have to give me enough space.

Thanks for that Graham, have just ordered on of the tracer lights. Many people say don’t use the brightest setting ( daylight ) would you agree and what setting do you use ? I ride trials, off road mainly but sometimes have to use roads in quite rural places so I wanted like yourself not to be hit !

The new Exposure Boost R has double the burn time, does this make it the best in the Solar System? 😊
