I wish you made tis video twenty years ago when I was working for a friend of mind in an old council shed with 30 second-hand or ex-tip bikes for wayward boys & girls from Wiltshire council. Thanks, Graham.

Very interesting and therapautic to watch the fresh grease being applied Graham. How often should we be doing a service like this?

Get asked that all the time. 6 months? As always, depends on use, conditions and how you clean your bike

if you spray your pride and joy with degreasers and cleaning products a lot sooner.

Graham, thinking of trying out your favourite Squirt - would you degrease the existing chain etc first, or just change over to Squirt? I use Finish Line wet throughout the year - seems to be do the job. (I noticed on Hope’s video, they use 3-in-1 on the new hub ratchet ring. That’ll upset a few people.🙂)

Hi Robert, if you chains mucky with oil then yes give it a clean off, then Squirt away. As for 3- in 1. I guess any light oil will do. Less drag than grease
