    5:00 in the EU, UVB 50+ with UVA means : UVB protection above 60 and UVA protection above 20 (60/3). So it is better than the Asian PA++++ which is above 16.

    Wish they made "face" sunscreens in larger bottles to make the prices go down. Maybe enven those 300/400ml pump bottles.

    I got the body one for my beach holiday last year and it was really great! I had a lot of product left (holiday was definitely too short!) so I carried on using it on my face and I was surprised at how good it was. While it's not specifically advertised for face use, I felt comfortable using it anyway because of the sensitive and acne prone skin claims. It's not as good as the Oil Control one for everyday use, but it's definitely a great budget option. Would 100% repurchase for the body.

    Found both on sale today. Bought both- tested them each on one side of my face. I have oily-combination skin and, although it’s been only a couple of hours- both look beautifully, not greasy at all on greasy parts of my face. However considering that it’s winter, I think that I like big one more - it feels more comforting on the dry parts of my face. Also scent is barely there, so it didn’t even bother me. Thank you for the recommendation!

    I have the Eucerin Sensitive Protect Dry Touch and I love it BUT the smell!!! I find the fragrance to be offensive and lingers on for a long time and it is the major reason why it's not in my top favourite sunscreens. It's up there but the fragrance is the major drawback. I have sensitive eyes but the worst offender for me has been octoCRYlene and avobenzone. Even if I can't put this on my eyelids due to the avobenzone, the size makes up for it. There's a sunscreen I've been eyeing for a while now that may be a dupe for this but without the fragrance. It's the Nivea Sun Kids Sensitive Protect & Play Sun Lotion SPF 50+. Nivea and Eucerin are from the same parent company. I've compared several of their sunscreens and they seem to have a lot of similarities. The only thing is the Nivea one is harder to find. I wish Eucerin would offer a fragrance-free version.

    I've noticed both of the eucerin spfs pilling on me. No skincare underneath, and I don't have particularly oily skin... It only pills in certain areas, but where it pills it does so pretty badly. Not sure if it's related to how it's applied but it's definitely disappointing :/

    To anyone whose tried it, I have dry skin but I have a very moisturizing moisturizer that I would put under the sunscreen. Would you recommend? I’m trying to find sunscreens that dry quickly and don’t feel greasy:)

    • @rubyrose49
      @rubyrose49 2 года назад +3

      I skip moisturizer now. I've tried countless of sunscreens and what you're looking for is currently a unicorn. The only ones remotely close are Japanese sunscreens. Out of all the European sunscreens I've tried, the Eucerin one has been one of the most cosmetically elegant. The body one should provide adequate moisture. But if you're set on using a moisturizer, it would certainly change the feel of the sunscreen.

    Are there any makeup wearers who can tell me whether or not the eucerin oil control sunscreen works well under eyeshadow? I'm on the hunt for a lightweight spf that won't encourage my eyeshadow to crease.

    •  2 года назад

      Well do you prime usually or no?

    • @medusawall
      @medusawall 2 года назад

      Yeah I usually apply an eyeshadow primer and then I will layer the SPF on top of it, that works pretty well for certain "typical" formulas like morphe but certain other formulas like duochromes I will still get creasing while wearing my spf because they're both more emollient. So basically I'm looking for a sunscreen that dries down and sets really well and won't encourage more creasing.

    • @medusawall
      @medusawall 2 года назад

      I've even tried the trick of setting it with a setting spray and while it helps, it still creases.
