Very oily skin and I’ve been searching for a non-greasy sunscreen for yearrrrssss! I finally discovered the one that is perfect for my skin: littllexttrra riceberry sunscreen. As someone who is always searching for the best budget products, I really thought the Eucerin daily protection spf 30 was going to be great, but I literally have to wash it off my face and apply something else almost every time I use it. I have heard such great reviews of this product from trustworthy derms, so that's why I say, it may not be a guaranteed dollar-well-spent. I love Eucerin products usually, just not that one. Just a note for sunscreen reviews, its super important to note the tone / opacity of tinted sunscreens for different skin tones (light/dark)
Hi guys, I’m very surprised that you are not trying and recommending more Eucerin skincare products. In Europe dermatologists adore this brand and it is widely accepted and recommended. From the entire skincare I have bought in North America only Eucerin is making me try and buy more and more. My sensitive skin is tolerating their products surprisingly well. Hopefully my suggestion is not annoying you. I love and appreciate your work!
I've been very surprised at the Native face sunscreen, at $16, it's mineral based and blends in with no white cast. Plus I work in the garden for hours and forget to reapply sometimes and have never gotten burned on my face, which is amazing for me.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Sunscreen isn't my favorite because of the smell, but my 2 year old LOVES it. He lays on the changing table and just relaxes as I am applying it his face and arms. It's pretty cute how he just closes his eyes and enjoys the experience. We call it "facial time "LOL; he looks like how I feel when I'm getting a facial at the spa.

Thank you so much for this video! I love EltaMD for my daily wear, and Canmake Mermaid Gel when I want to look dewy. I'll have to try out Vanicream to see if it could be a good substitute for EltaMD. Unfortunately I've found that I'm sensitive to at least one common American chemical sunscreen, but I don't know which one. I also love the HydroBoost line, so I thought that sunscreen would be good for me, but I couldn't wear it. That was when I finally realized the issue was the active ingredients, not the supporting ingredients.
Other great but inexpensive sunscreens (chemical): Black Girl SPF 30 sunscreen. It's fragrance free, and absorbs beautifully, with no cast; and Cerave Ultralight Face Lotion Moisturizer SPF 30 (though it has a wonky pump).
Hi! Not sure I'll get a response at all bu here is my challenge with sunscreens for my face. Start the day with a fresh for the world to see. Moisturizer goes on, sunscreen, goes, all of the take care of my face products go on, foundation, eye shadow, blush... you name it goes on. Two hours later how do we put sunscreen on over all that? You're mentioned some "all in one" products that are coming onto the market & I'm very thankful. Especially because sunscreen, yes, is the most important. However this can become kinda tricky business. Messing up, gooping up the layers of powder, and otherwise, placed on the face to start the day. Have clients asked about this?
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I just ran out of sunscreen- been using the Blackgirl moisturizing sunscreen (suggested from your older video) since it doesn’t sting my eyes! Canadian Amazon unfortunately discontinued the product so i’ll be checking out these new ones.
the trader Joes sunscreen is probably one of the best products I have bought, that thing is invisible on my skin, no shiny greasy look, no white cast (it is a gel type of sunscreen) very light weight on my skin, I love it.
So glad you mentioned sun bum! It was fine when i first used it but after a few months i developed an allergic reaction to it and my skin no longer tolerates it 😢
Thanks for the recs! Having super sensitive skin, and leaning dry, I've been on the Vanicream bandwagon for a long time - the cream I wear on my face and body, and I use their face and body cleanser. Sadly, that Vanicream sunscreens (and the moisturizer without sunscreen - with Ceramides), breaks me out and makes my face feel icky... I can't wear any Cerave products - except the cream, which my body loves...Go figure. ...For sunscreen, I use EVY Kids from overseas. I'm willing to pay more because this is the only sunscreen my face likes...Anxious to try the Neutrogena Hydroboost water cream....
The cerave 50 is thick and gloppy and leaves more than just a cast of white. I love it, though, for cycling. It’s extremely effective and sweat resistant. I’ll take the comically white face while cycling.
Some folks can't do this, but to save $$$ i use body sunscreen on my face. For my sensitive skin the only mineral sunscreen that doesn't break or dry me out is Coppertone pure and simple. It leaves a white cast, but i only use it while gardening. Korean sunscreens, which are never water-resistant, is what i go for if I leave the house. And i use a body sunscreen (derma-b). It's worth a try to see if a body sunscreen works on your face. Just keep using it on your body if it doesn't work out.
I love Supergoop's Glowscreen and based on your videos, i bought the Elf Whoa Glow Sunscreen! Thank you! It has squalane, Hyaluronic acid and niacinamide too
Thank you for letting us know about sunbum. I check for that ingredient in shampoos and conditioners but never thought about sunscreen products. I have a sensitivity I didn't like the Trader Joe's one. To much silicone for my oily skin

@@wolffennec474 which? Does lab tests and they said they sent it to independent laboratories that test sunscreens. And they do multiple tests even if it fails. Totally agree that the CeraVe Mineral sunscreen is awful - unless you're going for the lifeguard, white goop on the nose look.
Love the e.l.f. sunscreen/primer. Works well with L'Oreal foundations.
Great video docs. I need one so will get one of top 3. Prob try Elf one . I like their products. Thanks! 🌞
I bought the Hero Force Shield sunscreen at Target for 20 dlls. And it’s been great for my oily acne-prone skin! I’d recommend it to anyone!
Thank you! Thank you!
It is so awesome that I buy 5 at a time because I am scared it will be discontinued.
This is so interesting because I find it super greasy! I use two finger lengths of it (and have oily skin)
I am going to pick some up the next time I am at Trader Joe's.
♥️♥️♥️this content Docs!!!!
Love it!! I love when you say "here we go." I get excited for what is coming. 😆
So glad you mentioned sun bum! It was fine when i first used it but after a few months i developed an allergic reaction to it and my skin no longer tolerates it 😢
Thank you just in time I was just searching for one. You’re the best ❣️❣️❣️
Wow amazing and perfect timing, as we needed this video, Thankyou both so much and can’t edit up see your next vlog xx
Thank you so much for sharing all of your wonderful information with us.
Thank you for sharing this!🥰
I love Supergoop's Glowscreen and based on your videos, i bought the Elf Whoa Glow Sunscreen! Thank you!
It has squalane, Hyaluronic acid and niacinamide too
Can you do a video about lip balms with spf? They are so difficult to find and some taste really bad
Just love your content...cannot believe how fast you got to millions of followers!! Congrats guys!
Love your video’s. Great info! Off subject , what are your thoughts on PRP?
Thank you for letting us know about sunbum. I check for that ingredient in shampoos and conditioners but never thought about sunscreen products. I have a sensitivity
I didn't like the Trader Joe's one. To much silicone for my oily skin
Your videos are helpful ❤️. Please do a skin routine for people with Eczema 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for the informative video. You guys are beautiful.
I would love a video discussing calloused and fissured skin (especially feet) and options for that. Should you scrap them down .. what kinds of creams. I have tried literally everything and I feel like they just keep getting worse 😭
Love your channel
Dr. Dray recommended Kerasal Intensive Foot Repair. And, I can definitely see the difference between the periods when I am using it and when I'm not. You should be able to get it at Target.
Get a product with urea in it
@@hannahm7373she also recommended the Gold bond Aged renew retinol overnight body lotion…I have been using it every day and it made a huge difference on my feet. Love Dr. Dray !
I'd love it if you did a video on mineral sunscreen use and it's reliability. Weirdly, the UK website which?, An independent reviewer, tested a lot of sunscreens and most of the mineral sunscreens failed to meet the SPF label specified over two tests, and they were from big name brands with a high price tag
But did they shake it? that's concerning
@@wolffennec474 which? Does lab tests and they said they sent it to independent laboratories that test sunscreens. And they do multiple tests even if it fails. All the chemical sunscreens seemed to pass, all the mineral ones failed two repeat tests, including the Hawaiian tropics milk sunscreen that I use, it's SPF 30 but provided under spf15. There was also a £36 mineral sunscreen that failed, and the companies that commented basically made excuses or argued they also have them checked. It's made me less trusting of them but I'm allergic to chemical sunscreen so I buy high spf mineral
Thank you for this. Very considerate to give such candid and honest advice about such an important subject in skincare. Quality and money that are what matters. ❤
Australian Gold tinted mineral spf 50, is by far THE best sunscreen for your face. It is incredible, and deserves to be mentioned. Smooth, not one bit greasy, blends into the face perfectly.
It was my holy grail but since they changed from Tinted to shades (good start on inclusivity) I find it near impossible to find the light tint
I have this but I feel it's is greasy on me and I have fairly oily skin. Bummer 😢 Glad it works for others! I am looking for a tinted high SPF here in Florida.
I love the tinted Australian Gold too… and use it as a foundation so it allows me to look good as well as protect my skin…it might be a little drying on very dry skin.
Love your videos! Please do an Honorable Mention for products that are widely available!! Thanks!
I'm in France and bought the La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVmune 400, WOW! Fantabulous. Looks like it's not available in the US, probably going to bring a few back. Thoughts on the ingredients?
For humid weather and oily skin ANESSA Mild Milk sunscreen is great
Yes please talk about mineral sunscreen because omg I cannot use the normal kind. My face gets super red, itchy, and bumpy looking like a crunch bar 😡😂
You left out a very important ingredient for me..... the one that stains my clothed yellow!! Please cover this for us. You guys are great by the way!
Love & trust you two, thanks for the great options. I’m loving Drmtlgy Universal tinted, not that budget Fri, but on sale not bad.
Appreciate the info it makes sense 😎
Love your videos. It has helped in improving my skin. Could you please do a video sunscreen for toddlers and for kids with eczema?
I also use 50+ sunscreen. I had to throw away almost all of my Skin products. Very happy with your tips. And it matches. My specialist also said rather pay more and get good products.
Glad you talked about common allergens. I have sesitive skin and watch for fragrance, but some things still leave me red and or itchy. I will be on the watch for those ingredients now. Thanks.
You should do a review of body sunscreens to use for everyday!
now do a video of sunscreen that DOES NOT BURN THE EYES !!!!! its my pet peeve i literally cry throughout the day
This was extremely helpful. Do you happen to have a similar video for foundations for acne-prone skin?
You should do a video on metheylene blue in skincare.
I would live this channel to do honest reviews of ZO and Image products.
Thank you for this!
Can you plz make a video for skincare rutine for pregnant women? Face and belly??? 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for this informative video.❤ I did go to my local Trader Joe’s and didn’t realize they had sunscreen there. They have a few zinc ones that work. I got the “Zinc Oxide Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum no fragrance hypoallergenic. Rubs in clear. Ultra lightweight. They have also an impressive beauty section that is cheap. But quality. I tried the microdermabrasion and it was gentle. They also had a Brazil nut body scrub. I got it. I will try it tonight. Y’all should try TJ’s!
omg i was thinking of looking for a new sunscreen to try and this was uploaded two minutes ago 😭 tysm for making this
I’d love to hear your K-beauty picks!
