Yay!! Its good to see Sarah!!
I know, right!! Thanks, Karli, you're awesome as usual!!
Thanks for showing us your home! I love your rig!
I have a 77 rear kitchen clipper like yours I got it for 100 dollars I love the history on these it was in great condition but it was stolen from me I got it back and they had left roof vents open causing water damage on the ceiling and painted the paneling white and not done good at all also rats were in there when I recovered it but I'm not giving up on her she still runs good and rest can be fixed it does make me sad tho to see how nice yours is inside I'm happy for you lol but I wish mine was still that nice inside thanks for sharing as I'm working on it now this video gave me.motivation
Great video!! Awesome lady!! Always loved those American Clippers..such quality. They were ahead of their time really..with certain features nobody else had such as the "ledge" storage area above the living area that can be seen from the overhead bed..The distinctive smooth fiberglass exterior that very few had in 1978..yet after all these years...no delamination like new ones today have..How many newer Class C RV's do you see where the front overhead bed area is falling apart due to water damage? Funny how a former Tesla employee bought an RV from the age of no computerized engines!! Back when they were simple to work on!
Yeah, and it’s crazy that her Clipper is only 20ft long but it seems so spacious and roomy. My Rig is three feet longer than hers but her Rig seems like it has a lot more room than mine.
They took the captain chairs out too lol just noticed yours so ours are exact same models n floor plan
WOW! I was so excited to find this video! I have a '77 Clipper and I absolutely love it :) My 13 year old son and I moved out of our downtown Seattle apartment this past October and hit the road in our Clipper (which we named Gned Ryerson). We spent several months traveling and it was amazing. We'll be stationary for a while and I have a lot of plans for updates to it, but it really has been very well kept up. I feel very lucky to have found it. I'm currently designing my own position in a company that will allow me to travel in it frequently. I've met a few Clipper owners along the way and they all love their rig. Even at over 40 years old, no one complains about them. Surely a testament to how well they were designed! Thanks for posting :) ~Reese
Hey, Clippers are beautiful old Rigs. I have my classic Dodge that I’m actually selling...but I really love the old clippers
Hi do you have a clipper for sale?
Hello Sarah that is a bute of a clipper , you've made it so homey and a reflection of you so cool I just love it , I'm so inspired I've just this week acquired a 22 g30 glendale and exited to make it home , nice jackalope they are so rare to see in the wild now , safe travels Peace
I love how she kept it the way it came. Love her style💚 great video.
Sarah’s all about keeping it time sensitive and original. With all the remodeling and renovation going on with older RV’s it’s good to see
I loved this clipper
Love the layout of this camper!
Its really a great layout for such a tiny little Rig
Sarah's from the Pacific northwest.. yay.. love the tour of the clipper.. love the interview...
Thanks 🙏🏼 a million

I like that she is renovating as she goes

One just went up for sale today where I live and it looks to be in excellent shape. I wish I had the money!
they are amazing little campers.
Pretty sweet little rig. 👍
Yes, Sarah sure does love it
really awesome vid
Thanks 🙏🏼 so glad you enjoyed it
This is great man! Best Broll I've seen you shoot so far!
Thanks Man! I'm getting there!! Slowly but surely!
VagabonDaze yea of course! What are you working on now?
Hacking Hollywood I have three more videos to be edited and put in the cue.
@@NOMADNEWSTV get on it! Jk lol!
Hacking Hollywood what do you think I’m doing, Foo!! 🤓👍
It never ceases to amaze me how someone living in America can buy one of these for a few hundreds or thousands and basically have a fully furnished roof over their heads. Really the land of opportunity, if this was in my country you would be robbed of everything just because everyone would love to have one, old or new because houses are fricking expensive and just having that alone would be like a dream come true. All the way from Trinidad and Tobago i'm telling you, i love these things.
Hey 👋🏼 Thanks 🙏🏼 Matt!!
...Great Job...where do you get the special windows?..
I have a '76 Clipper. It's in California, and I need to prepare it to drive 2000 miles to missouri. The carb has been giving me the business! Damn Thermobog!
This one just had the engine pulled and completely rebuilt
@@NOMADNEWSTV Has it been changed to Throttlebody Injection? or is it still running the Thermoquad as per stock?
Very nice,,,I have a sportman dodge 1977,,those 440 engines can reading haul..you can tow a trailer with those,if you have a tow hitch....engines are sometime use for hot rods..
I have a 440 in my Rig as well, but mine is a 440-3, Sarah has the 440-1, which one do you have in your Sportsman?
I have a 1980 24 foot American clipper camper. It’s 1 of 24 I think that was made. They are cool campers.
Wow nice Sarah and you should be buddies
Thanks for sharing your vid on the American Clipper RV! I have seen one advertised in NorCal. Didn’t have
A price but wanted to trade for a car for his grandpa. Looks a lot like your rig.😁 . Not ready to be a full time
Nomad.. but always loved the older and smaller RV’s. Perhaps, one day👍🖖🏽
Not my RV but thanks for watching
I have the exact same rv and I'm restoring it as we speak. 440 and I'm putting a efi and a 513 overdrive transmission in her. Be on the road soon.
Awesome would love to do a tour video of her if you’re ever in SoCal
@@NOMADNEWSTV when it's done I will give you a call. But CA is not on my travel plans but maybe we can meet close.
You should look at making RTR2020 next year.
luv it, just bought me one 1978 all it needed is a rear kitchen counter missing stove, 40,000 original miles cab almost perfect, top air conditioner needs work, i could not pass this up 400.00 w/ new tires, cant wait to start working on it, oh yea solar panel, only one, leaving cali going up the coast.. peace.
I’m in SoCal what part of Cali are you in?
I have the same RV... I love it too!
awesome maybe you and Sara will cross path's one day!!
I have the same Rv I love it too!.👍
Hello...nicee video. I also have a 1989 ford class camper. Smart looking to buy another clipper...but may need to get just same year or so dodge rv...lots same parts
Sweet
Glad you liked it, thanks for commenting
FYI for older Dodge and Chrysler
Possible on your firewall there is a reck tangle white thing with 4 wires on it. Another part is metal square thing with small triangle wire connector on it. Keep a spare one of each in you're gluve box. Price should be under $35.00 fore both. The 4 wire thing, white in color is a ballast resistor .,
Good to know
Why?????
Yeah those ballast resistor could go out any time, it was so common that they would sell them in Kmart.
It's so the ballast remains correctly resisted!👍. Be safe you g chickie! Hope to be joining that crowd. Have an awesome machine. Ready to retire.
This is a nice rig to live full-time in I would love to find one in nice shape and owners that took care of it but great video
It really is keep in mind this Rig is only 20ft long as well so it fits in just about any parking spot. It’s very nice and roomy.
LOve the jack-a-lope...!
Yup, I concur lol
Like to here more of your expirience...i am jealous ! Lol...mike
Hey Rav,
Great interview! I think you are in love...with the Clipper! All those close ups and slow pans of every detail...is it just making a detailed video record of a classic piece of Americana, or is it love?
Haha 😆 Thanks 🙏🏼 David actually I just wanted to make one decent tour video, unlike all the half ass ones I had done before. Trying to get my footing on doing tour videos for my channel’s future.
Well, you're off to a good (re) start. Your interviews are great. You ask pertinent questions and you let your guest speak without verbally trampling all over them. Keep up the good work!
David thanks Bro, I’m really trying 🙏🏼
I think I've seen her rig in the back ground of the bread truckers (paul) videos of space port 42 at slab city.
Yes, they all went to the Slabs after RTR I had to come back to LA and get some work done but I’m hoping to join them in the Slabs soon!
Its a great story and cool rig...but honestly I subscribed because you had not only 1 but 2 #SNES ...if Im not mistaken...lol
We had one years ago and it caught on fire twice...
That’s not good
Hey Sarah, this is a new clipper owner here 😁 same year as you. I was wondering if you ever bought a parts clipper? I have a back up parts rv and just putting it out there that if you are looking for parts for trade or purchase let me know. 😊
Thinking of getting a 1977 Clipper. I’d the difficulty finding parts s major drawback? Wondering if this should keep us from buying it?
I'm curious how those particular solar panels are working out for Sarah. I live in a 1977 American Clipper and am looking to add solar.
I’m not sure haven’t talked to her in about a year now
I’m looking at one in a few days in excellent condition... I had a 10 year old Dodge Magnum and it was riddled with issues for three long years! So I’m leary of another Dodge. Seems they built amazing large engines though. I’m wondering how I can tweak this to live in it in the AZ summers. How is the insulation in these? I might need to re-insulate. Anyone have any advice or input?
It's a fiberglass shell it will stay much cooler than a tin shell. I have a similar Rig for sale
Only problem with those Dodgers ever hard to start I'm hard on starters because it takes so long getting started it burnt starter set
Mine always kicked right off never had that problem
Wow, brought back memories. My uncle Jim had this, sadly, he passed and the rev was given to some stranger. I could have used it due to the situation now.
it is so clean. my OCD wants to reach through the screen and rip off all of the stickers. AGH
stickers are all over peoples rigs that live in them full time.
these make good donators to trucks and cars if they have 440s, I feel bad for her if it has the carter thermoquad
When I go to these sites it's always in a desert
That’s where the BLM land is
I to have a 1978 amercan clipper the best i think would nt want anything else
I have a very nice dodge for sale
@@NOMADNEWSTV hey can you ask to shara if she wants to sale the RV call me 801)638-07-88
Ive never seen u at Tesla ...... ever .
Did you even watch the video? She retired from Tesla lives off her stock options. Why make comment if don’t even watch the video?
What a fun video. I'm looking for a Vintage Dodger RV myself right now. So if anyone knows of one for sale. Please let me know. Thanks Terry
Mine is for sale Terry! It’s the white one sitting beside the Clipper with the flag on it. Check out the other Vagabondaze videos
@@NOMADNEWSTV I just got in and saw your message here. So how can I see your RV. Do you have Pics to send me and information. Let me know. Thanks
So I just saw the Clipper with the Flag. So is this yours Sara ???? Let me know and Thanks
OK I just checked out the Video again and if its the one beside the one with the Flag on it . Then this is the one that belongs to Sara. If so. Let me know. I want to talk to you about it. Thanks Again. Terry :)
No Terry if you look at the video closely there’s a vintage all white camper with an actual American flag 🇺🇸 flying on the back its for sale for $10.5 I have a tour video coming out soon! Not the Clipper in this video
I have to sell my clipper- exact same model 97k on the engine ALL original.
That should be an easy sell. I’m selling my Dodge as well
If you still have it I am interested in buying.
Still have it, interested in buying.
@@xxdrleek10 hi I have an American clipper for sale
@@xxdrleek10 can you call me at 801)638-07-88
"Dufi" are everywhere! Give us some rv info ramble-duuf! Duh...
Nice camper, cute women but too much clutter inside.
most full-timers like Sarah and myself have tons of clutter. You have to get rid of stuff a couple times a year.
