I love her honesty! Most tiny home owners only show off their 'perfect' builds but she gives us her mistakes, problems with the van etc, it's so refreshing!
I want to cry. The world is getting so messed up with high rents, homelessness, etc. Living in a RV has saved me and my roommate from that hardship. When l bought my ol Prowler, a 24' camper I told my roommate he would never be homeless again. It brought tears to both of us. He suffers from mental and physical illness and has been in an out of mental hospitals, jail, and living on the streets for over 20 years. This thing has been a God sent. I am so glad to see this sweet lady has found a way to survive with her pets, she deserves to have a place to lay her head down in peace. We all do, lot's of love from me to you. 💕
You're such a good friend. ❤ Sending my love and positive vibes...also with rent being so high, I can't afford my own place... But I will be living in a camper as well (I live with my family atm) so yeah I can't wait to own my own home!!! Camper will be turned into a tiny house 😊❤❤
The cat is trying to show off their home too. It's like "this is the place I like to nap, and this is where I like to nap, and this is also where I like to nap".
I’m a widow with a 20 year old son who is in college. I have truly found something I want to do and that is either a schoolie or tiny house. I know a few things about construction as my Dad can build a house from top to bottom and everything in between and my late husband was a roofer who could do basic construction. They both taught me a few things! Watching your tour was amazing! You did a wonderful job on your build. I hope to see more posts and vids from you soon! Just amazing!!! God Bless!

Christie Bolden ..save yourself some heartache and stress..buy a good cheap travel trailer.. if you want to live in just a regular van it's not much money to fix it up..what I am saying is that the real tiny house thing is a big rip off..
This is an awesome build. I am a shade tree mechanic that has been wrenching on cars for 25 years and this woman figured out a lot of things in a very short time frame. You go girl 🤗👍
Just a note: if you cut round pieces of mesh rubber cupboard shelving lining you can put it in between your bowls & plates & it softens the sound tremendously. Just a thought 💕
My grandfather Mike Slater was the founder and owner of commander motor home company. Even Some of my family worked on the assembly of these. Mom aunts and uncles. Sweet rig, safe travels!!
When I started researching van/RV living, I knew a van wasn't going to work full time. I've owned minivans for nearly 30 years, traveled and camped extensively, but those were just point to point trips. And so c class RVs looked like the best fit for me, my dog, my cat and my stuff. And then my bubble was burst at the cost. THEN I saw this video, and it was the first time I saw an extensive remodel on an affordable "vintage" (really nice word for old) RV. It is gorgeous, the process was fascinating, and I also believe I can do it. So I'm saving up for the remodel cost, and plan to start seriously craigslisting in the spring. Thanks so much for sharing!
when my travel trailer leaked, I took the opportunity to replace the floor and change up the layout. I didn't know how to fix the leak and found it was leaking from several areas, basically needed new roof. All the work I did on the floor was pointless if there is still leak and rotting roof with mold smell. Ended up selling it uncompleted for 800 bucks. Insurance estimated it at 6500 but since I had started reparing it before contacting them they didn't cover it. Thanks a lot USAA.
She’s amazing!!! I admire her and this build is perfect!!! I can just imagine lounging in that bed with my kitties around me!!! With the window and the beautiful scenery!!! Just awesome!!! I have 4 kids now but maybe one day!!!
She did that👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 I am so impressed. For her to have not done anything like this before. She's got me so pumped I'm ready to build a tiny house....... Or something💜
This is so cool. I don't know why, but I've been drawn to these videos lately, of converted buses/RVs. It's so fun to imagine what it might be like to actually live in a place like that.
Experience taught me that constantly changing fuel filters meant my gas tanks were rusting. I had them cleaned and sprayed inside.... Haven't needed a new filter since, four years.
All vehicles still require changing filters. If only moderately clogged or bogged down with water makes less flow, pump works harder and mileage goes down. If cold, may even freeze up, making very hard to start. So it is still a good idea, to change periodically. Not good for engine, to wait until it won't run.

This has to be one of my absolute favorite tiny home/RV videos! To see how much you accomplished with little previous experience is both inspirational and a great reminder that sometimes life is about deciding what you want to do and trusting that you are capable of making it happen. How I wish I had found your level of confidence at that age! Thank you for sharing your project. I just loved hearing about all of the skills that you learned, and seeing how well all of your hard work paid off! On separate note, have you considered embracing your creative solution to the hardware holes in your upper cabinets and painting the wood pieces in your aqua accent color? Highlighting them might even add to the fun vintage atmosphere that you've created. Wishing you, Mander, and the kitties all of the best on your adventures! 💚
Wow, you did a great job fixing up Mander. You are really courageous getting out there with just yourself and your cats. What an inspiration. True example of living large while living tiny.
You did an excellent job of rebuilding Mander! I was really impressed with your great ideas. Its amazing what we are capable of if we take the plunge. We also live full time in an RV and Id like to share a tip. My best tip is to use Museum Gel, it only takes a penny sized piece to affix things to your counters. You pinch out a little ball and roll it in your fingers it then sticks and slowly spreads under whatever you want on your counters. I even use it for small houseplants, baskets and pump bottles. When you want to move it you just pull up the object and roll your fingers on the gel and it rolls right off leaving no damage. We travel with things on our counters without fear of them falling. Museum Gel is available on Amazon and a single jar lasts for a long time and many uses. I hope this tip helps someone out. Another tip is to cut pieces of cardboard and place them between noisy dishes to quiet them on the road. Cheryl
Cheryl, Excellent tip. I too have used it in my shadow boxes. A tip for the those on the road, that are unable to get the museum gel, the RV repair places, as well as home center stores, will always have that door sealing putty on a role, like rolls of tape come. Try it out, it works well, has dual purpose and is easy on the pocketbook.
Excellent tips. I had never heard of Museum Gel before. Now, I know! And when she mentioned the noise of clattering dishes, I too thought, Wrap them in something. Your cardboard tip probably more time efficient, and accomplish same anticlatter objective.
It's always a good thing to see young people working toward what the really want. This woman knew what she wanted and set out to fulfill her need to wander. I am impressed with her thrift and ingenuity. Great results 👍.
I wish this movement had been around when I was younger. Great job and keep us posted...you have a wonderful heart and mind and are a lovely young lady. 🤗🤗🤗
Love it! Very inspiring to see a fellow woman with no prior experience in carpentry or electrical work just jump into a project like this. You did a wonderful job and tip of my hat to you for having pets in your space as well!
Young lady, fantastic build and great repurposing of materials. Give yourself some credit, you have done wonders with an OLD RV. You have probably added another 15 to 20 years to its life. You know you have done well, You have a great spirit, and you are free. I look forward to watching your channel and watching your grow.
I too am a Mighty Minnesotan and doing the RV living journey. I own a nice piece of property here in Central Minn. and live here fulltime. I applaud you for your courage and strength to live somewhat alone and travel in your RV. I wish you luck in all your travels. STAY SAFE!!! I enjoyed your video and you gave me some good ideas on RV living . Its all about space and how best to use it. Thank you!
This chick inspires me so much. She's so knowledgable and made a really beautiful and well thought out rv. I bought a fixer upper rv for 800 bucks that I've been working on and constantly feeling uninspired about, but this gives me tons of ideas. Great job!!!
You & Mander are beautiful duo! You both are resilient & very unique. This is what I love to watch people finding treasures & bringing it back to life. It’s their heart sweats & tears poured into a project
What an inspiration she is! I love what she has done with her RV! I admire her creativity .... from the clever use of the dishwasher holder to the lovely macrame/ crochet items .... just really well done! Thanks for sharing with us 😊
I grew up in this exact model with my family in southern and Northern California in the late 70s-80s I know this floor plan like the back of my hand and use to sit in that shag carpet area between the captain chairs between my hippie parents passing the doobies back and forth lol 😂 ! Brought so many beautiful memories back . What an amazing job you did updating it ! Love it so much , this is my dream !!!
@Chad Conley - Hippies don't believe in Heaven and hell. But no matter what, you shouldn't be giving drugs to your kids. Keep your filthy habit to yourselves. If they want to smoke it when thy grow up, let them make the choice as an adult to be a burnout. Giving your kid a potent drug like THC is child abuse. I bet no one would be bragging if mom and pops shared a tobacco smoke with their kids...whole different story there, right? People who are so brainwashed they think marijuana is actually good for them outside a clinical setting are morons who piss me off.
FrankiesFancy , You obviously didn’t read what was written. She never said she was giving it she said they passed it back-and-forth. Perhaps you’ve been drinking too much inebriating libations? Just commenting and asking nothing negative here.
She is just lovely. Her attitude, determination, perseverance are commendable. Want to do this myself. I'm 40 so I guess I should hurry, lol. Trying to figure out the best way to support myself on the road. Got to have money.
She is truly an amazing and inspiring woman! Smart, well spoken, brave, adventurous, beautiful, fun and hard working! Wishing her a happy, healthy and fulfilling life!
You're amazing! I wish I could have found a woman like you 50 years ago. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face.
I'm gonna be completely honest here . The more I heard her talk about the details of the R/V , I kept on checking the title of the video , thinking that this was a couples video until I started noticing she kept referring the R/V as a "She" and until when I saw those photos of her putting in that work on the R/V. Huge respect . And a huge reminder to never judge a book by its cover .
I'm so proud of you for jumping in with no previous experience and learning along the way. I did the same with my house renos and after living here for 12 years I'm looking forward to getting on the road fulltime. Watching videos like yours gives me the confidence I can do that too!
This is a fantastic build! She had a great vision of the layout of "Mander". (Love the nickname) She could give RV manufacturers tips on design and layout. Her bathroom is brilliant. Thank you for sharing this Chris. It looks like over a 100K other people have enjoyed this video.
I've got to hand it to this young lady. I love her just-do-it attitude, and she has an incredible ability to problem solve and come up with some very creative solutions. And, what a great job she did on converting/improving this motor home! Great segment - thanks for sharing.
Very good narrative and video. Refur. and repair to fit your needs. Nice personnel touches. For every tear and moments you cryed, The smiles and memories you have, already show as you spoke say more about you and what you are getting out of Mander. My tip my hat off to you. beautiful strong willed lady . Not many out here like anymore. You found a lemon, now enjoying your lemonade

Wow! I love what you’ve done with your RV. You are tenacious and I like that you persevered through the struggles. You should be very happy with what you’ve done it’s adorable and very unique
I like your attitude towards doing something hard. I’m 67, just bought a 1972 camper that needs a complete reno and your words have given me strength. Thank you! ❤️
LEAD BELLY depends on the cat. I have one who is terrified of the outdoors and another that is constantly running out the back door. These cats look very content, and for all you know, she could be letting them out from time to time
Jessy, you are creative, resourceful, strong and adventurous! Thank you for taking us through your RV home journey! Great view! Rose, from Minnesota :)
I have a nomadic spirit but had to put it off for so long due to life stuff. Now I am 40 something empty nester and I want to fulfill that dream/desire. Money is tight but I can make this happen. You inspire me. You are a true boss babe! What a story behind an RV rebuild💙

Definitely want to travel, but my ultimate goal is to purchase land in the mountains and build on it, then learn to live off the land. I love how you jumped into it and learned as you went, as I'm very similar in nature in this regard! Congratulations to you fulfilling your dreams & really pioneering an incredible way of life available to all
Good show and very nice job on your baby, I bought a 78 26 foot Winnebago Brave (440 BB) with the same issues with 64,000 kilometers on it, changed old carburetor to edelbrock 750 electric choke and runs much better with 2 miles per gallon saving over old carb set up. Keep up that positive attitude, truck on and play safe.

Experience taught me that constantly changing fuel filters meant my gas tanks were rusting. I had them cleaned and sprayed inside.... Haven't needed a new filter since, four years.

Great thinking! Not to many people who are not mechanics would think to check the insides of the gas tank.

I love what she has done with this RV. What a capable person she is. She has made her dream come true with lots of hard work, I am very impressed.
Nico❣️
You & Mander are beautiful duo! You both are resilient & very unique. This is what I love to watch people finding treasures & bringing it back to life. It’s their heart sweats & tears poured into a project
What an inspiration she is! I love what she has done with her RV! I admire her creativity .... from the clever use of the dishwasher holder to the lovely macrame/ crochet items .... just really well done! Thanks for sharing with us 😊
You are to be commended for doing such a fantastic job, creating a lovely home for you and your kitties.
Pass the Dobbie !!! I rember these RVs in the 70 s too . We put a small TV in it
Great parenting...getting your kid stoned. Guess they were running from CPS.
@@FrankiesFancy Hahahaha!
Wow: you have courage, and I am admiring your spirit! Young folks are so awesome these days, and you are quite awesome. Thanks for sharing!!!
She is truly an amazing and inspiring woman! Smart, well spoken, brave, adventurous, beautiful, fun and hard working! Wishing her a happy, healthy and fulfilling life!
Very inspiring!! You've done an outstanding job young lady... Be safe out there!
There is no life without cats and comfort is paramount. Well done.
You're amazing! I wish I could have found a woman like you 50 years ago. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face.
Me too.
jimbooth3 That was sweet 👍
This deserves way more likes 💖
My the bartender always offer up a fresh pint before the current one is empty.
Are you sure it's really a female?
I'm gonna be completely honest here . The more I heard her talk about the details of the R/V , I kept on checking the title of the video , thinking that this was a couples video until I started noticing she kept referring the R/V as a "She" and until when I saw those photos of her putting in that work on the R/V.
Huge respect . And a huge reminder to never judge a book by its cover .
Yeh shes competent and hot. Wow
Having the scooter on the back is definitely the way forward.
I'm so proud of you for jumping in with no previous experience and learning along the way. I did the same with my house renos and after living here for 12 years I'm looking forward to getting on the road fulltime. Watching videos like yours gives me the confidence I can do that too!
Great personality and character, the RV as well as the lady. I tip my hat to you my dear, you’re an inspiration 👍👍👍
lil tiny home/camper tip: round the corners on any tables or work-surfaces that intrude into, or are near your walk ways, your thighs will thank me.
This is a fantastic build! She had a great vision of the layout of "Mander". (Love the nickname) She could give RV manufacturers tips on design and layout. Her bathroom is brilliant. Thank you for sharing this Chris. It looks like over a 100K other people have enjoyed this video.
Love her positive 'I can figure it out' attitude!
SO True that we never know what we are capable of until we try IT...LooKs Like Your doing IT! Good job!
I've got to hand it to this young lady. I love her just-do-it attitude, and she has an incredible ability to problem solve and come up with some very creative solutions. And, what a great job she did on converting/improving this motor home! Great segment - thanks for sharing.
I wld be a nervous wreck trying to problem solve
Very good narrative and video. Refur. and repair to fit your needs. Nice personnel touches. For every tear and moments you cryed, The smiles and memories you have, already show as you spoke say more about you and what you are getting out of Mander. My tip my hat off to you. beautiful strong willed lady . Not many out here like anymore. You found a lemon, now enjoying your lemonade
I’m so jealous! I’ve been wanting to go this route for a few years now. I restored a 77 westfallia vw when I was a bit younger. Really look forward to doing this. Yours is really nice! Thank you for sharing.
Really great job! Its very functional and how fun to travel in a house you built for really cheap and still have that vintage charm!

WOW! You are one impressive person. I love and admire what you have accomplished and how you are living. Thank you so much for taking the time to share.
She has the right idea, I want to get a scooter as well for my bus build
I really love your attitude and stubbornness. Getting into van travelling myself at the moment, and knowing someone started from scratch and made it through it all is great. Hopefully I can meet someone like you on the road to share troubles with as well! :D
Wow! I love what you’ve done with your RV. You are tenacious and I like that you persevered through the struggles. You should be very happy with what you’ve done it’s adorable and very unique
I love the way you enjoy your life. You know your passion. You are making the right choice to live better.
This is my favourite “tiny home” I’ve very seen. Has everything you could need and done so well
It was almost free too... #womensmovemrnt #fuckmen #gayandproud
I like your attitude towards doing something hard. I’m 67, just bought a 1972 camper that needs a complete reno and your words have given me strength. Thank you! ❤️
Kitty cat looks happy and cozy😊
LEAD BELLY depends on the cat. I have one who is terrified of the outdoors and another that is constantly running out the back door. These cats look very content, and for all you know, she could be letting them out from time to time
Jessy, you are creative, resourceful, strong and adventurous! Thank you for taking us through your RV home journey! Great view!
Rose, from Minnesota :)
The best bathroom area I've seen, so beautiful. The whole place has a lovely "feeling", so calm and cosy.
I have a nomadic spirit but had to put it off for so long due to life stuff. Now I am 40 something empty nester and I want to fulfill that dream/desire.
Money is tight but I can make this happen. You inspire me. You are a true boss babe! What a story behind an RV rebuild💙
The cats clearly appreciate the large moving house that you have made for them.
She should start her own youtube channel
Brazzers channel, dildo's
she has Patreon with videos on it and does IG stories pretty often.

@@jimmyoxway5950 AGAIN with the trash talk!!! AND another male!! How old are you, 12? Grow up!! No one respects someone with that kind of trash-talk. And no, I'm not a prude, just someone who doesn't have to use such words to make a point.
Outstanding job. I really admire the fact that she went into this project eyes wide open about how hard it might be and didn’t turn tail and run. Well done!
hi , Leroy here , I am totally impressed with your honestly ,you didn't try to hide issues you had with your rebuild house on wheel ..and to do most of the work yourself and work with what you had ….I call it girl power ...there,s a saying , go,s like this ...you cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear ..well you ve proved that you can ...ps love your house on wheels ...your number one fan .
my attention span is usually 10 mins ... where did that half hour go ... Great vid, cool bus mega interview..
This is a beautifully rebuilt home. Mander's life expectancy has been increased! Thank you for sharing, I subscribe and thumbs up!!!
This gal kicks ass! Awesome spirit! Love her kitties too!
This is really inspiring. I'm a young female living alone myself & been researching vehicle dwelling & van life for the last two years, & keep inching closer to my dream! Definitely want to travel, but my ultimate goal is to purchase land in the mountains and build on it, then learn to live off the land. I love how you jumped into it and learned as you went, as I'm very similar in nature in this regard! Congratulations to you fulfilling your dreams & really pioneering an incredible way of life available to all
You should be very proud of yourself. Great job. Going to save this video. Thanks
The cat was extremely CUTE. I wanted to give him a hug! 😋
@Fool OnTheHiLL simp🤧
Ken V I'll be upgrading my carb soon! Good to know it well for you! :)
A smart, resourceful and independent strong lady! Bravo.
I wonder how much she spent in renovations. I love how she took an older model and made it modern and homey.
With ingenuity and perseverance there is nothing we can’t achieve without envisioning then having the will power as well as an imagination to create! Great Job Jesse....NICE!
Thanks for watching Tim! Be safe out there!
You (all) as well Chris!

She's smart, a cat lover!, quirky, relatable, honest and constructive. Thanks for RV renovation ideas, and that scooter TIP.
And she journals/blogs legibly. I love reading a person's shared sunlit soul. Beautiful Personality. Inspiring and Adventurous.
I wouldn't travel with her to a foreign country though (Instagram post proposal), especially as the present world turns. America is Home, and fixable.
Here is a video uploaded just last month, in case you are interested in a follow up. 🤷🏼♂️
So it's been about two and a half years since this video:

She is amazing. Gives me hope that I could do a project like that.
Wow!! Well done lady!! You're a brilliant tryer 👏👏 thanks for the tour, it was epic! Xx
It's old, it's used, nobody wants it. "P E R F E C T !" Excellent video.
Super awesome job-Thanks for sharing the work-arounds and obstacles you ran into transforming Mander into a home for you and the kitties.
