I've never seen a layout like that before. Bedroom, living room, kitchen, guest room. I love it! I'm glad you found it. It suits you. Out of the rubble comes a beautiful flower :-)
Cory TheMoodyTraveler you must get about 6mpg lol put some headers on ole girl and glass packs lol WAKE THE NEIGHBORS and if some scumbag tries stealing this 1 you'll be able TO HEAR 👂🏻 HIM LEAVING LOL, it will help with the mpg too though 😉
Hi Cory, just a friendly reminder that you have to be extremely careful about old tires. Even if the tread is good, rubber ages just through being exposed to the air. if they are more than a few years old they can be dangerous at highway speed. Look for cracking on the sidewalls. I like the new interior layout!
Speaking of rubber, I'd recommend looking into the health of your cooling system. specificly all hoses and also check the radiator and water pump. You don't want cooling system issues on a hot day while climbing a mountain pass. You should be able to most of this work yourself. Some money spent now might avoid spending much more if something goes wrong.
As nice and comfortable as your other rv was, and we all saw how much work you and your step Dad put into it, and the journeys you enjoyed in it... I think your new Dodge RV is a great new adventure for you. What a great find. It is your silver lining to the whole terrible past event. Look forward to where you will take us. Kevin
That motor is going to be so easy to fix. So simple and basic. I'm 55 and remember working on old cars and going to Florida with my family in a RV just like that.
well just seeing this you can tell someone loved that rv and spent a lot of time effort and money to keep it looking nice for a 76 you defo found a good one treat it right and will last years to come
You got a great deal on that sweet R/V. I own a '88 Toyota Dolphin and love it. That was one reason I watched your adventures. I'm sorry for the loss of your Toyota, but I'll continue watching you. Have some awesome trips and be safe.
You handled that whole tragic misfortune so well and came out with your spirit intact. The new rig looks awesome, can't wait to see what you do with it.
What a nice set up you have. Some tragedies turn into blessings. Sorry for the pain of having to report a theft and search for another replacement but this is really nice.
Thanks for the tour, clean rig !! The shell counter top is def stock, My class "A" had that too. also the slide out "pantry" very handy, holds a lot. Painting tip: use Insul-X brand "Cabinet Coat" paint, a lil expensive but well worth it, Cut-in the edges with a brush and roll the rest with a foam 4" roller. It will come out looking like you sprayed it. It will take 3 or 4 coats, but well worth the effort. If you're near north Florida I'll help you paint it.
I think you got a good deal on the Cobra. The Cobra class C's were considered a top of the line RV back then. My parents built their first RV back then and used the Cobra as a pattern. I remember they had issues lighting the frig on propane too. It would have either wind blowing out the pilot light or the striker flint would wear out.
sup dude! video does better than photos!! thanks for being so chill with everything. Dude the new pad looks sweet! let me know if you want, a hand with whatever. I can be available most weekends, plus the drive is worth it
Excellent ride. You can add the base to the seats to make them rotate. I would look into changing out the rear end fluid make sure that is healthy before you take to the road. Hit all the grease fittings older rides like that have plenty places you have to lube. Drive shaft steering components etc even the steering wheel has a U joint for you to grease.
I hate what happened to your old RV. With that being said I think you will enjoy the extra space and the floor plan in the new RV a little more. It's a nice looking RV!
Glad you were able to get a new Rv! Safe travels. Look into Lojack for this new van if you like added security. Its a bit expensive, but you will have lifetime protection and tracking for your car. My cousin's van was stolen and recovered bc he had Lojack
if you open up the area where your refrigerator is on the outside and the there's of metal bracket that goes over your igniter free refrigerator. check that out and make sure there's not a buildup of rust flakes around it or above it that will check out your gas and stuff your igniter from igniting to use your refrigerator with propane there's a couple videos on here on RUclips it'll show you how to clean it
Cory The Moody traveler check out Pippi Peterson video about her RV fridge not cooling she does a step by step on how she cleaned out the rust flakes just like she said if she can do it anybody can do it and there's a couple other things that can be checked out if that doesn't take care of the issue the problem is a lot of people go into RV places and say hey my refrigerator doesn't work and they say oh well you need a new one but in all actuality it's just the easy fix on most of them but they want to sell you the big high-dollar products so good luck and make sure you post a video when you get it fixed so we all know it's okay
Man that is awesome, jam up dude ! :-) That one has so much more and it's great for you to have a bigger one as tall as you are. I would put the very best of alarm systems in it, before I spent anything else. You were totally blessed Cory, and I wish you to have much more success and blessings, from my wife and I, .May God bless you and keep you safe always. :-) - Matthew and Mattie :-)
+Matthew thank you very much Mr Matthew! I feel very similar about being blessed with this new rig and I will be shopping around for the best alarms and security systems here very soon!
I've never seen a layout like that before. Bedroom, living room, kitchen, guest room. I love it! I'm glad you found it. It suits you. Out of the rubble comes a beautiful flower :-)

Cory TheMoodyTraveler you must get about 6mpg lol put some headers on ole girl and glass packs lol WAKE THE NEIGHBORS and if some scumbag tries stealing this 1 you'll be able TO HEAR 👂🏻 HIM LEAVING LOL, it will help with the mpg too though 😉
dang man that thing is sweet! I'm so glad you were able to get a new one, and such an upgrade!
Into The Mystery 13 yeah man, it is a beast! hope all is well homie
that rear door and floor plan are unique i really like it and cobra has a solid rep, good for you man , so happy things are looking up .
Kurt M. I think Thor motor coach absorbed there parent company awhile ago
When the EMP strikes you'll be golden. No systems to be fried in a 1976 vehicle. Awesome ride.

+Gonagain yep, already have the replacements on the list! I learned my lesson long ago about the dangers of tires with the blowout on the Toyota

wow.. i love it. i cant believe how beautiful it is in shape!
That motor is going to be so easy to fix. So simple and basic. I'm 55 and remember working on old cars and going to Florida with my family in a RV just like that.
This is a nice older example of a well made RV. Newer is not always better. The old gal deserves a quality restoration.
Very cool! Having a 440...priceless! Mopar guys will be in awe of it. It's crying out "take me to Cruisin the Coast" in Oct. lol
Nice rig, you have all the comforts of home. Very nice!
Your new rv is sweet! You got a great deal. Looking forward to your next adventures!
beyond happy for you dude. even better that this one has a full bathroom so you can have the convenience of it being right near your sleeping area
That RV is an amazing find. I am extremely envious.
That's a sharp RV fit a 76! I like the layout, best of luck!
looks like it has been garaged...congratulations and thanks for sharing in your good fortune
That is one sweet little RV! Really cool floorplan too. Gotta love those vintage units. I hope it serves you well.
well just seeing this you can tell someone loved that rv and spent a lot of time effort and money to keep it looking nice for a 76 you defo found a good one treat it right and will last years to come
Now, that's an upgrade! much bigger than the other!
You got a great deal on that sweet R/V. I own a '88 Toyota Dolphin and love it. That was one reason I watched your adventures. I'm sorry for the loss of your Toyota, but I'll continue watching you. Have some awesome trips and be safe.

Whoa! That layout is awesome: I really like this RV. I don't think they make them like this anymore.
Thanks for the tour, clean rig !! The shell counter top is def stock, My class "A" had that too. also the slide out "pantry" very handy, holds a lot.
