Hey man super random but I have a 1974 tradesmen 200 van that was outfitted as a camper that’s very similar to yours I was wondering if when you got it it had a main starter battery and a house battery in the rear already connected? Would by chance that house battery be what you connected your solar panel to? I tried doing that and have run into that weird issue that my systems only work when I have the ignition turned to the accessory position which isnt ideal
Hey, that is a weird issue. The house battery in our van is on a totally separate circuit from the starter battery. Basically the house battery runs the lights and fan in the house part and the starter motor runs the engine, wipers, headlights, etc. All the house wiring is custom and runs straight to the battery fuses so it’s not connected at all to the van systems. Don’t think that was helpful to your situation, but that’s how ours is done.
How to really cool camper van I like that man now that's my style of the van to travel in I'm impressed with everything you have done awesome 😊😊😊
Right on! Thanks
Love your camper van! Excellent and very clever use of space. Well done! Thanks for the tour.
