I have a 1977 Dodge Mallard class C. I have completely upgraded to solar everything runs off of batteries lithium and solar panels. One thing people don't realize when they look at a vehicle like this is that all the parts are 44 45 years old! We replace just about everything on the engine. And throughout the whole vehicle from the rear end to every hose and every electrical thing it's not like you can trust these things they're just so old I learned this but it's okay it's all good now.
@7:06 "Original wheels?" pointing to aftermarket hubcap/simulator 😆. Nevertheless, this RV is a cool relic from the past. @7:20 rear 'cap' on this one is fiberglass, but some had the curved/multi-piece riveted aluminum cap like you see on Airstream trailers
Have you ever done the front wheel bearings?..was wondering if you know the part #s for them, i went to the auto parts but the one they gave me was not the right one, they said that was supposed to be the only one they showed ?...any info would be greatly appreciated -thanks
We had a Silver Streak motor home that my parents ordered from Cali back in 1978. They had to fly out to pick it up. As an 18 yr old I found it easy to drive like a car. Ours was longer than this model and slept 7. The table in ours was in the back where the bathroom is in this one.
Alwsome ! I’ve always liked the class C . Motor homes .For one it’s all contained.

That's an extra nice one
That was the refrigerator, not the hot water heater...
Sometimes it is hard for us Martians to distinguish 😁

What do you think of the claim of only 4 in existence?
I have a 1979
We had a Titan.
Very nice - I have seen it on the consignment posting - craigslist. Market it across the nation !

Question is ? Do ya still have it ? Peace ✌️
That's a 77. In 78 dodge remodeled the van. So maybe a 78 coach on a 77 chassis
Typical one year lapse of chassis to build year. I have a 78 nex gen chassis 440ci 163" WB model Class C built out and titled in 79.
