    I’ve been using this for two years but I only cover my rosacea with it. For the rest of my face I use more affordable Korean sunscreens. And to save money, wait for the summer and Black Friday sales and stock up.

    • @airamsipuola5045
      @airamsipuola5045 Год назад

      Would you mind sharing whether you have dry, oily, combo or normal skin, and what kind of finish it had when dry? I too have rosacea and I've only tested this on a small part of my face while at Sephora; I found it a bit shiny, I wonder if playing around with it (letting it dry, adding some powder, etc) would help?

    • @maureengreen617
      @maureengreen617 Год назад +10

      @@airamsipuola5045 Sure! I'm 65 with dry and reactive sensitive skin. If anything, I find the finish on this to be a little matte, so my experience is the opposite of yours. If I use it on my entire face, I get a little "green" because only my cheeks and nose are red. The rest of my face is typical color. I use Korean sunscreen elsewhere on my face because they seem more moisturizing than the Dr. Jart. But for color correcting my rosacea, there's nothing better for me. Best of luck in your search!

      @@ElvenSkywalker Sure! My favorite is Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel. Also, Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun, favored by Dr. Dray. I like Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel from Japan. I like the one from Birch Juice but the packaging is in Korean and I can't translate the title. :) Lastly, Mary and Kay Cica Soothing Sun Cream. All of these were purchased on Stylevanna and they all have an spf of 50. Good luck!

  • @sampydampy
    @sampydampy Год назад +31

    I cannot suggest this personally, it was really heavy, overpriced, oddly textured, and looked unnaturally pale for my face tone/shade (pale/sickly/grey undertones). I would not suggest buying online until you tried it in stores (Sephora carries it). The price is absurd, 21-52 USD. The filter in this video does not compare to what it actually looks like in person (as someone who's used it, unflattering). I bought into the hype when it was circulating a while back, and working on soothing my skin barrier with skincare with other tips from Dr. Idriss and others helped much more.

    • @sodotta
      @sodotta Год назад +10

      just for context: the app "tiktok" uses a system where these filters get more views (they are promoted automatically to more people). it is unfair but i understand if this video is originally from tiktok, and that is why she uses the filter, anyway it seems like she has the filter on a low setting; her natural doesn't look too dissimilar to this video. hope this helped?

      You can't turn off the filters on Tik Tok. U know because I've turned them all off, and yet I can still SEE them on me. Some phones also have blurring filters built in to their camera app. I doubt she's doing this on purpose.

      @@beyobestbeauty if I were you, I'd just get a cheaper cica product or color corrector and a cheaper sunscreen, though! This is so expensive!

    I hate this cream. It pills on my skin and it does not feel good on my face.

    I saw this product on your Saturday video. It worked great, just a little pricey for such a little jar.

    Dr. Jart = 👎🏼. Why would you recommend such an expensive, fragrance laden sunscreen? It’s up to the fng point nobody can afford sunscreen that’s elegant.

    Worst product ever I got, total garbage ! It seats like a mask and made my skin super oily and reapplying this cream is a nightmare . I couldn’t finish it , so many regrets I bought it thanks for influencers 😡

    Note to people with sensitive skin - it has essential oils so be careful with usage, doc may have forgotten to mention this

    My skin could not breath with this sh*t on my face. And it sure does look cakey. Smelly and over priced. I rushed home just to wash it off. Returned!!
