- Scott and Kim give Elvie his first look at their custom Green Valley Rancher from Meadowlark Log Homes. Our company assembled this single level log home a few years ago and are currently in production back at Meadowlark for their single level Trout Creek Log Home which will be their main residence higher up on the hill.
Join Elvie, Scott and Kim as they look through the house and Elvie gets to see it for the very first time and show it to our viewers. It is a fantastic customized cabin and the main difference is the porch is on the other long side of the home and there is no front porch at the gable end. Other than that it’s similar to the Green Valley Rancher on the website.

I love these cabins, but I always seem like they need more closet and cupboard space. A laundry room and pantry would be great additions as well.

I love all of the log homes that I have seen from Amish Meadows. You do quality work & never fail to give the customer what they want. I would love to see a log mansion with a green tin roof & large custom made 'wagon wheel window' in the great room! I love wagon wheel decor, I have seen one incorporated in dining room table with a round glass top, coffee tables, end tables & even in chairs, sofa, headboard, etc, etc. If I ever buy a large log cabin, that is how I would decorate it. It would not be complete without green & cream colored log cabin QUILTS for the beds & loft.

Where's the bathroom...no size mentioned on cabin size
There is a bathroom connected to the bedroom and the cabin size is 24’x32’.
The foundation is way too low, the bottom logs gonna start to rot soon after a few winters...
We put varnish on the logs to keep them from rotting
