    Loved the approach into KPWK. Cool to see my home airport through someone else's windscreen.

      I bought the Hotstart TBM900 about a week ago....LOVE IT, it is amazing! By far the best add on for X Plane 11. Def a must if you are an avid simmer.

    Great stuff Jason, nice narration and annotation. We love Sedona too... Hope I can land on the USS Arizona one of these days! Did you stay at the motel there at the airport?

      No, ended up in town, but it was an interesting setup on the mesa with that sort-of resort right by the airport!

    You sound like you've settled in to the TBM- I recall those nervy early videos. How many hours now.

    • @JasonFlies
      @JasonFlies  5 лет назад +3

      I still get plenty jazzed up for each flight, no matter the plane, but definitely getting more comfortable in the TBM - just hit 300 hours in it

    Nice vid again.
    Have a little question. Which app has you on your tablet for checklists? Will it for fly the Hotstart TBM. Best regards Daniel.

      From other videos I think he uses Foreflight Checklist. you need a foreflight subscription for it.

    • @kurtisf3366

      He is one of the founders of Foreflight, so I’m pretty sure he’s using that.

    • @jefflarcher5627

      did not know that, but effectively he is, so it is a pretty good deduction ;)

    No VOR head on the plane?

    • @JasonFlies
      @JasonFlies  5 лет назад

      Yeah, has that and we used it as well, excellent point!

  • @kenbrand8972

    Why just 200 knots even at 30 thousand to much wind?

    • @JasonFlies
      @JasonFlies  4 года назад +1

      That is Indicated Airspeed, so is not our actual speed across the ground. This plane shows groundspeed on the MFD (middle screen) --- ~310kts typically, depending on winds aloft.

    • @kenbrand8972
      @kenbrand8972 4 года назад +1

      Oh I see now of course. 310kts is much better

    I like your comments, but your camera work needs more patience, especially the shots of the instrument panel. Before the viewer even gets a glimpse of orientation you pull away.
