    Stephen Hayden is a great sweet fiddle player. One of the best in this country

    Cathal's definitely in gdae tuning here, and the first tune is "rose in the heather," but i'm not sure about the others :(

    I can handle trad fast when musicians are capable of it,,, can’t stand all these ones that want it fast and wreckless, with half the notes left out,,, and blunders everywhere ,,, and we hear it very often ,,, they should really leave trad alone,,, destroying it,,, this is class and driving as I’d expect from such a brilliant bunch of fine musicians,,, great stuff 👏👏👏👏👏👏

      It's actually called Twilight in Portroe. The Dawn is a different tune altogether.

      You're so lucky! My Great Grandfather was a fiddle player. He worked the railway, but he would make his money for drinks playing the fiddle in pubs.

      playing fast in fleadh Ceoils gets marked down 7 marks playing fast does not make you a great player to the expert
