    Thank you! I just came across your Ravelry pattern page for this. I love the easy-to-memorize repeats and the exfoliating effect of the stitch pattern. Great video! Oh, and Hi!! 👋

    Since you type in the pattern to this page, why not add a PDF file to Ravelry with the pattern in it? I can't be the only knitter who doesn't need to watch a video to knit a dishcloth - Just give me the pattern! And thank you very much for the pattern - I haven't seen this stitch before.

      Thanks, @sandeleh! And it is so coincidental that you mentioned PDF on Ravelry. I actually was trying just that last night (I am MsKnittycatsKnits on Ravelry). But Ravelry did not give me an option to add my PDF as a free pattern. I struggled for a couple hours and then emailed Ravelry Help but no response. For now, I've added the pattern there with a link to this YT video but sure would love to upload it to Ravelry as a Free PDF download. Hoping Ravelry will sort this out for me soon but be great to know of any tips/info in how to upload if you know of any. Thanks and best wishes!😊

      @@KnittycatsKnits Great minds think alike, eh? I'm sorry I'm not a designer, so I'm not sure how to upload your pdf to Rav. I bet there are step-by-step instructions in their Wiki, tho. And I'm sure that someone at Rav will be back to help you out. There are a lot of different help forums on Rav - that might be a faster way to get a response.

      Thanks,@@sandeleh Sadly, I have looked at all the Wiki instructions and several RUclips videos on the issue and was not able to fix it (no one address how to create a Pro account, at least not one I could find and the Designer's Wiki doesn't so much good). Also, frustrated a bit since no reply on my email to Rav. Still hoping someone will...In the meantime, I will continue to add my pattern details in the Video Description dropdown field (so, if you access video via a computer/laptop, you can copy/paste the text and access the pattern that way for now). Am working on creating my website and hope to have my free patterns posted there soon. Stay tuned (:

      I've added your pattern to the Rav database under Knittycat's Knits. You can upload the pdf file by clicking on your rav avatar in the upper right corner of your screen and choosing your designer page. Follow the instructions.

      Hi @@sandeleh, thanks so much for adding the pattern. I had actually already added both patterns. Looks like you added the pattern to "Knittycatsknits" account but that is actually not my current account. My current account (member as of Aug 2019) is actually "MsKnittycatsKnits" and it is this account that I'd like to have as a Designer. I am just wondering how you found this other "Knittycatsknits" account to add it to. I found the patterns you added (they show up when I search "Knittycatsknits" in Designers tab). However, I am still not able to upload the pdf file by clicking on my Rav avatar at the top right corner (bec that Rav account is for "MsKnittycatsKnits" and I don't have access to this other "Knittycatsknits" account; still not sure how you found this other account and what were you steps but would be great to know. You mentioned "Follow the instructions" but I didn't see anything past that in your note, so be great if you could provide a link or further info on which instructions. In the meantime though, I greatly appreciate your adding these 2 patterns in such as way that Rav users are able to at least discover them. This whole Rav thing is getting a bit too complicated for tech-challenged me and I think I might just end up starting afresh with a brand new account (unfortunately, I won't even let me pick "KnittycatsKnits" as a username name bec of that older account, which I can't access and therefore can't even delete...sigh). Thanks again! I'd be happy to direct message (email you) if you email me at knittycatsknits@gmail.com and again, thanks so much for your help and support! Best wishes!

    Confused: the pattern reads to purl the last 4 rows. Shouldn’t I knit them to match the bottom of the cloth? 🤨

    • @KnittycatsKnits
      @KnittycatsKnits  9 месяцев назад +2

      Good question, @solangekeller5887. The reason why I chose to Purl the ending border is so that after the last Row 1 & 2 repeat. the very next Row on the right side will show the purl bumps and I thought that looked like it was matching the spacing to the bottom border. But I don't think it will matter too much if you choose to knit the end rows instead. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching and best wishes for your project! Hope you enjoy knitting it as much as I did😊

      @robertataggart5989 That's awesome. I love knitting dishcloths. They are quick and easy and you can never have enough (I use some as trivets under my cats' water/food bowls). Thanks and best wishes!
