hyundai is the most exciting brand right now hands down. the VN was a good start, the elantra n perfected that formula, the Kona n gave us a practical option, and now we are getting an electric and a hydrogen powered track car. On top of all the great choices they have for regular vehicles, idk why people would look anywhere else
Hyundai, who would of thought? I remember when they first showed up on our shores here in NZ. No one could even pronounce their name. Today they own the roads.
THIS is what I was waiting for. Tesla was never on my radar, because it never appealed to me. But this does. Also I'm warming up to EV's atm. I can't wait to see more of these on the roads.
If this is the calibre coming out then I am interested but I am with you Telsa is/was the stepping stone into mass acceptance for EVs but they are just..... yawn. Plus most people who have one are intolerable haha
I did enjoy this video! Thanks, love your content, you have become my go to car review channel. Keep up the great work, shout out to Igor and the behind the scenes team too, those second row seats sometimes need adjusting 😃
love your work Paul. It would be really useful to get a weight number reported at the same time as the HP/torque figures (and a kw per kg). That way the consumer can compare more easily. Anyway, keep up the great content.
Hyundai has basically decided to turn the EV world completely on it head. The Ioniq 5 is already on the market, Ioniq 6 will be releasing soon, Ioniq 7 should be ready at some point next year. The thing I absolutely love the most. Even though all of these cars use the same electric platform, they look vastly different from each other (unlike tesla) As for the N Vision 74, it would very cruel of Hyundai to tease us with this test vehicle and not put it into production 😥
Yeah, if we could still have a car in the future I really don't mind loosing the internal combustion engine with electric cars like this. Love the shifting idea👍
Nice to see this review, coming from a Telsa Model 3 LR with performance pack, the Ioniq 6 I have now is massive step up in comfort and actually feeling more like a car rather than an appliance. Cant wait for this 6 N :)
N is killing it. I drove bmw m240i and Elantra N on the track, surprisingly I had way more blast with the N. Maybe it’s because it wasn’t a full M car but N was impressive
I actually like the ioniq 6 design better than the ioniq 5. Only 1 thing I would change on the 6 is the wheel design, the production version look heavy and the design is to busy for my taste. Make these wheels and the wing from concept available for the production version and this thing will be a beast!
I know it’s popular to crap on performance EV’s but I like this Hyundai. The styling looks great and the rear end is giving me Back to the Future/ Blade Runner vibes. I hope some of the rear end styling bits make it to the production vehicle.
I'm with you. How much speed and momentum do you sacrifice letting a human do the shifting? I have driven a number of Audi/VW products equipped DSG/Shiftronic (automatic transmissions), and they always shift faster, better, and more efficiently than a human possibly could in their manual counterparts--naturally yielding better race/track times. I could also do without the outdoor speakers blaring the artificial ICE exhaust sounds. I don't like the look of this either. If they could put this powertrain in the shell of that Hydrogen powered car in this video, that would be so much better.
If only Emula, which already used a technology that is practically identical to the one used on the RN22e already 3 years ago, got the same relevance and interest... Also the guys of 2electron who created it are working on a Tesla right now, they're making it exactly as this car!
Damn man, Paul made it seem the car was very drive able, so that it must definitely have been driver error that crashed this prototype. Driver must've been drunk or high or something, his racing lines before the crash were very far off and late.
As always a great video Paul but I must be the only person to think this looks awful. Looks to me like the offspring of a Taycan and a first series CLS Mercedes. Mark my words, this will not age well!
Eight out of 10 electric vehicles sold in the U.S. will no longer receive subsidies from next year. Crisis for domestic cars such as Hyundai and Kia, opportunity for Japanese brands such as Toyota, Nissan and Honda !!!!!!!!!!!!! O.M.G@@@

Right on!
MÜTHİŞ BİR OTOMOBİL YAPMIŞ ADAMLAR BRAVOOO TEBRİKLER...
Hyundai are killing it with electric, electric / hydrogen lets hope these concept's come to market, great review
Fingers crossed!
Fr, hyundai is now my favorite car company !
@@CarExpertAus in 5 to 10 years all these cars will be the norm.
Can't wait for this to release. I'm leasing a 6 SEL, and this thing is FUN to drive. I can't imagine the N!
Hyundai, who would of thought?
I remember when they first showed up on our shores here in NZ.
No one could even pronounce their name.
Today they own the roads.
Very true!
Own the roads..... FKN Lmao.
Hyundai sold more cars this year than Toyota did in the States.
To be fair though: Most people still don't know how to pronounce, I know because I'm one lmao
N vision 74 and rn22e are awesome machines I really hope Hyundai put both of them in production and keep the same looks hopefully.
N74 is awesome I only wish it is bigger, at least with spaceefor 5 people
The fact that it has a gearbox and makes a sound makes it instantly more appealing to me (as a petrol head) than silent evs with no gears.
The sounds and “gears” seemed surprisingly effective. Better than silence (for performance cars)
Definitely a cool concept!
Didn't people Boo when dodge did something like this 😂?
I drive an EN and seeing both the RN22e and N Vision 74 is really exciting! could be my next upgrade !! 😁
That gears are awesome, arguably the most badass looking EV today. Kudos to Hyundai
I agree I really hope Hyundai put both of these cars in production with the same looks hopefully.
Love what Hyundai are doing! Got an i20N at the moment and love it,and now with these concepts the future looks good aswell!
Yep - they are definitely going hard on N and now trying to do the same with EV, which is really cool!
The headlights look much better than the original car

Tesla starts rattling and squeaking after 3000 miles but Marketing consumer awareness in their branding is far superior than any EV brands out there.
drive a 3 performance. you wont look at anything else.
This, with a battery half the weight
The Taycan finally has competition!
I did enjoy this video! Thanks, love your content, you have become my go to car review channel. Keep up the great work, shout out to Igor and the behind the scenes team too, those second row seats sometimes need adjusting 😃
Thanks mate!
simple explanations have been the reason I watch your shows
This is how fake sound should like. Unlike the dodge ev
Exactly!!
love your work Paul. It would be really useful to get a weight number reported at the same time as the HP/torque figures (and a kw per kg). That way the consumer can compare more easily. Anyway, keep up the great content.
Oh how I wish Hyundai made e/motorcycles, thanks for the look at what’s to come in performance EV’S.
😁
I’ve got the i30 sedan N and once this comes out I’ll be trading in. Rm22 is my favourite by far
I love this car, even more than the 74
Hyundai is silently making extraordinary beautiful car.
Hyundai are just hitting one home run after another.....they're absolutely on fire at the moment
That vision 74.. gives the look of the classic drift car the AE86 with a Audi front end❤️
Looking promising with the new generation N vehicles coming from Hyundai. Eagerly awaiting release for the Australian market. :)
Should be good fun when it finally goes on sale!
Hyundai is becoming a leader in performance cars now, love it ❤️❤️❤️
If this actually comes out, I might have to consider trading in my GRY for it.
I watched this video too many times already I'm in love! This is coming from a guy who have owned several V8 vehicles!
It even sounds good!
Something different for an EV!

I just bought an Elantra N. This will be my first electric car.
The sound and the gearbox just adds so much more character to the car. Hyundai are doing what tesla should've been doing from the start
The sound is very futuristic 🤌🏽⚡️
no one ever thot hyundai would go this far 10 years ago
I have a 2024 Ioniq 6 limited. I will 100% trade it in for a Ioniq 6N. Can't wait to see it
Yeah, if we could still have a car in the future I really don't mind loosing the internal combustion engine with electric cars like this.
Love the shifting idea👍

Paul u forgot to tell this... this is the exact spec in the Ioniq5N... coming out in two months
N is killing it. I drove bmw m240i and Elantra N on the track, surprisingly I had way more blast with the N. Maybe it’s because it wasn’t a full M car but N was impressive
I love how the sound is like a spaceship.
This looks amazing
This car is REAL 💪🏻🔥😎 electric POWER!.
Buying this Defnitely.
First Hyundai car I want to buy!!!
Is that exhaust sound coming from a speaker? Or the actual electric motors?
Speaker for exhaust sound and motors for the interior stuff. But it had no padding inside so I’m sure it’d be much quieter for the production car.
Any idea when it will be arriving in Aus? Price?? Love your work! Keep ‘em coming 👍
When EVs first came out, I strongly hated them, but I’m starting to like them a little.
I don’t like the overly droopy back end but otherwise seems like a great car. 74 is fire.
My next car hands down and wont take a lick of GAS!!!!! N Sound!
Hyundai HAS TO produce and sell this exact sled in the US market. Stat.
I actually like the ioniq 6 design better than the ioniq 5. Only 1 thing I would change on the 6 is the wheel design, the production version look heavy and the design is to busy for my taste. Make these wheels and the wing from concept available for the production version and this thing will be a beast!
I swear,the ioniq 5N will be mine 😄
Damn, I want one.
Sound and gears! Good work Hyundai💪👍.
This actually looks really cool
I know it’s popular to crap on performance EV’s but I like this Hyundai. The styling looks great and the rear end is giving me Back to the Future/ Blade Runner vibes. I hope some of the rear end styling bits make it to the production vehicle.
Reminds me a bit of the 911 in looks I don’t know why but I love it if the thing is 55-60k Might have to rethink the gtr 😅
Love it but my favorite thing about EVs is no shift jerk and waiting for the gears to pick back up to speed.
I'm with you. How much speed and momentum do you sacrifice letting a human do the shifting? The back of the car is so Porsche inspired it's not even funny xD
Take my money ! Will def buy this color!
Truely love the idea of this… just 😮
dang, nt an electric fan but I am impressed with this car!
It looks like a pokemon to me. I can't really explain it, but it looks so cute?
Did you get to drive the Ioniq 5 N Paul? Supposedly car media got to see and drive it 2 weeks ago.
This has got me singing fiddler on the roof.
Looks mad. Sounds mad. Is mad. Want.
Love the initials! 😉
So is the exhaust a speaker setup...?
Great ad for the hoons ... on the positive side , going on the cost of the EV6 the average hoon won't be able to afford it .
Why do you say simulate shifting gears? Are there different gears or not?
No, which is why it’s a simulated shift.
The tail end of the car looks like a Porsche Carrera had a baby with an Audi RS7.
Chasing an i30N there!
came here after the reveal of the 5 n
Amazing hyundai
Is this one too (rear wheel drive)?. 🤔😟
If only Emula, which already used a technology that is practically identical to the one used on the RN22e already 3 years ago, got the same relevance and interest... Also the guys of 2electron who created it are working on a Tesla right now, they're making it exactly as this car!
Sounds like the Mandurah line
Is this a 4 door audi tt?
Range?
Still TBC. I reckon it’ll be around 500km
the sound looks like Jackson storm By Cars 3
First thing I thought of when I saw it was that it looks like a slightly squashed and stretched VW beetle (new version)...
This design is much better than ioniq 6!
dream job
actor paul walker
What you should do is to drive 100,000 kilometers of various cars and compare them. Do you dare to drive fast in Korean cars at that time?
Hunday are looking great with their tech growing like It is now. A balaclava in an electric car? I suppose they can still catch on fire ?
Haha. #safety.
Porsche Design
The lines make me think of a bugatti veyron
I am Korean Proud~~~~~
Did I see Mr Koenigsegg in the background?
And another one!
Looks like ufo
Damn man, Paul made it seem the car was very drive able, so that it must definitely have been driver error that crashed this prototype. Driver must've been drunk or high or something, his racing lines before the crash were very far off and late.
damn Hyundai is actually letting people drive the concept car?
As always a great video Paul but I must be the only person to think this looks awful. Looks to me like the offspring of a Taycan and a first series CLS Mercedes. Mark my words, this will not age well!
You’re about the only one, like 1%.
Ioniq6 looks awful, but this (n22e) looks pretty good to me
@6:02 Revving an EV!!!!

Since when is Hyundai cool? They went from a boring, basic manufacturer to a genuinely cool company.
Future is reusable energy..hydrogen power.. too good for oz.. thanks hyundai
Get this on the god damn road pls
Hyundai Rinse
Wow
