My dog (RIP 🧡🙏) had cancer of the spleen and breast cancer. I paid for her surgery but the veterinarian could only remove the spleen before she had signs of stress so they had to stop the surgery at that point and not remove the breast tumor as also planned. I was told she probably wouldn't make it through the operation or if she did, she wouldn't live more than 3 months. She lived almost 3 more years, thank God, with vitamin C given daily and no other treatments and passed away at 14 years old.
Very sorry for your loss💔 I am going through the same with my black lab, his spleen was also removed due to a ruptured hemangiosarcoma… may I ask how much vitamin c per day was given to your dog?
@@TheVicJub Thank you for your reply. I am very sorry to hear that your dog is fighting cancer. But vitamin C will definitely help. It depends on the size of the dog. For a smaller dog under 40 pounds, I would say start with a 500 mg tablet and see how well that is tolerated. If tolerated well, then give one morning and at night. Do not give just before the dog is let out to urinate since some of the potency will be lost in the urination. Give after urination so more of the vitamin has time to be absorbed in the system. Gradually work up to about 3000 mg per day (about 1500mg in the morning and 1500 in the evening if the dog is larger than 40 pounds) if we’ll tolerated. When I speak of toleration, I am referring to bowel tolerance and stomach comfort. Initially vitamin C may cause loose stools for a few days while the dogs system adjusts. But this dosage (between 1000mg and 3000mg) should work. Of course in the case of a tiny dog like a Yorkie or chihuahua, maybe only 250-500mg daily. Vitamin C is non-toxic and excess will be excreted so it should not harm the dog but if it causes extended diarrhea or other side effects, then reduce the dosage. Vitamin C can help to shrink tumors and boost the immune system so it is very beneficial for humans and animals. If your dog is taking chemotherapy drugs, consult with the vet since you do not want vitamin C to interfere with the chemo effects. For instance, vitamin C and antibiotics should not be taken at the same time since they will weaken the potency of each. Best wishes and blessings to you and your dog at this time. I am praying for a full recovery for your dog. ❤️🙏
Great, thank you so much❤️ I’m a huge believer of vitamin C since I read a book by Thomas E. Levy. It gives me so much hope to see other dogs have gone through a situation that was slightly worse (mammary tumors on top) and still lived on for another few years….Thank you for taking the time to answer, you’re an angel 😌
I work in water treatment plant, I NEVER give my Jack Russell's tap water. I installed a reverse osmosis system and give them water from that, always. It removes the chlorine and fluoride to a point I'm comfortable with.
Where I live, rural midwest USA. Roundup Ready Corn spills thousands of gallons of glysophates on the ground. The mill in town processes the corn...the dust travels. It could easily be in the water as well as the air. A little research showed that ceramic filters, such as the berky type system will remove it.
I have a 6 stage system from a company called APEC. I have the opportunity to analyze the water with the proper tools at work. I am amazed with the results I get from that system. Water isn't the only factor in the high amount of cancers but I wouldn't doubt it contributes to it.
I had a dog who lived to 18 years old and did not die of cancer. She stayed inside most of the time, so I did not take her to vaccinated or give her heart worm meds. She also only ate good can dog food, no dry food at all. RIP Chessie, miss you girl.
@@azulasbluefire9788 I live in Florida. I stopped giving my dog heart worm meds and flea meds. it made her pee blood. Your dog will be fine if she/he does not live outside fighting the elements, bugs and drinking water infested with mosquito larvae.
I can not be the only one to notice that more dogs are all of a sudden getting cancer. I grew up with dogs all my life and not one of them got cancer growing up. None of them were pure bred. The last 3 out of 4 dogs my brother and I have had got lymphoma. I seriously believe the cause is in the dog food.
Anahid, healing may or may not be answered the way we want. Just like in ppl. Always know our creator always hears those that diligently seek Him and His will for our best welfare😍
You have got to be the greatest veterinarian in the world! I love that your homeopathic vet and you really my kind of go-to guy or don't believe in big pharma or big veterinarian. The money machines like to harm our animals you have love and compassion and teach us a natural way of healing our babies. Thank you!
all the dogs and cats will have a taste of heaven...sadly the majority are driven by greed and they do not give a hula hoop about the animals they see...they see on them $$$$$ how much i can squeeze from the sucker (owner)...
im actually holding my cat in her last moments ,shes 20 kidney failure, and no vets ,,covid 19 maybe also to blame,, im orphan i am taking it hard but prayers i believe in pet heaven and everlasting life,, so i follow god and no matter what ill get my cat back..i love her so much dr jones,, so hard ,,ty you prolonged her life..
My goodness! 20 years! I’m not a cat owner, but that seems a good long life for a kitty! I know this is a time of incredible sadness for you, but I would like to congratulate you on your obviously exceptional treatment of your beloved pet! I do understand…I lost my beautiful pom a year ago and still miss him so much!
Stop feeding your pets kibble! It doesn’t cost much more to feed them homemade diet and you’ll actually save money because you won’t have $$$$$ vet bills. My dogs will NEVER ever touch anything prepackaged “for dogs” ever again. I’m preventing the return of my dogs mast cell cancer on my own with ZERO help from the vet because he gave no advice after I had 5 large tumors cut off and he said he’d see us in 3-6 months (his estimate or tumor growth return). He gave no reasons, theories, rationale and no preventative for return of the tumors. I did my own extensive research on scientific studies and trustworthy data. It’s been 2 years and my dog is now 10 years old. She looks better than ever. She is a complete picture of health. Abundant energy, shiny coat and gleaming eyes. NO Signs whatsoever of anything growing in or on her. I feel that a lot of vets just want the cash flow so preventing and curing isn’t on the menu with them. It is obvious the pet food industry is evil and none of them care about you or your pets health. It is very sickening. If you love your babies make their meals for them, it’s not hard! If anyone is interested in what I give my dogs I will gladly give info. All homemade and easy. Basic stuff you buy at your own market. And , No, I am not trying to sell you anything. Just a pet lover and don’t wish any to suffer!
I spent a fortune on my yorkie for “prescription” dog food because she had diarrhea and vomiting all the time. Saw a recipe on the internet for homemade dog food for a sensitive stomach. Started making it and was shocked at the improvement. She’s almost 16 and had cloudy eyes, gastrointestinal upset and had really slowed down. Her eyes have cleared, she doesn’t get sick any longer and is much more active. It’s a miracle.
Idk what recipe he used, but the pet supplement ‘BalanceIT’ has recipes on their site, where you can choose different proteins & vegetables to create something that works for your dog. The recipes were developed by nutritional experts for dogs.
My boy Lucas had lymphoma😭it was the most shocking how quickly he lost weight. Then shallow breathing fatigue. So difficult. Sending loving healing loving & peace in our hearts for our loved ones🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾💙
I have cancer as well. I think it's from an awful diet, RX & phone in bra. Livin clean now. Cancer sucks. 3 to 6 months to live is what they tell me if I don't follow their regime of western medicine. And to that I say pffft...
@@christinecobo2755 I have a Face Book friend that had stage four breast cancer. She used all natural, herbal remedies. She is still here 15 years later.
when I was growing up the standard vet advice was that you had to wait for a year and for the dog to go through at least one heat before you spayed her. This gave the dog the opportunity to fully develop and grow up healthy. People are neutering pets at 3 months old now and I think that is insane. I am not against spay/neuter at all, but you have to give the animal a chance to grow and develop. Not spaying your dog or cat can lead to Pyometra, a severe infection of the uterus which is fatal if left untreated. it also leads to cancer in the mammary glands.
As a breeder, I ask my puppy buyers to wait until their dog is at least 2 before desexing. The amount of injuries that are prevented by letting them grow naturally is incredible. Hormones are directly involved with joint, tendon and bone growth. Remove them and you open a Pandora's box of issues.
@@smackpointgsps1476 I refuse to spay my girl. She has not, nor will she get bred, but I also will not traumatize her and her little body by having such a major surgery performed on her needlessly. God doesn't make mistakes. I firmly believe in leaving them be. She is never outdoors without me being right there.
Disgusting. In some countries, if not all of them over in Europe they don't neuter unless its highly necessary. Unfortunately last i read was that due to some of their Vet's coming here to America to become a pet Dr. they go back with that "Neuter/Spay them now!" mentality but hopefully those countries can stay strong and just leave the pets be as they always have been. I keep hearing they don't have the stray cats and dogs problems like over here either.
I can't believe the ignorant "mindset" I see in these posts. Here... Australia...dogs and cats are neutered at about 12 weeks..has been so for a very long time..my last 2 dogs and my cat were all neutered at that age. Dogs lived 16 years...no health problems. My cat lived 18 long healthy years My current dog I got at nearly 4 yo. She was a show dog and had 1 litter before I got her. She had problems when delivering pups and had to have hysterectomy at time. I do not know of any problems with any animals I know. In fact..strongly encouraged as various fees for non neutered pets are more expensive. In fact..neutered pets live longer healthier lives. And..no strays in streets parks etc. A stray would be picked up very quickly.. returned to owner via microchip or council tag..or taken to RSPCA. And I'm pretty sure the animals I see here..in other countries ..would be in much better health and living condition/s if they were treated the same. I'm pretty sure giving birth ..to endless litters...on the street is a miserable situation for all... In fact..neutered pets are actually less likely to have health problems... 🐕🐈⬛👍🤗
I am in tears! I have a golden retriever and a boxer!! I cannot go through more loss in my life!! I am traumatized! They are the reason I am still alive.
@@josephinestewart7633 So sorry to hear about your dog. well it is a year later and my boxer died two months ago so I feel your pain. God is good. a month before her passing a miracle happened. I went onto gumtree ad service in South Africa and saw ad for Malinois. I phoned the woman and she had a cross german shepherd malinois male 8 weeks old. She stays quite far from me. She and her daughter brought the puppy to me. I had the experience of seeing my boxer interact and play and teach this highly strung working breed puppy. My heart is still broken over my loss but I must say the puppy got me out of bed in the mornings. Maroela my Labby is now old and she does not want to be bothered with a pup. So another miracle happened. A tenant that is moving onto the property went and also got a malinois male pup. They have not moved in yet so I have two puppies to train and thank God that can play with each other and leave my Labby alone. I am moving to the Eastern Cape soon. I bought rural ground in a small village. God's timing is perfect. He knows what we need and He will always provide. That in itself makes my mourning phase lighter. Mexico my boxer will always have a very special place in my heart she was my protector and companion. I hope that this will make your heart Josephine lighter. May Yeshua Ha Massiach cover you with His blood.
My baby boy had blood cancer that metastasized to his heart. If I could go back in time I would change so much. He was such a blessing to my life. Grateful for our time together.
Just lost my lab/husky mix to nasal cancer. He was 12 and it went very fast, 2 weeks from being diagnosed to when we had to put him down. Went from healthy active dog full of personality to muscular degeneration and not enjoying life. Will miss my beautiful boy.
I stopped treatment several years ago and have had no issues. I use food grade diatomaceous earth and have had excellent results for both my cat and my dog.
If it was safe, they would have humans using it for Flea/tick control. I asked my vet that question and was just told its safer for pets as they have shorter life spans. Obviously, that is NOT what we want to hear as pet owners.
@@catherine7147 Great... It's harmful but that's okay they don't live long 🤦 Have seen veterinarians go against vaccinations for dogs, the dosage is the same for a Great Dane as a Chihuahua . they feel the vaccines cause a lot of issues. He said they ought to be more regulated give the correct quantity and you can even go years.... horse vet told me many years ago rabies shots good for 3 years but the law makes them give it every year .. they finally changed that with that so-called 3 year vaccine is exact same thing as original vaccine just charging more.
My dog spends a lot of time outside, not just around the house but out in the woods hiking weekly. I'm fairly certain he would've picked up some tick-bourne disease by now had I not started Bravecto many years ago. Not only that, but before he started Bravecto, he'd get fleas every time he went to the dog park, sometimes he'd get fleas just meeting a dog in the neighborhood. That led to scratching and biting, which led to wounds. It's all a trade off. Yes, we did try some natural flea and tick remedies, but those did not hold a candle to the systemic drugs.
@@MF-rw3rb Yes, it is a trade off. I just lost my 12 yr. old Golden to cancer and I always wonder why. She was never on Kibble and I only used the topical treatments for flea/ticks and not in the winter ( Wisconsin). I don’t really think its the vaccines in her case. She was a large golden. Who knows? She did live an extra year and a half on chemo and had almost zero side effects. We need a cure.
Thank you Dr. Jones for your selfless commitment to educating pet partners about their furry friends. Wherever I go ( to include at airports, grocery stores, etc.) I try never to miss an opportunity to share your information with anyone handling a pet. I enjoy all your videos. Shalom
Excellent video. Lived that nightmare where the vet told me my cat had lymphoma. :( BTW, your co-star has to be one of the best behaved dogs I have ever seen. What a cutie!!! :)
My beloved fur daughter suffered in her lasts months with cancerous fluids in between her organs after a struggle with diabetes which she let us know when it was time to cross over in an Emergency Vet Hospital June 19 2019.....that was the hardest experience ever felt in my entire life! @@cosmeticsandpurseswithevelyn You're very welcome. My baby kitty died from cancer 3 years ago. I know your pain. I still miss her sooooo much. It took me over a year to get another kitty to love.
My beautiful cat passed away of Stomach Cancer. It was so sudden and out of no where. Very heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet, especially when you feel like you could have prevented the years of flea treatments or the food their eating, such as dry food. We wouldn’t as humans even give those things to ourselves, and yet we ignorantly give them to our pets. That horrible experience confirmed to be as natural as possible. Thanks to you Dr Jones, I don’t give my dogs flea treatments and I home cook their meals. I took in a Teacup Pomeranian that was neglected for years, and his coat and eyes have never looked so healthy. My other dog, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, has an amazing coat since having home cooked foods. Having a Corgi also, I’m always thinking of ways to keep his joints/short legs healthy and strong. Our beloved pets create so many treasured memories, yet live such short lives, they deserve to have the best quality in life. 💚🙏
I was unsure about the tick and flea spray. Now I can confidently bathe my dog knowing the spray could be dangerous. The pet food ingredient lists always looked gruesome. I'll keep feeding my pup real food.
Thank you so much for your compassion for our fur families. My beloved cat died of mouth cancer that you mentioned, I’m learning from you Dr to hopefully do better for my present cats. Many blessings to you from Australia 🙏💜🐈💜🙏
Thank you for being a true and genuine lover of animals. I stopped giving my shih tzu frontline years ago and I feed him home made food. He's 13 yrs old and runs like puppy
My lab Pyrenees got horrible case of what the vet said was cancer overnight, it started on the top of his head and with in 2 weeks he had eye issues huge wounds/ knots all over. had to put him down. He was 10. I have my doubts about cancer and glycoma. We recently had an influx of city people buying land and setting up homestead, ( its pretty shortlived once the nuance wears thin and the real wwlork kicks in.) At first they had 2 calves in a tiny corral on the outskirts of their property. , one disapeared and soon they were digging a huge hole, and the other calf was kept in tiny corral, isolated and waled all night. My lab Pyrenees would stay by him. One day the calf was gone and 2 weeks later Puff developed these skin ulcers. al I've been studying molecular bio since 2011. I documented the progression of his illness and kept pictures, skin and hair samples .
I pray to God to give you a lot of beautiful days and you know God loves us so much,So where are you originally from? I am David originally from Spain but currently living in Texas now...
Detox them ones a year. Add it to the list he said. If you get rabies shots to keep apartment, then detox them with Lyssin 30c one pill a week before a vet appointment, day of, then three days after. Just for getting yearly rabies shots. If you can , get tilter test one a year. If you can get your vet to agree.
I lost 3 beloved dogs to cancer. They had all taken Comfortis. I no longer give my 5 rescue pups Comfortis. I treat them with oral Ivermectin monthly. No treats! So far they are all healthy. No signs of cancer. Recent media attention to Ivermectin treatment for Covid.
My bagel hound ( beagle/basset ) rescued at maybe 5 years old... died of bladder cancer complications then spread to lymph nodes. This Basset I have now... I'm on board for titer testing, raw feeding too!
I adopted my pup from animal control so had no option to keep him intact or avoid vaccines. Fortunately he was 11 months old so not a juvenile neuter. He's only 16 lbs and they loaded him up on innoculations and rabies the same day he was neutered. I prayed he would survive it. His surgical site became infected and my vet at the time (I've since changed to an holistic vet) told me the neutering surgery was not done correctly. It's been a little over a year since and he's doing fine.
My cat had liver cancer. He was part indoor ( more as he got older) and outdoor. He lived in farmland for his first few years of his life and we moved to an area with farmland being us.. He lived for 16+ years but I can't help but feel that farm chemicals caused his cancer but I think that I will never know. His skin was yellow when he passed. I miss him so much. He was a wonderful cat and so smart.
I.am. SOOO! so happy you mentioned the VOC's that are on our furniture(even our cars seats), mattress too. Its in our appliances and even air purifiers. Its a total mess. I guess in trying to "avoid" these things we either have to "modify" the items or find something else to "modify" to work the same way OR order products from anther country where they haven't put these chemicals on them.
I’ve had 4 mixed breed rescues. I’m also daughter of a veterinarian. I concluded years ago, after many conversations with my dad, commercial dog food + the poisons sprayed on lawns (not mine) + chemicals used in homes (not mine) cause all kinds of cancers. All my dogs have died of cancer. And my sister, my aunt, my cousin - we poison our food and environment, and we poison ourselves and our animals.
Brilliant brilliant episode. I can see your passion. Your feelings over this. You are are a sure asset to real pet care/lovers and the innocent animals. I thank you.
Same here! I have agonized over whether to do heartworm meds, but definitely stopped with the Frontline flea/tick after skin growths, whining dogs after application, and one application that actually burned a hole thru the skin and left a scab! The first dog we had that we gave all these pet meds was a sheltie that died of stomach cancer at age 7, halfway thru his little life. And our collie’s life was cut short due to cancer, and he was treated with pet meds most of his life. It makes me so sad that animals suffer and often die, and while I can’t prove it was the meds, the only dog we had that didn’t take them lived a long, healthy and full life.
When you bring up a concern I noticed the vets shrug. But they say stuff like we need you to set up a wellness program for their health it costs a fortune and your dog or cat is stressed out and all you need to do is watch all the kill you stuff we buy all the time and read where your food is coming from and what those ingredients are I looked up alot of stuff food flea and tick lysol etc,,, all of it has carcinogens and they market it to your dog. Or cat. If they do it to us you bet they do it to your animal. Most vets are corporations now. Sorry but it's TRUE love your pet listen to dr Jones. But not saying anything to you is a way of just doing expensive tests and handing you some pharma pills expensive that will hurt your pet.
I have had dogs all my life, on February 12th 2024 I lost my puppy to a very aggressive cancer, he would have been 2 years old this coming may. He was cryptorchidism when I got him and surgery was done at 4 months to find and remove the testicle that was up by his abdomen. I was told the surgeon removed it along with the one that did drop. The vet who signed off on the puppies being healthy claimed sometimes it's hard to palpate the testicles at 8 weeks. I do not believe that, I have had male dogs at that age and was able to feel them. Why I never did this when I first went to get him I will never know and blame the breeder and vet for not telling me. He was not over vaccinated and I strongly feel the surgery was a failure that the testicle was never removed. On Feb 9th I saw a lump appear on his rib cage, I took him to the vet I was using at the time who drew blood out of the tumor told me its hematoma and ice the area three time a day for two weeks. Keep in mind this puppy was running jumping playing and eating, but that Sunday after we saw my vet he would not eat, had hard time breathing, and lethargic. I rushed him to animal emergency, his chest cavity was filled with blood, they X Ray showed the area was affected, they tapped his chest to rid the fluid, gave him blood transfusions, next day on Monday a CT was done and cancer was located at the base of this rid cage. I was told they could do a biopsy then surgery and chemo. The doctor I saw at the emergency hospital told me if it were his dog he would not put his pet through the treatment and maybe get 4 more months. I had to make that awful decision to say goodby to my beautiful boy. I blame the breeder and the vet for negligence in not disclosing the truth about the puppies. Thank you Dr. Jones for all your honest and very helpful information. I wish I could find a vet like you. I only give my dogs Parvo-Disteper core vaccines, and one rabies shot at 6 months old. Then I titer to check antibodies, no heart heart guard, they are tested twice a year with a blood test. Im still in shock and heart broken, I never in my life lost a pup so young.
Omg I had no idea , is pet food not regulated, my cat died of mouth cancer it was a horrible disease I felt helpless now my cat after vaccinated has developed a mass I'm devastated
I used to religiously take all my dogs and cats to the vet for vaccines, meds, procedures. By age 10 they were prematurely old. By age 12 they were dead from mostly cancer, heart disease, and who knows what. Now my pets stay inside (unless on a leash) and far far away from the vet's "required" treatments. The dogs, who received many vet treatments early on, died of cancer and heart disease. Our cats, some of whom have never seen a vet, are living long and healthy. If they have an issue, I research it and treat it naturally. They are fairing very well. I am glad I have found you, Dr. Jones. Thank you for being on youtube, and offering helpful information for the benefit of our little friends. God bless you.
I pray to God to give you a lot of beautiful days and you know God loves us so much,So where are you originally from? I am David originally from Spain but currently living in Texas now...
Excellent information Doc! Most appropriate the information. I’ve been using HPT with my son, who had a cancerous tumor in his brain. It’s been 4 years now with zero cancer results. My dog, who also has cancer but is now under control and disappearing by each week. HPT means Hydrogen peroxide treatment (35% food grade), which is diluted with fresh mountain water.
@@Truther567, each dog is going to be different due to weight and size. With humans it’s a totally different dose. So , try one droplet per 16oz of spring water the first day and increase the dosage by one droplet each day for 25 days.(25 droplets at the 25th day). And do this for 7 days, then back off the dosage in reverse. This will complete the first cycle. For humans it’s three times this, so this dose cycle is light enough for a dog’s digestive system. Side effects; would be throwing up. Throwing up is an indicator that the dose is too much for the dogs digestive system to handle. The solution is to back off the dosage but continue the cycle.
All 3 of my dogs had cancer. I am paying so much money for expensive food and yet I believe it was the food. My male german shepherd died at the age of 9 with hemangiosarcoma, my female shepherd luckily went through surgery and it was removed and so far she is fine. Now my youngest rescue pitbul mix is diagnosed with a large mass in her lungs. She is coughing and had a very high fever. I use vinegar to clean but they are vaccinated and spayed. My male shepherd was not neutered. I think if I have another dog, I will feed him/her vegan dog food. There is so much in the meat that is causing too many cancers.
I just want to add that I saw some place that many times (not all the time) the cancer is originated the teeth thanks to infections and cavities, and ater fixing that problems people notice health improvements. It is worth to check it out and of course it should be acompanied with another remedies or treatments I believe-
I have a westie! I'm so sorry for your loss, I shudder at the thought of what it's like to lose a family member. How old was yours? I've heard bladder cancer is common in westies.
@@ilovedogs938 Thank you so much for your kindness. My little love was 15 1/2 years old. She was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I go to a holistic vet now and she told me it could have been the conventional vaccines that caused the bladder cancer, who really knows. I can tell you that after she passed she gave me a very precious sign that she is still around My family also surprised me with another Westie recently, and it has helped me with the grieving. They are very special dogs. Enjoy every moment with your Westie, as they are very precious. Take care!
I love them so much, they have great personalities and are very affectionate 😿. I have been feeding mine fresh veg and organic meat for sometime plus I give her omega-3 oils(from seaweed rather than fish), ubiquinol, Resveratrol, beta glucans, and astaxanthin. I also give her organ meats such as kidneys, liver and heart. And for amino acids I give her Ox cheeks. I used flaxseed oil in the eve meal too. For veg I give okra, kale, pumpkin, carrots, broccoli and purple sweet potato (for the anthocyanins) and occasionally almond butter. I also didn't get her spayed until she was 7 years old. I give her yumove and try to walk at least 5-10k steps with her a day. The water I give is filtered and I clean her teeth occasionally with her own electric toothbrush head. She snacks on carrots and runner beans from our garden lol. She had dry eyes and the vet prescribed optimmune but I didn't want to give it to her anymore due to the ointment lowering the immune response and therefore allowing the chance of cancer. So I used Theoloz duo drops instead which is preservative free for humans. When she was young I stopped the flea treatments that this vet mentioned because I could notice she was becoming sad. Instead we wash her once a week and keep an eye always on her fur. I also only vaccinated her when she was young and didn't give her the boosters as they're not needed and I do agree they can cause problems. She is now turning 11 in November but even after all of my efforts to keep her healthy and happy I still have anxiety that she might get cancer or some other ailment or run over by a bus even though I watch her like a hawk lol. Like you I love my westie so much as I am an only child with no kids and I absolutely adore dogs and animals. So I can understand your heartache. I have anxiety about suddenly losing her or if she is diagnosed with something so I cannot imagine what you went through.
I lost one of my female border collies to lymphoma cancer a few years ago. Actually she didn't die from the cancer. The vet I took her too gave her a Non steroidal drug before he knew for certain (but Suspected) it was cancer. One thing I do know is that, non steroidal meds should NEVER be administered to animal or human if cancer is suspected. Needless to say, that one medication caused extreme internal bleeding ulcers, which was so bad she was given a blood transfusion. Even though the vet did take responsibility for his actions, and admitted that it was his mistake, I lost my baby girl the very same night she was given her first chemo treatment. She ultimately passed away from internal bleeding and not the cancer. I do forgive this vet now, but inexperience with certain diseases should be directed to a vet whom has the experience. A hard lesson I won't ever forget. I am glad he had the guts to admit it was his mistake, because that would take a lot of courage!
Jeez I'm so sorry, what she must have gone through😪😪 You're a better person than me forgiving him. I was told my dog had mastitis...ended up as soon as a different vet seen her he said mammary cancer. She suffered needlessly.
Yikes 😳 hello Dr Jones thank you for sharing and your advice .. personally my family pet was never fed with kibbles and I notice since kibbles were intro, cancer seems to be common.. that’s why mine is on Raw food diet ..take care Dr Jones and keep safe 😷👍🏻

Wow on the spaying & neutering link w/so many kinds of cancers. I put off getting my dogs fixed until over a yr old bc I figured they need their “parts” for hormones until they were grown, so I waited. (Except for 1 dog w/an undescended testicle, I got him done at 9mo, the longest I could wait) My 1female dog I got her fixed at 3yrs bc I didn’t want her to have any litters by accident after that age - for her safety.
I have had dozens of dogs live to be VERY old and never had cancer in any of them. I did spay/Neuter them at around 6 months to prevent mammary, testicular and uterine cancers, and did feed them all sorts of vegetables and fruit every day, plus olive oil and sardines 2 x per week. Lots of sweet potatoes and broccoli especially. I got them all their puppy shots, then their 1 year boosters. But then only every 3 years until 10 years old. No more vaccines after age ten. Any dog small enough to use wee pads would stay inside during hot summer nights so I didn't use heartworm or flea meds on them. Only on the large dogs, and only during warm weather. Why vets push heartworm meds in places like Wisconsin 12 months a year is nuts! There are no mosquitoes when it's-20 below zero! I use human baby shampoo most of the time to bathe them. (I did screen in my porch so they can go out there when it's warm. Better/cheaper than pumping them constantly full of chemicals.)
I look in the albums at the vets and see cute little dogs all dying at 5 and 6 years old. Of course they always went and got their shots so why do so many die so young?
My Shepard died of bone cancer and my cat died of stomach cancer. Horrible deaths. My terrier from throat cancer and My cavalier from Addisons disease.
My pit lab mix had a horrific end. She collapsed, unable to use her legs. It turned out that she had cancer everywhere. My mother was the only one with her at the time and she is 80, unable to lift or help her. I still feel terrible about the whole thing. My point is, do research and avoid this scenerio. It traumatized my mother and no dog or person should have to deal with that. She was only 11 and still full of life. It was the saddest thing I've ever dealt with

Thanks for sharing all this info. Last month I applied Sentry flea treatment to my cat Gaia because she's prone to fleas. She's an albino kitty, meaning her skin is extremely sensitive. I did it because she was scratching herself a lot and thought she had some visitors. Well, I almost lost my feline daughter. That chemical burned her skin. She was going crazy, hyperventilating, shallow breathing, dilated pupils. It was a very scary situation. I called a veterinary emergency center and they told me to bathe her RUSH. I didn't know she was having a reaction to the treatment. I bathed her with a coconut, shea butter body wash and she was so relieved.
Be careful with tap water and RO water as it can dehydrate from a lack of minerals. Best thing is to get a Berkey filter w the arsenic/fluoride addition. YT has diy vids to make your own w stainless steel pots and save a lot of $ while getting the best filtration that maintains essential minerals. If this isn’t an option use VERY low amounts of electrolytes - pink salt, potassium citrate, food grade Epsom salt and sodium bicarbonate (red mill). Mercola carries an all natural flea and tick perfection that I can verify works very well. I use the monthly drops and add spray during adventures outside the city. Highly recommend this product!
And everybody and I do mean everybody thought I was crazy. Thank you Dr.Jones for all these confirmations if not suspicions based on adapt critical thinking skills. My 2 dogs one a Bichon Frise and the other a border collie mix lived until age 17 and 19. When I get my next dog I will buy your nutritional supplement rather than concocting my own which I had carefully calculated.
Let’s not forget about the chemicals in our carpets, too! (Pets and children!) Thanks so much for speaking up about these issues! I love your mission and ethics SO MUCH! Thank you 🙏❣️😻💕
Delaying spaying? Interesting observation, the shelter where I got my little dog at 4 mos. old, wouldn’t let her leave unless I had her spayed at their attached vet.
I had to have my chihauhau. Euthrnized .He was getting laser treatment s on his spine for a disease that paralyzed his back legs .I took him in emergency clinic on a weekend because he was urinating pink urine .Thought it was a u .t.l .An ultrasound found 5 cm. cancer tumor in his bladder .He was only 12 .Dr. said it was unusual for his age .We miss him terribly. Our Dingo shepherd cries when she smell where he used to sleep .😢
So what do I do? My cat's allergic to flea bites and the only thing that's helped her is bravecto and revolution. I want to help her in a more holistic way, but idk how. ☹
I just ordered your supplement for my dog- he has skin issues and anxiety as well as had a TPLO on one knee and then the second knew went and I had decided not to do TPLO on it and heal him naturally- its been almost a year. I found the surgery was a catalyst to most of his issues -and his vaccines which i never gave him again-only 1 set of puppy and his ex- vet insisted on rabies 2 years ago- he is 4 now... as well as acana dog food- once i switched him to "GO" 80% of his problems went away and his fur grew back- still has summer skin issues and hot spots. Wish you could meet my boy and help us- you are the best vet out there .
My sweet baby was euthanized on March 20th. I will miss him forever. Wish I’d seen this in his early years. He had skin issues, I found Apple Cider Vinegar, or Vetrycine worked to clear those up. Now I’m wondering about everything.. the floor cleaners, food, Downey on his blankets. Hope it’s not too late for my cat and my smaller dog.
I decided to feed my dog raw and home cook foods with supplements powder , cook them bone broth since they are doberman, they eat a lot, I would not want to take any risk . I really admire your work and your courage plus honesty and caring. Thank you so very much Doctor!
I feed my dogs cooked food too. For bone broth I started using an instapot. It was a game changer on the time it takes to make the broth. I cook on ‘hi’ for 4 hours.

Doctor I clean my apartment with white vinegar to avoid any toxic chemicals and cook for them most of the time 6 days a week and still don't feel it's enough
Well you don't have to cook every night like that. You get the meats, poultry, etc and cook a big batch. Section off in baggies or containers and leave some in the fridge for however many times you will feed them(ex. if you feed twice a day then put 2 baggies or container of food to feed them that day. You do that everyday) and the rest of the batch you cooked will go into the freezer. Then when you have finished off the food for that day at night, before bed, you will pull out the next bags/containers of food to feed the dog. You portion off an amount that is fit for your size dog. RUclips will give you the best ways to do it. That is what I have been following.
I cook real food for my dog... meat and veg...enough for 3 meals at a time... I eat similar so no effort to cook enough veg for both of us. Sometimes include small amount of rice or pasta. No tins no packets..so better for environment as well. Little time and effort. Raw is probably even better. Really....do wild dogs and wolves buy cans and packets of food?? NO..they eat a plant eating animal... including its stomach contents. .veg/plants.
My dog’s have on a home diet for years. A retired veterinarian of 30 years in Cuba convinced me. He asked me if I thought the preservatives in commercial food was healthy for consumption. It’s common sense that crap isn’t healthy but so many Americans are conditioned to believe otherwise. I was a maniac about my rescues ONLY having dry food purchased at VET office. I really thought I was doing the right thing. Changing to them to home diet cured their CHRONIC skin issues, constipation, lethargy and so much more. You mentioned cleaning with white vinegar. Hounds are slobs by nature (just IMO), they smell bad if you don’t stay on top of keeping their ears clean. Their coats get extremely greasy between regular bathing. I HAVE to spend at least an hour doing maintenance clean up daily with 200 lbs of slobbering hounds. The older of the two does have accidents in his old age. Can’t blame him, he can’t hold it more than couple hours max. I mop up the urine with diluted bleach and know there must be better options for them. I don’t know that vinegar would sanitize following urine? Is there a product that is strong enough to sanitize, neutralize odor and clean up after nasty ole hound dogs 🐕👃🏽🤢? I adore the bastards and feel terrible using bleach even though I repeatedly wash the floor with water after. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated.
I feed my dogs cats and horses super foods Spira Lena and chlorella on top of the dry food. We go through about half as much dry food now and everybody is spunky and alert For many years. 3 teaspoons equals 14 1/2 pounds of fresh green vegetables.
@@ms.doubtfire7307 I have seen those 2 items at my mom and pop health food store and I shall get some for my Australian Shepard and change her diet. Just subscribed, really like this Vet!!!

Agony. I know how you feel. I'd move heaven and earth to keep my dog alive. Those pesticides they use everywhere I believe is doing terrible damage as well.
Sorry for your loss, Thanks for sharing
@@VeterinarySecrets Thank you for your condolences and thank you for this video.
Agreed, not enough thought goes into water. 🙂
Same here with the reverse osmosis.
We use a ProOne, formerly ProPur, system (similar to Big Berkey).

My chihuahua lived 17 years no vaccines, no vet ..died of old age never had a illness or anything
when I was growing up the standard vet advice was that you had to wait for a year and for the dog to go through at least one heat before you spayed her.
Encouraged to prevent excess unwanted puppies and kittens.... too many idiots out there...and Im not referring to the dogs and cats!!!!!

I always wondered about how safe the flea repellent really is for our pets...
It's harmful but that's okay they don't live long 🤦
Have seen veterinarians go against vaccinations for dogs, the dosage is the same for a Great Dane as a Chihuahua . they feel the vaccines cause a lot of issues.
@@MF-rw3rb
Yes, it is a trade off.

No treats from China. You can buy a food dehydrator and make your own.
Quality. Beef jerky is fine too.
My puppy took ivermectin for parasite for 5 days
Where did you get ivermectin for dogs? Did you give them the ivermectin horse paste?

I've heard that using dryer sheets or liquid fabric softener on their bedding can be harmful to them since they end up licking that off of them.
Bad for us too, we use vinegar in the final rinse works very well.

I use bicarb and vinegar for cleaning. Rain water ,not always boiled first, looking into filtering

I don’t spray any chemicals but feed dry dog food from TSC brand and two LGDs have bone cancer at 4 and 6 years old, same food all there lives
Brilliant brilliant episode. I can see your passion. Your feelings over this.
You are are a sure asset to real pet care/lovers and the innocent animals.
I thank you.
I love your channel and that Tula!! Oh those eyes:)
Every time I gave my dog Frontline he ended up at the vet very sick. It would happen with in a week but the vet didn’t make the connection.😩

I have zero doubt your Vet "made a connection", but opted to brush it away, since it would negatively impact net revenue.
@@heldenkreuz I’m sure that’s true, sadly.
Sooo very sorry for your loss. 😢

I have a Bernese Mountain Dog and didn’t neuter him until he developed a medical reason at 5.5 years. BPH.

I have some of that. Is the dilution 50/50 for your dog or less and how much do you give it?

Gmo corn, grain and soy. We are all being poisoned on purpose. God help us!
What kind of food?
Maybe you should make your own with human grade food?
Might have been the vaccines.

I love your integrity.
Jeez I'm so sorry, what she must have gone through😪😪
You're a better person than me forgiving him. I was told my dog had mastitis...ended up as soon as a different vet seen her he said mammary cancer. She suffered needlessly.
Please can you tell me what are the symptoms of your dog? I am also suspecting that my dog is also sick

It was the saddest thing I've ever dealt with
Wait, 0:51 did you say vaccines can cause cancer too? Does this mean vaccines we take can also cause cancer?
Of course they do and they always did. Listen to Robert Kennedy Jr on Bitchute last episode of Perspectives on Pandemic. See for yourself. Quit trusting govt and msm. www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CHRG-108hhrg91047/html/CHRG-108hhrg91047.htm

Thanks for sharing- very scary
Gosh that’s a long lifespan. What exactly did you feed them?
