Attention to details in this game is amazing. In slow-mo you can even notice the gun barrel and gun mods shaking after shot

It's mocap (recorded in real life with some people using special suits that track the body movements)

@@kylekomicbro1836 it's to indicate the accuracy, it shakes and progressively stop shaking, if the player shot with the weapon shaking... the player will get a inaccurate shot according to how much the weapon was shaking
for those who don’t know, a lot of the guns were motion captured by a professional shooter, which is why a lot of the reloads are tactical looking

Yes beside mocap we have Micheal Munk (RedTide81) refining and reanimating these clip to create this tactical esque feeling to the game
I’ve always liked how for a AA multiplayer shooter, they actually have proper reload animations for each gun
Also the animations are mocapped and in high FPS for zed time
Yup. It's a big improvement since the previous Killing Floor games. You can only expect even better on Killing Floor 3, or so I heard of(us fans were talking about it some time ago).

The reloads and the animations are so perfect.
What I really like about this game's shooting mechanics is that, when hipfiring, your bullets don't just randomly go all over the place, the recoil actually kicks the gun around and the bullets follow where it's going, unless you correct it by bringing the mouse down again. It's such an amazing way of handling recoil that I'm surprised more games don't do it this way.
This is probably the best weapon animations I've ever seen in a games

The best hand-made animations in the game market is mw19, killing floor used mocap, only few hand-work was made to fix and create a good smooth transition between them etc.

ironically, the dlc weapons are terribly done compared to the free ones.

These are definitely some of the best FPS weapon animations (and sound design) I've ever seen. In fact, these animations, unlike in most such games, are made using motion capture, which is the reason why they are so detailed, satisfying, realistic, and very exciting for me to watch, and the fire rates are truly believable, I could not expect the SCAR-H to fire faster than the AK-12 in full auto mode!
The attachments on certain guns shake while firing, which is such a nice detail for a 2016 game powered by the Unreal Engine 3. Also, on most guns, the character is actually seen pulling the trigger when those guns are fired.

I still play Killing Floor 2. If you like face paced shooting games or hack and slash you would love this game. Team up and go against some Z's or Zeds
There are probably many people confused/surprised about some of the weapons. Just look at the zeds (ruclips.net/video/wQ7rv4Prl6w/видео.html & ruclips.net/video/AO7Fcl_nC4I/видео.html), then you'll understand.

KF2 is one of the only games i can think of where you can make your medic into a tank also.
I like to play more like a combat medic. Lots of healing but also usefull for trash and medium zeds. With the HRG incision, you now have something to hurt the big boys too.
My most played class was the support. Not only was I giving out ammo for everyone, but also how can you say no to a good boomstick
FYI all pistols and revolvers minus glock plus shield have an akimbo mode and can be dual wielded. He doesn’t show it

Those animations, are far better than ubisoft's FC5 and the R6 siege
Edit: these are close to MW19's perfection where MW has the perfect amount of everything, animation speed, shaking, weight feeling, swing, smoke, and also the sounds are perfect. While this one has mostly swinging animations and that's very very good
To be fair 5 is an open world game which already excused the reload animation for me, but i do like the animations on this game and MW19, however what i DONT like about Killing floor 2 is that how some of the weapons are DLCS, not saying 5 doesnt have dlc weapons.
For me MW2K19 is off in the speed, shaking, and weight. Especially for slight of hand reloads. The guns in MW just feel too snappy for me.
KF2 has a definite win with the melee animations imo

Seeing these animations is kind of refreshing to see (outside of the tac reload perks for the classes), compared to all the MW2019 reloads nowadays, where those ,,tactical" reloads look like they all have tourettes

It's the MKB42(H), the prototype version of the STG44. The open bolt is correct, since it was intended to be used as a SMG rather than a rifle.

I loved this game back then. Gunplay is nice and animations are great, even the gameplay too! too bad i stopped playing for 1 1/2 years now because of the lack of content and tripwire abandoning the game (paid DLC and shitty free guns which are just reskin of original ones) Its replayable sure but you'll get bored soon because of the lack of content a lore. Here's hoping to KF3

This game is fun, but you can get bored of it pretty easily, even if you go up higher difficulties. Too bad not all their guns are free, but at least they do that "shared content" bullshit for multiplayer

@@zaicanna96 What do you mean exactly? Do you only play versus survival? Just find a server that has Survival, endless, or even weekly, or just go to Offline solo and select a game mode from there, select a map, length, difficulty, and boom

Never knew the SG 500’s safety sling says “Killing Floor 2”. You can just barely see it for a split second while reloading during slow mo.

The only reason you don’t see anything new is because this is literally 8 days into 2021. Also it might not be new to you since you constantly play the game or see gameplay. For somebody who hasn’t seen it since (before) October, a lot of things here would be new to them.

Theyre okay, but why are they so... bouncy? It's genuinely annoying how the weapons bounce around as if the user barely has a grip on them, particularly at the end of the animation, as the character "Re-shoulders" the weapon
