Killing Floor 2: Hell on Earth Sanitarium Solo Sharpshooter w/King FP

- In this video I continue right where the Christmas update left off. In this run, I showcase the new weapon for Sharpshooter, The Mosin Nagant on the most recent map Sanitarium.
Starting off with the Mosin Nagant for what's It's worth, it's a decent weapon for Sharpshooter. High accuracy, dealing good damage with a low fire rate, it can take down large zeds with general ease. It has a bayonet attached to the front for close quarters taking care of trash zeds and a parry feature to reduce damage. While the weapon certainly has it's advantages in my option, it's not particularly great in many areas because most Sharpshooter weapons can outshine it in almost any aspect. You don't have a great deal of control over the weapon. Each time you fire you are unable to parry, bash, or reload until the bolt animation finishes. This leaves the weapon feeling sluggish. The weapon isn't that efficient because of it's slow rate of fire. However, the parry feature is more then enough to accommodate for it's massive damage reduction. Paired with It's beautiful animations and sound design it's quite a wonderful weapon. I would like to see more bolt action weapons make a return to Killing Floor 2. The Mosin Nagant serves as a base for the next bolt like weapon.
The map Sanitarium is pretty crammed for how big the map is which was a surprise to me. Right off the bat I will say that Sanitarium was quite difficult to play. The spawns are littered almost everywhere on the map. Leaving you almost no breathing room keeping you in suspense on what's around the corner. There aren't many good spots to hold, the dosh zones are straight suicide and kiting is a nightmare. This wasn't the best map to show the Mosin Nagant on but the weapon was pushed to it's limits I feel. The maps detail is exquisite. The theme of the map is cultish. It's original in its own design which I like! Periodically throughout the waves the map alters it's appearance hinting heavily on it's cultish theme. Hopefully we'll see more theme like maps being made I do enjoy showing them off.

It’s incredible how flexible you are! You already make the game look so easy, but you escape from possible pinches with such fluidity it’s incredible. I didn’t even recognize the fleshpound was coming before you already froze the scrake

Zeds hit like a truck if they fall on you. Insta death if it's a large zed. I often forget this mechanic exists.
I just discovered yesterday that you can also damage and sometimes stun them by falling on their head

I will give Tripwire credit; the gun animations in this game are the best I've seen in any videogame. When he reloads the Mosin Nagant and tosses away the clip there are still bullets attached depending on how many shots he has used. For example, if he fires once and then reloads, he'll throw away a clip with 4 bullets attached to it since he only needed to reload 1. If he is completely out, the clip will be empty. Insane attention to detail.
BonJoviFanboy I focus more on the map design. They got the game so well.
The reason is because the reloading is literally motion capture they've said so themselves. Shit I'm just waiting to get back home tomorrow night to play Tripwires new game Maneater

I think the Mosin is an amazing weapon for one reason: Bayonet. It is always nice to see a weapon with some melee functionality given the effectiveness of bashing in KF2. Seeing Sharpshooters have that option on one of their weapons is awesome in my book.

I have watched quite a few of his videos, the insanely smooth, pixel by pixel head tracking only happens every now and then, inconsistently. it's a toggleable aim assist that locks onto the head of the target, it is used quite often, which I haven't seen in his multiplayer videos. He is not being accused of cheating, this just needs clarification because people turned blind and it has been going on for a while

Dude is there a way to level up your perks quickly once they get to level 20? My Swat perk barely gains any xp and I use swat weapons all the time
It's always a drag around level 20, but the fastest way I know is playing endless on hard killing the bosses every 5 waves. Restart, and repeat. Bosses yield the most XP when killed for any game mode you play.
