- I'm back again with more content for the end of the year. In this video, I play Support and showcase the new weapon, the Frost Fang on the new map Elysium. The Frost Fang is a lever action shotgun with cyro capabilities with an axe attached to the front for close quarters which functions like a standard melee weapon for support/berserker.
In the run, I'm Support and use the Frost Fang throughout the entirety of the map. The Frost Fang is a powerful shotgun it's up there with most tier 3 weapons. You're able to parry, which reduces a considerable amount of damage which make it great for dealing with larges. The Frost Fang is practical in almost every situation. However, I am a little upset the axe falls short since, there is never an opportune time to use it effectively without getting punished when committing to a hit. That being said, it's a reliable weapon.
The map Elysium was created by Seanchaoz. Originally, Elysium was a custom map on the workshop that has now been made an official map. By far, Elysium is the most unique out of the roster of maps. Complete with secrets and easter eggs, it stands out for it's ambitious design and I applauded it. The theme is the map is outer worldly, bizarre and mysterious. The maps detail is astonishing, one area never feels the same it's one of it's strong points. Despite it's presentation, I can't help but feel this map was rushed in some aspects. The map layouts weren't fleshed out enough resulting in inconsistent gameplay throughout some areas. The zed spawning is too rampant, and there are no notable choke points to hold consistently. Kiting is challenging since, the zed spawns are inconsistent and placed in inconvenient positions that restricts player mobility. Despite these setbacks, it is quite an enjoyable map with great attention to detail with clever use of map assets.
This run took me quite a while to complete since I wanted to showcase the secret areas of the map in one run. To activate the secrets, you need to get two of the areas early and collectibles. I've reset countless times because of the random sequence's of the areas. Because of this, Old Town and The Void were left out on the video. Perhaps it's worth it to go back and showcase them for another day. Thanks for watching, enjoy!

I feel like the Axe is only useful to save ammo against weaker trash like clots and crawlers or in the hands of the Berserker.
Another thing to point out for those who don't know, the axe does 2.46x damage against any frozen enemy that's another opportunity to use the axe.
It works great on scrakes
Parry is nice too.
Without any perk bonus, the melee damage is 75 against normal enemies but 185 against frozen enemies. Zerk and Survivalist can use the axe part better since they have high damage and attack speed bonus. Support has powerful shotguns so they can resort to those.
Best in the hands of the survivalist cuz you get the movement speed bonus with it as if counts as a melee weapon for him. Also you have a faster walk speed.

They now have season armory pass, in my country its about 8-9 dollars for all the dlc weapons and it will unlock 5 more throughout the year till 2022
This map is a showcasae to how great of a game this is. But I feel as though heavy price tags and just not a lot of advertising leads to a lot less popularity. Also, a lack of utubers and streamers for it doesn't help.

@@Carsaib Since noone responded to you about this map let me break this down. Most of the maps in KF2 have corridors and doorways while some have the machine you saw of map hopping. He got very lucky on his maps as there is one that is cursed. imagine 2 small platforms you have to fight on with glowing goo surrounding the entire map and a shower of poison that is hard to avoid just to cross to the other side. the platforms also have enemy spawns all around you as you fight from all angles. Not so bad you might think hard yes but not impossible, well it gets worse as if you have to move in this chaos and for some reason i don't know a fleshpound or scrake spawns on top of you because you got this map late into the rotation, you can easily lose a third of your health from one swing or half as he double hits you. combine this with a knockback affect and you have a solid definition of hell on earth in one part of one map.
Please don't take this as an attack on you my friend, I just hate one part of this map but overall its cool.
@@BrotherVoidBomber I died in this map 30 mins ago. So many mobs and confusing map layout. And in multi-player there's too much mob spam, everyone got separated and died.

hey nice vid! I did this on HoE Endless with of 3. its pretty tough.
It was only on hard when I did this in endless, but on console making it to wave 50 on this with a good team was quite tough
Joined a random match in March making and we had 2 supports, I'm not sure if there is a glitch on xbox one but only one ammo create spawns on the round 1 map if that makes sense, so having 2 supports is important atm

Honestly, i feel like the new axe shotgun whatever gun feels underpowered, both for support and berserker. On berserker the one thing that makes it a berserker weapon is like using a nerf football, and on support it doesnt do enough damage compared to the other tier 3 shotguns. I might have some bias in this as I feel like its only good as a backup when your aa12 or doomstick runs dry. Not worth using primarily

I’d love if you could post one of these as gunslinger, me and a few friends just bought the game and I’m maining it after medic. I’d love to see some more recent solo gameplay so I can know how to operate when my team sucks lol
Buy deagles, upgrade them, win. So long as you're aware of your surroundings, have good aim, and can reload cancel (melee attack when you see the gun has ammo in bottom right, even if animation hasn't finished), and you're good to go. Gunslinger is absolutely busted.

I’m a beserker main now though, even better for hard carrying once you practice takedown combos. Kinda more busted lol

Killing Floor 1 Didnt have crosshairs either, So I just leave it off for Purists sake.
As far as im aware turning it on or off makes no difference.
Its easy either way. U get used to where to shoot

Is there any way to level up faster?
On pc look for servers with killbox2019... it takes two waves or 14 mins of leveling by throwing grenades into a box of fleshpounds to get a class from 0-25. On double xp weekends it will take one round or 7 minutes to reach 25.

@@von.3d there should still be revisions of this map. Usually 2-3 servers would run this for several hrs at a time. Just search the servers for killbox map if that doesn’t show then search every single server and order them by map and see if you find any that say killbox in them.
