Knowing Ubisoft, them pulling off a proper KSG reload is a very welcoming surprise.
Yeah, the empty reload animation is very nice to see, but it takes more times to fully reload it.
@@firemario8126 To be fair, this game is very fast paced. So slow reloads would be very frustrating.

Finally ! To be honest i really like the effort they put in the various new guns animations, and the sounds are still crispy and nice overall, for exemple, the KSG animations is one of the only i see where the character actually fills the second tube, thats great
Tbh, both tubes are filled also in BO2 if Fast Mags are equipped and I can assume Battlefield Hardline but the reload is off-screen tho unfortunately......

Trust me. No one (80% of people who play games) with no knowledge of guns care about this nitpick.
If I didn’t know about mirroring, I’d just think it was a different configuration, like how the same firearms are made differently for those with different hand-dominance.

Yes. If it did, then people would go on saying how Infinity Ward revolutionized gun animations (NGL the M133 swaying kind of looks like the Model 680 swaying)

Most are recycled but they are actually good. The new ones aren't bad either. Also ubisoft finally listened and increased the fov.
Edit: you missed the unique weapons ( normal weapons but with custom skins)

mirrored bullet/shell case ejector is still there since FC2.
if you criticize this problem, you better criticize other problems as well. like how they keep using the same recycled guns inappropriately no matter what geographical location the story takes place. even some of the new guns in this FC6 was added in the most inappropriate mean possible - the Groza out of fcking South America.

20:54 I'm sure other games have that revolving rifle, but I've only ever seen it in Battlefield 1 so it's inclusion is honestly pretty welcome. It's a neat and rare firearm.

Another thing I noticed was the fact that on a good amount of the guns, Dani actually retains the magazine on a tactical reload, props for attention to detail
those keltec animations are fantastic. Especially the KSG.
I love farcry animations bc you can still say "oh this is farcry" and not like cod-esque animations after mw2019.
exactly, many games are just trying to copy MW19 but it's refreshing to see a different style of animations
AS-VAL, and FAL is an exception. But other than that the rest is just Far Cry.

Never thought i would see non Mw19 esque animations on a 2021 AAA game, i feel like thats a good thing.
The guns were such a massive improvement overall..i actually enjoyed using them
I want them to add the Glock 17 and G36C in the next Far Cry
They could also add the FX, which is a Mexican rifle that takes inspiration from the G36.
I doubt they will ever get glock rights as glock doesn’t like to give licensing rights

Haven't played it yet but animations and visual feedback looks good.
The Variety alone makes it worth a lot more than anything from Far Cry 5.
They’re actually really good for the most part and this game so far seems to be far cry back on track
However one thing that’s funny to be is that only like half the ARs do tactical reloads instead of most of the guns overall lol but it’s neat they added them in
If you turn off screen shake in game option, it has no recoil at all.

The FN FAL was very popular in Cuba when Castro was in power which it was then phased out in favor of the AK-47.
The totally modded out KSG is so good i'm not even carrying an assault rifle. The trick is to reload frequently when you have time to do it

I am slightly disappointed by the SKS reload, the rounds would not go in if you push them in like they do in the game. Nonetheless I am very happy to see the SKS in game, as well as the FAL. The AK reload is different than what we usually see and it's a nice change of pace
I love Far Cry weapons and the reload animations I never use the fast reload perk so I can the reload Everytime and save my perk points for other stuff
And the SPAS12 is still not reloaded correctly.
You'd think they'd know by now how to correctly animate the SPAS12 reload, considerig they've done it correctly in R6 Siege.
This game had the best weapon FOV in the franchise.

I'm noticing with closed bolt weapons that when a partial reload is performed the extra round in the chamber seems to disappear. The mp5 fires from a closed bolt. If a 30 round magazine is loaded and one is in the chamber then the count should be 31 rounds. The charging handle isn't locked to the rear either so that one round that would be left isn't even ejected.
Far Cry never had the “one in the chamber” mechanic.

@Adolf Hitler in war and a real world situation, the assumption is soldiers have multiple mags and throw empty mags on the ground. Civilians who own guns on the other hand obviously should keep the empty magazines to refill later.
The pivoting at the end of every reload is too strange for it to be authored by the artist and likely to be controlled by script
It's probably made so animations can blend well to the rest of the animations after reloading to the next state

Kar98 is a little overused imo. I'd say we should get the experimental version of the Springfield M1903, which featured a strange detachable magazine mechanic that never made it into the final product.
