- We had so much fun filming this video and visiting Kuala Lumpur's most loved food spots and dishes. Our recent Kuala Lumpur videos have received so much support and great recommendations for places to check out and must try dishes right here in the city and we had to get out and try as many as we could🍴
A massive thank you to everyone that has left us a comment and gave us a recommendation because they have not went unnoticed and we had so much fun exploring the local areas of the city and some of Kuala Lumpur’s most loved food 🤤

Hey, we're Eoin and Aisling, a couple from Ireland who have packed their bags, waved goodbye to home and set off to travel the world in search of new adventures!
We started our journey by spending 3 months walking from the top to the bottom of Croatia and exploring a few of the boarding countries. Then at the start of January 2022 we hopped on a flight to South East Asia!
We hope to be in this part of the world for the next year, but who knows what might happen along the way, our plans are forever changing!
We tend to plan each day as it comes and can't wait to see what the world has in store for us!
Peace out x
That dessert is Kunafa Cheese... Delicious Turkish dessert. So a good sign of cosmopolitan KL is u can find any food in the world here... The green bits are pistachios.
Aw thank you for letting us know, we had no idea lol but yeah we love the diversity in the city and across the country. It feels like whatever cuisine you are looking it's here somewhere
Knafeh is a Palestinian dessert originated from the city of Nablus in Palestine.
Nasik lemak... Cendol.. Chakoetiaw.. Buger ramli.. Keropok lekor.. Goreng pisang... Nasik kandar.. Apam balik...nasik goreng. Roty canai...ais kacang.. Roti kaya.. Bihun sup... 😍😍👍
There's still so many things to try!!
dont worry guys.. im pretty sure easy 10k subscribers for you guys in few weeks time.. malaysian will support you guys
Aw that would be amazing, thank you so much for your support 💛
Great job guys. You did well! Thank you!
Aw thank you so much!!!
Glad you enjoyed Malaysian food & the City It's not perfect but please enjoy what we have to offer & that Ramly burger what a great treat to end the day.Cheers! ♥️
We have loved our time here and have had only good experiences so we have alot of good things to take away from the city and the country!!
It's not to much to say our ramly burger is second to none. No way in any part of the world (even in US) serve quality street burger like in Malaysia.
We wish you could get them everywhere, we are missing them so much
Ramly Burger is the brand of the Beef or Chicken Patty. They also have the more exotic patties like lamb, rabbit and turkey (I think). Each and every Vendor has their own take on the presentation and toppings. Like sauces, vegetables & onions and egg to wrap or sunny side up.
Oh this is so interesting, we thought it was all kind of the same style but that's good to know, thank you for sharing
Glad to know that you tried the Ramly burger..the messy it looks the more delicious it is. Besides, its cheaper.
Haha that's a good rule to go by and yeah we couldn't believe how cheap it was!
I make quality Ramli Burger at home at very cheap price.
Watching this while eating pot noodles in Liverpool. God i miss Malaysia’s food. 😂
Haha we miss Malaysian food too, nothing beats it 🙌🏻
So lovely couple... Enjoy your stay in this heavenly land of Malaysia bro and sis..

Ramly burger cheap and yummy 👍
It was indeed!!
Kampung baru (come-pung bar-roo) is a heritage malay village still standing within the metropolis after decades of developments all around this enclave. kampung = village, baru = new.
Wanjo for the nasi lemak with various options for the accompanying lauk: chickens, beef, cockles, etc.
Chunburi at the bend for a lunch of nasi campur (white rice with various lauk options) also for their variety of traditional kelantan kuihs (lompat tikam, tepung bungkus, etc) as well as traditional malay bubur (sweet porridge like corn, mung bean, etc)
That's such a coll translation, it was a cool experience to see such an authentic place in the middle of the big city! We really enjoyed visiting here
Nice video! We are fam of 5, would u recommend we use grab rather than LRT bc we are so many? We are staying in Kampung Baru in Jan, looking fwd to eating some good food! Those turkish treats seemed a bit expensive no? 😂
Can try ABC bistro for nasi kandar nearby Brickfield.
Oh we will have to look out for it
The beauty of Rambly burger is it messy that you enjoy it hahaha...some double the meat......we feel its better than the McD burger..hehe...
I think we would have to agree, we doubled the meat in ours and ohh it was good. We got quite a few ramlys while in KL and no McDonald's haha says it all
You guys should also try Lake Titiwangsa
We wish we visited here while we were there but just didn't have the time but hopefully we will get a chance to go back again
Try Bubur Lambok Pak Hassan at Kampung Baru
Oh we will have to try
balik2 duk cadangkan regular dish je... mana la nasi kerabu, nasi dagang, masak lemak cili api, ikan patin masak tempoyak the true authentic malaysia dish
Tapi kan bro Mcm mana la org arab pulak boleh berniaga kat kampung baru ke skg???...nampak nya skg Malaysia penuh dgn warga asing berniaga x tahu la ada lesen perniagaan atau bayar cukai tak tu.
Try satay Kajang....
Oh we will add it to our list thank you
Try eat laksa sarawak bro 👍
We will have to give it a go!
You should make a visit to famous Connaught night market (every Wed after 5pm)
We did!! And we had the best night there
Ramli burger is legend 🫡🫡🫡

the red sauce i call sambal
Oh thank you!!
# "Balah-ElSham".. aka (young dates from countries of the Levant's territory) = Lebanon, Syria, Palestine and Jordan..
Young dates before riping are called "balah/rutab" usually yellow or dark red in color.. which doesn't resembles with the sweet at all, except shape wise maybe..
By the looks, my best guess is, the whole spread of "baklawas " and "kunafas" are more of Syrian origin.. 🤔🙃
Because of its identicaly similarities, only nationality of the maker defies where these middle eastern dessert delicacies are from, controversially which will also includes the Egyptians, Greeks, Turkish and the Caucasus countries, each naming some of their items differently.. 😅
Oh woah this is so interesting! Thanks for sharing, this local stand was Turkish but the origin is probably up for discussion. I wouldn't have a clue haha so I'll stay out of that one
Nice..🍔
It was so so tasty
You need to jog in the evening at the KLCC Park to reduce fats and stay healthy.
We do indeed! Have to stay fit and healthy during our travels, especially when we eat such good foods
Or go to lake titiwangsa, either in the morning or late afternoon, have a few rounds of jogging or brisk walking round the lake, then head to a stall there where you guys should immediately share some abc and cendol together 😋😋😋
haha sapa la cadangkan tapak kat dorang ni
🍔😋😋👍👍👍💖
🤤🤤🤤
KL have Kg Baru.... Malacca have Kg Morten 👍
Kampung baru no peanuts ya
Have you visited RexKL near Petaling street at Jalan Sultan, you will be surprised by the book shop & instagrammable vibe
Oh I'm not sure if we did, we walked around alot of different streets that were so picture perfect so we might have been there without realising lol
The cheesy dessert is called kunafa
It was good!!!!
Enjoy your trip in malaysia.. Mostly of tourists will gain weight after a week in malaysia...
We might need some time off travelling to get back to the gym haha
GJ 👍👍
Thank you!!!
Why you two go to getting highland to make some fun and vacation.
We really wanted to but just didn't have enough time, maybe in the future
10:55 Nasi means rice in Malay language, and the 'si' is pronounced 'si' in 'since'.
Thank you! Thanks to everyone commenting we are slowly learning about the translations but I think we need alot more practice with our pronunciation 🙈
@@EoinandAisling malay words are pronounced as they are spelled. A is aa, E as ee, I as ee, o is O and U as uu. Malay language is very easy to learn... anyway u need to know the basics like terima kasih is thank you. Sama sama is welcome.
Nasi, rice, na as in nah, and si as in the spanish si senorita! 😬
@@EoinandAisling you could arrange a get together at a mamak restaurant in KL wth your fans, perhaps limit it max of 6 pax per session. Then, they could teach you to pronunce those basic words and the meaning/translationof the food in the menu. We cld go dutch or the malaysians will buy you meals.. hahah
We will try and get better and start to use these words, terima kasih
Ramly Burger better than McDonald's ? 😍
Without a doubt lol I wish we could get ramly burgers everywhere
How to say:
Roti kanai = wrong
Roti chanai = YES
Thank you for correcting us we need all the help we can get haha
Canai as in char-nuy (nuy rhymes with aye)
It is not Ramli burger if it is not messy. Definitely not the food to try on a first date..
Haha that would be a messy first date if you did haha
Where is your T shirt from
A unique boutique 😉
From the polo club 🤪
What is the price of the Turkish food that you buy?
It was a total of 24 ringgit! I think 12 for the cheese square and 10 for the box of treats but I can't fully remember the breakdown
dessert that you've after the nasi lemak not exactly malaysian dessert, it's turkish
Well the Turkish dessert was calling our names haha and when there’s that big of a queue you have to give it a go
Food truck park
It was good
@@EoinandAisling in malaysia, if you have bad food you will be closing down the business very fast(sooner than expected), because we like cheap and nice food.
I thought that was Justin Timberlake 😂😂😂
When and where?! Haha
@@EoinandAisling 😚 on the thumbnail
@@LylaZeus oh hahah well eoin will be happy with that one 😂😂😂
you not far from the bird park.3000 birds, 200 species
We walked past it actually it looked very good
Make sure trillionaire me
you guys could easily put on few kgs eating Msian food 😅
For sure!!! Food is too good to say no too but we are going to have to start or these bellies will be getting bigger haha
Whats the name (of the dish?)...
Mohammed (his name).. LOL
Turkish / Arabian desserts... good food... you haven't been recommended as it is not local... but good nevertheless... that green stuff is pistachios...
Kampung Bharu (lit: New Village)
Kampung Baru was established in 1899 by a grant from the then-Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah, to allow the Malays to retain their village lifestyle within the city.[1] It was formally gazetted as the Malay Agricultural Settlement in 1950.[2]
TAPAK (lit : site)
That is so interesting, thank you for sharing. We felt like we had to try even though it was not recommended and we are very glad we did! So good to see so many cultures and cuisines celebrated throughout the city and country
Not to be rude or anything but I have to give your pronunciation of our foods an F 😂 props to the shop owners for being able to understand your orders. I wouldn't know what you meant if you didn't put the screenshots of the names
Every time we order we do ask again how to say it lol but we take no offense we know it is really bad haha
A friendly advice....try not to put on some weight while in Malaysia....it's hard not to do so here
We are going on a good diet once we leave haha but we can't say no to the good food
butcher that pronunciation bro, but good job
We need alot of practice haha
Be warned: Malaysians are the most obese in SEAsia. And Malaysia also has the highest incidence rate for type 2 diabetes. But we die happy.
Well as long as you die happy that's the main thing 🙌🏻 haha
😱
😃😃😃😃😁😆😆😂🤣🤩
🇲🇾🇰🇵🇮🇱🇬🇧😚
So many amazing cultures
Ermmm...I don't like sorry..
That's okay, thanks for watching anyway 😊
