Did you visit the ostrich farms in Oudtshoorn, Andre? Your former GoPro mike setup works perfectly. I have to try out my new mike idea with the new DJI Action 3 (replacing a GoPro 7) - when it's warmer again. Wish I had your weather and trials, Günter/Nürnberg
I drove past them but didn’t go in. Short on time this time and roads and passes to ride. The GoPro setup is great except for the weight. With the mic adapter it pulls the mounts off a helmet in hot weather. I think I’ve sorted the DJI mic though, so will persevere with that.
@@PeakMotorcycles Next visit bring more time, Andre, stop at a farm and experience farm life. Ostrich steak is supposed to be healthier than red meat and quite tasty, too. Good luck with the new DJI, Günter/Nürnberg
@@enduromotorradtouren I quite like ostrich meat and was able to try it there. I also get plenty of farming stuff at home (mine are sheep not ostriches though). I’ll see what I can find when I go back. Apparently I missed a dirt bike collection near Knysna too!
All that way and no visit to Smitswinkle where there is a massive classic dirt bike collection and the Motorcycle Room in Knysna. I bet your subscribers would've loved to see but maybe not?
Next time. It was getting late in the day and I had a friend to visit I hadn’t seen for over 10 years. Good to know about the collection though. I’ll make a point of visiting next time and you have my apologies for missing it.
