      I will try to say this in the politest way possible - not taking sides is taking sides. By not condeming an illegal invasion of a peaceful country and speaking about how great everything is in occupied territory is disgusting, to be frank. By trying to not be political, you are being political. Just in a way that you did not intend. You come off as a sympathiser of Russia, even if you aren't. Would expect a bit more wisdom and tact from an experienced guy like you.

    Hi Pavlin! Nice to know You was in Crimea in 2023. We hadn't got there due to other plans, and this year we also have other plans to travel. We love the Crimean Peninsula very much, and usually we have a camping trip there for one month or even more. We live in tents and travel across the land. There really a lot of roads to ride and tracks to hike. The vast amount of ancient cities and caves. We both, my wife and I have relatives and friends there, so there are so many advises where to go and what to see. Hope there is not your last time in Crimea. The absolutely great place to travel by car of bike. Thanks!

    In the late 90s we did a "Circle the Baltic" trip in winter in 4 Land Rovers, we were told that the Baltic States were dangerous, with machine guns on the petrol stations. So 3 of the vehicles didn't want to go and caught a ferry to Germany and I went alone, no problems. I just realised you are in Eastern Ukraine, wow my 90s trip to the Baltic States was not just at war.... I did go to Croatia 3 years after the war there and they hadn't done that much in that time. Still kinda horrific, but It's good they're not leaving it in ruins and are speeding up the rebuilding so people can live there. I hope the new buildings are of good enough quality. I wonder if the destroyed single-family houses were replaced by apartment complexes (that's what developers do). There is still war, but there's probably no military target nearby to drone-bomb, so it's probably far from attacks, but who knows what will happen later... Did you film Melitopol too?

    Hi Pavlin, how did you cross into Ukraine? I saw through Crimea. But how did you get into Crimea? Boat or through Krasnodar/Crimean bridge (google says it's closed) or some other way? Sorry I don't follow every video so I'm not even sure if this is from the start or end of your Magadan journey as to know the general direction you traveled. I know bank cards don't work, but I heard you can normally go into bank and there use your card to withdraw rubles, correct? I will be going from Georgia to Czechia this summer and I always wanted to try this Crimean route instead of Turkey. Is it possible to easily cross the fighting line? Where did you cross it if you even had to cross it? I know the situation changes, it's 1 year later and most likely the situation will change again but at least I get a rough idea and not get stuck in Ukraine with no way out lol. Was anyone trying to delete your footage on the border, checkpoint etc.? Maksimov border crossing was possible to Rostov?

      @@motorcycleadventureslive Well thank you guys for your insightful answers! Superbly "helpful"! None of that I have found in your videos (bank cards, Maksimov or figting line crossing). Google map of this episode ends in Crimea. Only thing I learned from previous 2 episodes is that you need some blue card to cross (no explanation btw) the bridge and that gps doesn't work. This area is full of mystery and danger and you are playing hard to get like a little spoiled girls? Really? I guess admiki9808 is just a keyboard warrior playing wiseguy, never left his house. Zero added value to the conversation. But I expected more of you Pavlin. In every one of your videos you say how you are here to help? I have watched at least hundred of your videos. Was that just empty phrase? It certainly seems so now..

    • @motorcycleadventureslive
      @motorcycleadventureslive  Месяц назад +1

      In every episode, I showed all of my steps, how I made my Russian bank card, how I crossed the borders, and many more. I don't think that you can find a better source of information for traveling by motorcycle in Russia. It is not my fault that Google does not allow me to make a route. It is their policy, but the road is there and it is open to everyone. The blue card was given at the checkpoint once you are ready, and you have to give it to the last guard at the door. I went to Crimea through the bridge and went back through the new territories, around Azov sea. If you want me to tell you everything, here in the comments it will not happen. Watch this video it might help you: ruclips.net/video/xKT7DtcBvEE/видео.html

    • @kovrcek
      @kovrcek Месяц назад

      @@motorcycleadventureslive thank you! watched the video you linked but no bank card info. any idea in which episode (roughly) it is explained? I was thinking how you crossed the fighting line and then realized it's probably stupid, it's unofficial border so can't be crossed. So you went like Crimea-Mariopol-Rostov loop right? Then back to Europe through Finland. Sadly that's too many kms for me and I don't have that much vacation. You are one lucky guy, so much time, money and no wife issues :D Maybe the war will stop soon and we can visit normally..I wish

    GPS is used for missile/drone guidance so the Russian Army is certainly jamming its frequencies on this side. Maybe it works with Glonass (russian GPS) and/or Beidou (chinese) even if it'd be surprising. Definitely not Galileo (EU) tho since some missiles provided by France and UK to Ukraine probably use it too (SCALP/Stormshadow).
    Thanks a lot Pavlin for the report. It's really impressive how fast the Russian Federation is rebuilding everything after they've liberated the city.

    Wish we had these new roads in Australia. Major 4 lane highways are rough surfaced and have potholes. Australian government would take 50 years to rebuild a war zone compared with 12 months for Russia. Russia cares about its people.

    Usually I don't leave negative comments, but since you passed district where I lived (20:10) I have to give you feedback. Thia video and comments - completely bullshit and disrespectful for locals! You passed by ONLY main road, which ia highway now to Crimea and which they are going rebuild asap and of course the will do renovation around it. But did you turned to any corners behind it!? Not showed to everyone "brand new fans and asfalt" there!? Because its not existing until now.
    After such video sone people might start really believe that russians made us a favour and made us free from our home and our life...

      Of course I definitely will, when will be able to return.
      But my message was about - its not correct to say "I'm showing real picture" by fillming 35 new residential buildings and construction on the main road in a city where were living over half a million. Yes, they rebuild, but its 0,5% of what we had.
      It all might look like these peace makers building paradise for us, and this what exactly propaganda showing!This is reason of my reaction.

    Thanks for your efforts to show us around also war zones. People who feel the need to leave a negative reaction just oversee the fact that ALL of this territory is predominantly ethnic Russian. For example the town you have slept, Dzankoi or any Crimean town people can check the census fm UKR times too. Crimea is 68% ethnic Russian, with over 90% speaking Russian.
    I am writing this so we might understand that people may have felt misrepresented by a government who decided to go to the other direction and that's the main reason for unrest in these territories.
    And congrats to Russia which makes huge efforts to grant their citizens a life back to normality.
