Hello Pavlin. I am from Croatia 20 days ago I passed through Romania and Bulgaria on a motorcycle. I drove past your city of Varna, towards Sunny beach and Bansko and then North Macedonia. Everything was excellent from accommodation, food, roads and beautiful scenery. There were no problems. People are skeptical for only one reason in my opinion, and that is that they are not informed .But nowadays I can't understand it because you have the internet and just read. big greetings
About 15 years ago I toured Bulgaria in a car and I loved the place. A lot of natural beauty and fascinating older places Velika Tarnavo for instance is amazing. Mind you, the car hire company refused to insure the car wheels against damage because there were so many potholes. Would love to visit again on my bike.
I have been to Bulgaria on my motorcycle from the UK and I can honestly say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Through Greece I first stopped at Melnik then onto Lyulin in Sofia which I was told I would be robbed and beaten. Instead I met some people in a restaurant and they invited me to stay with them. Next day I rode over to Plovdiv, along the way I stayed for lunch at a roadside diner. They are everywhere in Bulgaria but I can’t remember the name, but the food was fantastic. Please tell me the name Pavlin. Plovdiv was a revelation, it is such a beautiful historic city and again the people were great. From Plovdiv I went over the mountains to Kavala in Greece. Bulgaria and its people are great and I would highly recommend it.
i have a language question. i'm from the middle of the united states so we have a little bit different here. But travelling Europe, and living in the UK, what is it like knowing different languages? do you have a handle on different languages? Or is it more that everyone else has a handle on English? I assume you have to get used to some language barriers, maybe use an electronic device is hand gestures aren't enough?
@@daftnord4957 usually you'll get by easily with english, but there are exceptions. For the most part, if you speak slowly and audibly in english you'll be fine pretty much everywhere in europe
@@daftnord4957 English is a common thing in Bulgaria specifically (can't really speak much about the rest of EU because I haven't traveled too much). Most people from the younger generations either speak English to the point where you can have a conversation or they know somebody who does. Older folks are a bit different of a different story because standard education used to include Russian back in the day, instead of English, so it might be more difficult with them.
My daughter 27, had a high speed motorcycle accident, 2 weeks ago, lucky to be alive. I thank god that she for once listened to me..so she wore full motorcycle gear.. without the gear, I would have lost her, so listen to Pavlin.
"If any car makes a simple mistake you'll be in trouble." Here in the U.S. I tell people that if the car does something stupid they will pay with money and insurance cost. But you'll pay in blood and pain. So it doesn't matter if an accident is the car's fault, it's up to you to be aware of every other vehicle and make yourself as safe as possible.
Exactly right my friend! I never understood the people who go by "it's their fault"... Well yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that you're the one who's injured. Stay safe!
Hi Pavlin, I am from turkey. Two years ago, I passed through Bulgaria on my motorcycle from Turkey to Europe. I stayed only 1 night in Sofia. I only know the roads I passed and I had not thought of driving the Bulgarian route again. but I realized that I need to make a separate trip to Bulgaria with your video. I will definitely travel to your country. I think you did a good job giving information about your own country. thanks.
Go to Bulgaria guys! In 2021, I went for a week on the coast of the Black Sea, to the south of Bulgaria. I visited several objectives seen in Pavlin in the films. Last weekend was in Balchik. The national roads are very good, the secondary roads have potholes, but that's part of the adventure. It may be harder with speed bikes, but with a taller bike, it will be a pleasure. I had a problem with a hotel reservation, but I got my money back and booked elsewhere, there are dozens of hotels wherever you go. You can experience such problems in other countries of the world. Go to Bulgaria and you will discover a "different" but beautiful country! Otherwise... kamenitza, burgasko, shumensko... 😁😁😁
So far I've visited Veliko Tarnovo (x5), Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora (x2), Nova Zagora (x2), Shipka Pass (x3), Buzludzha, Haskovo, Sozopol, Nessebar, Golden Sands (x3), Varna (x2), Shumen, Razgrad, Dobrich. Also we criss-crossed Bulgaria several times while going or returnig from either Greece or Turkey. These are places where we stood at least for a night but also passed through. Bulgaria is a beautiful country and hope to visit again soon on my motorcycle. Also, I think that drivers in Bulgaria are more responsible then drivers in my country: Romania. The only issue at bulgarian drivers seems to be high risk overtaking.
I was asking one of my friends from Romania about Bulgaria, he said it was a fantastic place to visit. Odviously he mentioned not as good as Romania but he's proud of his country also.
A beautiful country indeed, with helpful people, good food and low prices in comparison to other popular destinations. Worth visiting 100%. Greetings from Romania!
A very good promotional video of our homeland, made professionally, candidly and honestly. Well done Pavlin, continue in the same spirit and advertise our country. Благодаря за хубавото видео.
Hi Pavlin, a very nice promotion of your own country :) it has to be praised. I can only confirm that Bulgaria is a very diverse country in terms of landscape - everything is as you describe. A few years ago I toured Bulgaria and the Rhodope Mountains made the biggest impression on me. Greetings from Poland Tomek
Thank you for the great video! I think that many of the things you said apply as well to my country, Romania. I did travel to Bulgaria several times and I will do it again. It has many things to offer.
Definitely want to visit Bulgaria as soon as possible! Also, I see t-shirt/flip-flop riders on the streets every now and then here in Slovenia as well and I shake my head every time… Thank you for this informative video about your beautiful country! 👍
Hey Pavlin, nice video, as always! I am from Romania, south of Romania, and I often travel with my motorcycle in Bulgaria, usually Veliko area. I think some of the stuff presented here are valid also for Romania (including the condition of some roads). Greetings from Bucharest!
I traveled through Bulgaria last week coming from Romania and I agree that the roads need fixing but I have a tenere 700 like you and bad roads are no problem for this bike. Also your b-roads up on the mountains are very beautiful to ride. I had a very good time and I intend to visit Bulgaria again.
Great video Pavlin and some day I hope to be able to ride those pot-holed roads with my Tuareg. Right now I will continue to dodge similar holes on the roads of Colorado-U.S. Blaze on and thanks for showing us your country. Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you for this video! I am moving to Bulgaria next month for a few years. I'll be traveling from France with my 1200 GS and I plan to take advantage of my stay to explore Bulgaria by motorcycle!
Buy a good theft insurance, and park your bike in a very safe place. I was living in Bulgaria in the 90's and in summer of 95 my Suzuki 650 DRSE 92' got stolen from inside the building even though it was chained to the wall and the metal gate was usually closed.
Hi Pavlin, just one small correction - God had no land left to give to the Bulgarians so he gave us a piece of Paradise :) I am from Bulgaria living in Germany as you did. Every book or video series there that is for travelling includes every land in the Balkans except ours. I believe all countries around us are also special but we are always excluded for some reason. Sometimes I wonder if this is better because if you go the dirt roads you have your privacy and not 100 other travelers... On the other hand if one doesn't visit Bulgaria would have missed the Paradise on Earth ;) Very good video! Благодаря!
Mate this story with the paradise has been adopted by many countries, I have heard in Georgia, Montenegro and Romania. This does not change the fact that Bulgaria is beautiful, but not well maintained.
Ok, a British perspective on riding in Bulgaria. I have done it many times and I keep a motorcycle in Bulgaria at a friends house. Great place to ride as the roads are very quiet in the countryside compared to the UK, especially in the southeast. The summer weather is great and the diversity of scenery is huge. However, there are some issues to be aware of. First off, Bulgarian drivers might have improved but some still drive with The Force. Overtaking on blind bends, pulling out without looking etc. On Shipka drivers just drive on the wrong side, In Tsarevo parked up on blind bends to take pictures of the sea etc etc. Apart from the potholes, the road surface is not grippy (corruption?) and stray dogs, goats, and horses are not unusual to be wandering randomly around. Bored police need no probable cause to pull you over on the road, The roads themselves sometimes have adverse cambers, not clearly marked lane lines. The MOT safety tests for cars and bikes are not strenuous so just be aware. However, I will be there in a few weeks and hope to ride to The black sea in safety bearing in mind you just have to be switched on and be aware it is not western Europe, just go and have fun on the quiet roads and enjoy the scenery and avoid the Chalga. ;)
Yes, it has many issues but that's why I said that it is the necessary step before you move to the east. Thanks for taking the time and sharing your experience!
Yeh, every time I go home (technically visit, but whatever) I experience the country in two waves. First it's all nice and beautiful... and then I scratch the surface, remembering why we left 😮💨 You're being exceedingly generous on the technical safety inspections, in my (arguably out of date) experience those tend to be a 20 and a signature most of the time. Per your points about drivers and roads, I'd suggest your safest route to the coast is up the motorway to Burgas. A whole lot less to go wrong there. Also - enjoy it before it's fallen apart 🤣 Less to see that way, but if you're leaving from Sofia you could always pull into Plovdiv or Stara Zagora for some rest, or trundle through any one of a number of villages dotted around.
Great Video. As an American, the thought of motorcycling around Europe is very intriguing. To experience so many different cultures and cuisines so close together would be amazing. I am particularly interested in the boundary between the west and the east.
Bulgaria has one of the most beautiful landscapes for cycling, riding, driving and hiking. Not much to see city wise in my opinion but still good to go and travel. I am from Romania and I totally recommend Bulgaria to visit with a motorcycle. Great motorcycle community too. Greetings.
Tour country looks amazing to explore. The roads look no worse than many parts of the UK, especially the the less populated areas. Thank goodness you wear the full protective gear…I see so many people in the UK riding in shorts and tee shirts. Remember, you should always dress for the slide, not the ride.
The major roads are actually almost perfect for the most part, they've resurfaced lots of them recently. It's only really the very minor roads and city roads which are like this!
Hi Pavel , Just got back from Bulgaria which I visited after watching your movies. I saw Miraculous Bridges, the Devil's Bridge, ate in a restaurant in Ardino, I slept at the Borovitsa hotel on the lake. Beautiful grounds. The beaches are as beautiful as in Poland, but the Black Sea is warmer. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm Hubert 52 years old from Poland, I drive on Tenere700, previously, like you on xt600z, best regards.
I was in Sofia last week on business, first time in Bulgaria. Awesome experience, beautiful city and wonderful people. Made my bucket list for a moto visit!
Been there last year. Great mountain roads, monuments and nice people. We the Portuguese do not travel often to Bulgaria because its way far, but I wonder when I’ll come back! Greets, stay safe.
I would say the 3 major risks in traveling around Bulgaria are 1) damaging your motorcycle/car on a broken road or slipping on sand, old oil or something else on the asphalt 2) refueling with dirty fuel (easily avoided if one uses the big chain petrol stations, like Shell, OMV, Lukoil or EKO) and 3) getting hit by a (drugged) racer wannabe (typically in a powerful German SUV) on the fast roads or by a drunken old idiot in a 30-years old car on the smaller, remote roads. The gangster stuff - robberies, car/bike theft - these are basically non-existent. And as a bonus "risk" - you can meet a corrupted traffic cop!! It's almost like an attraction for a person from the West. But if you are caught breaking the traffic laws, some cops will allude a bribe and happily take one. I've seen this and I've participated once even! It's an interesting experience 😄
If I was in Bulgaria, the quality of the roads would be my last concern. I saw how they drive there. I agree with u that u can feel much, much safer in Central or Eastern Europe now than in France, Belgium, UK... Your "cultural enrichment" works well - congrats 🙂
Greetings from neighbouring Greece. I've been to Bulgaria twice and I agree with everything you said.If you ride slowly and carefully, you can enjoy some absolutely stunning scenery! And whatever interactions I had with locals, were very wholesome!
We visited Bulgaria a few months ago and I didn't see enough after watching this. The main trip was to visit Greece and spent only a short time in your country...big mistake, so we will go back next year. We had a meeting in northern Italy so left early and missed a lot. Great video mate always factual. By the way I found your countrymen very friendly, the police stopped us a few times in our campervan coming out of Turkey looking for immigrants.
дравейте Very nicely told and certain aspects are correctly exposed and explained. Congratulations! I am from Romania and have traveled by almost all means of transport in Bulgaria since 2004. Bulgaria is a country that is very dear to me and every time I visit I discover beautiful places and good people. This year I will travel 720 km along the Danube as part of DunavUltra 2022. I will be on two wheels but without a motor :) (on a bicycle this time) I'm sure it will be a very nice experience with friends!
Hi Pavlin, thank you for this insightful video! I've been traveling your beautiful country around 1985 as a 19 y/o on a MZ ETZ250. Coming from East Germany it took 5 full days in the saddle to get there, the bike packed with spare parts and low tech camping gear. Back then there were almost no cars on Bulgarian roads, but donkey carts in the rural areas. No motorcycles at all. Danube river, Black Sea coast, Rila, Melnik, North Macedonia. What a wonderful country and great people. I always wondered how it would be now.
Hi Pavlin, I completed a ride around Bulgaria in 2018 as the Australian importer for BUMOT Motorcycle Luggage based in Sofia. To be honest, Bulgaria would never have been on my travel list prior to visiting there. I believe it’s a must see country for any adventure bike traveller. A very beautiful country to explore. Cheers Daryl Rolinson. Australia
Sound advice Pavlin! I always try to maintain a gap to the vehicle infront so I can react to anything either it does, or something on the road. As for car drivers, ALWAYS assume they are going to do something stupid and you can't go far wrong! Great video as always, keep riding safe! (Edit. Bulgaria looks amazing! So beautiful.)
Bulgaria looks badass and is definitely on my list now! No need to explain or apologize for potholes. If you’re an adventure rider and potholes are deal breaker than maybe you aren’t cut out for adventure riding. All part of the experience.
Wonderful - I love your passion and ability to honestly share your wisdom - thanks Pavlin, I promise to visit your beautiful country soon. Maf in England
Brilliant video! I was one of those bozos until 17min ago. You have just convinced me, thank you for your transparent and honest description of your beautiful country.
Thank you, for representing my country in such a beautifull way! I was working 4 years abroad, i was in the Netherlands, and yeah, there is also beautifull, i went trough Germany, Slovakia, Chech Republic, Serbia, Hungary, but never felt it more beautifull than Bulgaria! Never felt it more "warmer" than here! Bulgarians are for the most part very welcoming people and will ofer you the best hospitality you can expect! Also, for foreigners, you forgot to mention that prices here for renting a room in motel or hotel are usually cheap, as well as the food! Good tip is to use our national money, which is "Lev" or "Leva", as we dont use EURO as main currency!
Great episode. Bulgaria seems underrated from a US perspective Maybe old stereotypes change slowly. I’m sure you’ve opened some eyes to your beautiful country ! I’d love to ride there ✌️
Much the same here in East KY USA. Large trucks overweight bust up the road. Learn, sight distance. Never follow van, truck too close. Stay abreast of traffic. Yes, don't be, "That Guy". Keep your pony close and tied up. Reminds me a lot of home. Lot of mountains/forests/lakes /rivers. Great shot riding above the clouds with the sun in your face. Take care Pavlin. Be safe. RTW
Another great video Pavlin. I have enjoyed every visit to Bulgaria and always wished I had more time to spend exploring. I forgot the potholes after the first couples of days, they were easily made up for by the marvelous friendly welcome wherever I went. I have never felt unsafe in Bulgaria, and I recommend it to all my friends. I have travelled intercity by rail as well as exploring the countryside and the city people are just as friendly as the country folk. I especially liked the religious tolerance and great food and drink.
Been to Bulgaria in the 80’s twice and loved it beautiful country….would love to go back, and I will…. Very true honest review on riding bikes and how to keep safe…thank you and keep up the good work 👍
Thanks for this. I’ll work my way through the videos. Especially interested in learning about Sofia, fwiw, I’m from NYC and very interested in cities. Love your videos!
T Shirts and flip flops are common here in Sri Lanka and wearing protective gear happens once in a blue moon. After your advice I ride with protective gear that is not obvious (mono-color). Saw your videos on Bulgaria and enjoyed it. Bulgaria is on my list on my RTW trip (maybe next year). Varna also.
I have crossed Bulgaria 5 times since 2017 in my yearly Balkan Trip and everytime was a big surprise. I am still surprise how beautiful is. To make myself easily to be understood I had the opportunity to travel Norway, Finland, Germany, Spain, Poland,Slovakia, Slovenian,France,Russia during my time as a sportsman. We drove by car and I had time to see landscapes. My conclusion is that Bulgaria is amazing. And my friend you still missed many beautiful parts of your country. One example is the road to Buzludzha and the views on the way to get there. Another one is the beauty of Bulgarian City's like Ruse,Burgas,Veliko Trnovo,Nessebar,Kardjali, the vibe you get there going have a lunch in a usual restaurant and speak with local people. Bulgaria is really a nice experience. I am Romanian where things are still very close and still a very eastern air here compared to west.
Planning an adventure from Canada to Greece in the future.. I'll stop in Bulgaria to say hello and grab a drink with you.. thank you for your videos very helpful 👍🏻
I am planning to go on my first bigger cross-country trip from Germany to Greece in the next years. Your video convinced me to go through Bulgaria, and take the scenic route :)
Евалата! Продължавай да пътуваш и показваш красотата на България =] Определено видях нови места, които трябва да се посетят.. черния път над облаците, мале мале! 14:30
I am from Chile. And your roads are a bit like here. And I think your country is now safer than mine. And being technically part of a group but not quite is the best way to be in a group, imo.
I visited Bulgaria in 2019. Not any worse than Hungary and much better than Romania as per trafic discipline. People saw my foreign olates and were quite polite to let me in their lane etc etc
Bulgaria is really at the top of my list, this is the second video to convince me :D Hoping to go to one of the enduro tours first of all, then hopefully I'll be making the long trip riding all the way from Norway in the not to distant future.
Good and valuable instructions. We will pass though Bulgaria on our way to Türkiye soon. My experience is that each country warns you about the next country to be aware. Common sense and a friendly attitude is your best protection. :)
Great video Pavlin! 👍 I've been traveling around central Bulgaria for several days in 2019 and I can confirm everything you said. Escept for the road quality. I found them fairly good. Except for the road to the Buzludzha monument. That was kind of crappy towards the end. And there was quite a bit of garbage laying around on the car park there. 😟 In any case Bulgaria is a motorbike go-to country. Beatiful landscapes, affordable prices, good roads and most importantly great people! 🏍🏞🙏
In May 2022, I made a riding with YBR 125 from İstanbul-Turkiye to Odesa-Ukraine passing through Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova. Stayed in Burgas next to Black Sea. Great fun riding on lovely, curvy roads thru forests in Bulgaria. And nice people.
Pavlin, hello from Poland. Thank you for this episode! This September I will be visiting Rumunia and Bulgaria on my BMW f650gs - your videos are full of informations and will be very helpful. If we happen to meet in your part of the country I invite you to a big beer or Polish vodka!
If I had the ability to travel to Europe your country would be on my must see list. From watching your videos I have been blown away by how diverse and beautiful Bulgaria is. I'm hoping someday in the future things change in the world to where I can visit Bulgaria.
Hi, great video thanks. We are planing to come through Greece and want to visit; Shiroka Laka, Koprivshititsa, Shipka pass, Buzludzha, and we can also include some beautiful driving routes if you suggest.
I can't wait....as a future citizen of the world, I will NOT just be cruising through. I desire to truly Learn, Live and Appreciate the uniqueness in each country and ride all over for a month or more...Love it..keep it up...
Im in Montana now on my big air cooled Harley and not for the first time. Yes some potholes but we have them home as well. Here everywhere you go there is mountains always lovely views friendly people and just fantastic fruits vegetables and of course the food sallad rakia...

Hi Pavlin,
I am from turkey. I think you did a good job giving information about your own country. thanks.
Well, crossing Bulgaria on the highway will give you nothing! You definitely need to come again!
Thank you Pavlin! We are visiting Bulgaria this September for two weeks. We can’t wait. Cheers from Czechia
Have fun!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing!
I was asking one of my friends from Romania about Bulgaria, he said it was a fantastic place to visit.
Odviously he mentioned not as good as Romania but he's proud of his country also.
Fair enough! I also like Romania very much!
A beautiful country indeed, with helpful people, good food and low prices in comparison to other popular destinations. Worth visiting 100%. Greetings from Romania!
Well said!
A very good promotional video of our homeland, made professionally, candidly and honestly. Well done Pavlin, continue in the same spirit and advertise our country. Благодаря за хубавото видео.
Моля!
Hi Pavlin,
a very nice promotion of your own country :) it has to be praised. I can only confirm that Bulgaria is a very diverse country in terms of landscape - everything is as you describe. A few years ago I toured Bulgaria and the Rhodope Mountains made the biggest impression on me.
Greetings from Poland
Tomek
You are right! Rhodope Mountains is the best place to ride a motorcycle.
Thank you for the great video! I think that many of the things you said apply as well to my country, Romania. I did travel to Bulgaria several times and I will do it again. It has many things to offer.
Wonderful!
Definitely want to visit Bulgaria as soon as possible! Also, I see t-shirt/flip-flop riders on the streets every now and then here in Slovenia as well and I shake my head every time… Thank you for this informative video about your beautiful country! 👍
My pleasure!
Hey Pavlin, nice video, as always! I am from Romania, south of Romania, and I often travel with my motorcycle in Bulgaria, usually Veliko area. I think some of the stuff presented here are valid also for Romania (including the condition of some roads). Greetings from Bucharest!
Thanks for taking the time, Nick! Yes, we have many similar things with Romania.
Thanks for sharing!
Great video Pavlin and some day I hope to be able to ride those pot-holed roads with my Tuareg. Right now I will continue to dodge similar holes on the roads of Colorado-U.S. Blaze on and thanks for showing us your country. Absolutely beautiful.
My pleasure!
Thank you for this video!
I am moving to Bulgaria next month for a few years.
I'll be traveling from France with my 1200 GS and I plan to take advantage of my stay to explore Bulgaria by motorcycle!
Have fun!
Laurent, je roule en 1200 GS et j'habite vers Sozopol. Fais moi signe.
Благодаря!
It is what it is, Andrey! We cannot change the past but we can work to improve the future!
Mate this story with the paradise has been adopted by many countries, I have heard in Georgia, Montenegro and Romania. This does not change the fact that Bulgaria is beautiful, but not well maintained.
I can see that must be true - it truly is a paradise.
First it's all nice and beautiful... and then I scratch the surface, remembering why we left 😮💨
You're being exceedingly generous on the technical safety inspections, in my (arguably out of date) experience those tend to be a 20 and a signature most of the time.
Per your points about drivers and roads, I'd suggest your safest route to the coast is up the motorway to Burgas. A whole lot less to go wrong there. Also - enjoy it before it's fallen apart 🤣
Less to see that way, but if you're leaving from Sofia you could always pull into Plovdiv or Stara Zagora for some rest, or trundle through any one of a number of villages dotted around.
The last part of the last sentence is easily one of the best pieces of advice one could acquire.
Greetings.
Thanks for sharing!
no not much to see. just a European capital of culture cities but not a lot to see xd
Literally the oldest major city in Europe is here, tons of roman ruins everywhere, but somehow not much to see, okay.
I'm planning on buying a bike and riding from Athens, Greece to Razgrad to visit my cousin. Your video was extremely helpful! Keep up the good work!
Glad to help!
Tour country looks amazing to explore. The roads look no worse than many parts of the UK, especially the the less populated areas. Thank goodness you wear the full protective gear…I see so many people in the UK riding in shorts and tee shirts. Remember, you should always dress for the slide, not the ride.
Agree. Thanks for taking the time!
The major roads are actually almost perfect for the most part, they've resurfaced lots of them recently. It's only really the very minor roads and city roads which are like this!
I'll be in Bulgaria on the end of August, 3rd time for me. Great that you promote your country, what a great man you are!
Cool! Enjoy it!
Glad you enjoyed, Hubert!
hi. 14:30 where is this mountain .?
This is peak Botev, google it.
I was in Sofia last week on business, first time in Bulgaria. Awesome experience, beautiful city and wonderful people. Made my bucket list for a moto visit!
Great to hear!
You stole my heart a while ago Pavlin, with your no nonsense approach to motorcycle trips. And now you made Bulgaria also steal my heart....thanks.
My pleasure!
Been there last year. Great mountain roads, monuments and nice people. We the Portuguese do not travel often to Bulgaria because its way far, but I wonder when I’ll come back!
Greets, stay safe.
Glad you enjoy it!
Hi Pavlin! Just a general "Thank you!" from my side to you and all your work, info, recommendations, ideas, tips.....Keep on going please
Much appreciated!
Love your videos man, no bullshit, straight to the point. Can't wait to visit Bulgaria myself one day, greetings from Istanbul.
Thanks, man!
Oh mate, visit Moldova :) Bulgaria is like a german autobahn. weird comparison tbh
I have been there.
Bulgaristan ! our beautiful ''Komşu'' with amazing people .... Definetely worth for visiting. Thanks Pavlin !
My pleasure!
If I was in Bulgaria, the quality of the roads would be my last concern. I saw how they drive there.
I agree with u that u can feel much, much safer in Central or Eastern Europe now than in France, Belgium, UK... Your "cultural enrichment" works well - congrats 🙂
Thanks for taking the time!
Greetings from neighbouring Greece. I've been to Bulgaria twice and I agree with everything you said.If you ride slowly and carefully, you can enjoy some absolutely stunning scenery! And whatever interactions I had with locals, were very wholesome!
I will rather go to Bulgaria than London😂
Both got their charm! It is just different!
Great video Pavlin. Took your advice and am having a beer from my local brewery and enjoying the video.
Enjoy!
I find all I’ve ever seen of Bulgaria to be quite beautiful Pavlin. Great video as always. Ride On.
It really is!

Very nicely told and certain aspects are correctly exposed and explained.
I will be on two wheels but without a motor :) (on a bicycle this time)
I'm sure it will be a very nice experience with friends!
Enjoy it!
Great to hear it! Thanks for sharing!
Your advices will be precious all around the world for we bikers! Thanks for sharing, Pavilin.
My pleasure!
Thank you! I think as motovloggers, it is almost our duty to share the knowledge of our areas, for anyone interested in motorcycle travelling.
True!
Great vid and a beautiful country my friend! Thank you for showing us around and I hope to visit soon.Stay safe out there!!!
Any time!
Hi Pavlin,
I completed a ride around Bulgaria in 2018 as the Australian importer for BUMOT Motorcycle Luggage based in Sofia.
Thanks for taking the time!
Bulgaria looks badass and is definitely on my list now! No need to explain or apologize for potholes. If you’re an adventure rider and potholes are deal breaker than maybe you aren’t cut out for adventure riding. All part of the experience.
So, my mission is completed!
Wonderful - I love your passion and ability to honestly share your wisdom - thanks Pavlin, I promise to visit your beautiful country soon. Maf in England
Please do!
Brilliant video! I was one of those bozos until 17min ago. You have just convinced me, thank you for your transparent and honest description of your beautiful country.
Glad I could help!
I’d love to ride there ✌️
Very true, but more and more people will learn about it!
Be safe. RTW
Thanks, Sam! Good luck on your trips!
Thanks for sharing your experience!
So much good sence in this video, thank you!
Glad it helped!
Been to Bulgaria in the 80’s twice and loved it beautiful country….would love to go back, and I will….
Very true honest review on riding bikes and how to keep safe…thank you and keep up the good work 👍
Any time, Peter!
Is there are more likeable advertisement for riding Bulgaria than your video? I don't think so.
Just natural and straight forward.
Thank you!
My pleasure!
Pavlin, you have resume all the most important best things about your country, just perfect.
Take care and stay well.
Thanks, you too!
Thanks for this. I’ll work my way through the videos. Especially interested in learning about Sofia, fwiw, I’m from NYC and very interested in cities. Love your videos!
Thanks for taking the time!
Varna also.
Thanks for taking the time!
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Planning an adventure from Canada to Greece in the future.. I'll stop in Bulgaria to say hello and grab a drink with you.. thank you for your videos very helpful 👍🏻
Any time!
I am planning to go on my first bigger cross-country trip from Germany to Greece in the next years. Your video convinced me to go through Bulgaria, and take the scenic route :)
Have fun!
Евалата! Продължавай да пътуваш и показваш красотата на България =]
Определено видях нови места, които трябва да се посетят.. черния път над облаците, мале мале! 14:30
Моля!
Sharp topic. Bulgaria has been on my radar for a long time. Thanks for this very educational video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My pleasure!
Great review! Tnx! See you on the Bulgaria roads.
Have fun!
I am from Chile. And your roads are a bit like here. And I think your country is now safer than mine.
And being technically part of a group but not quite is the best way to be in a group, imo.
Thanks for taking the time!
I visited Bulgaria in 2019. Not any worse than Hungary and much better than Romania as per trafic discipline. People saw my foreign olates and were quite polite to let me in their lane etc etc
Glad to hear!
Bulgaria is really at the top of my list, this is the second video to convince me :D
Hoping to go to one of the enduro tours first of all, then hopefully I'll be making the long trip riding all the way from Norway in the not to distant future.
Good luck!
Good and valuable instructions. We will pass though Bulgaria on our way to Türkiye soon. My experience is that each country warns you about the next country to be aware. Common sense and a friendly attitude is your best protection. :)
True, but have in mind what I told you. Good luck on your journey!
You are an excellent travel guide Pavlin. Will visit when i can. Cheers.
You should!
You made a very good presentation of motorbike trip. It’s on my list now !
Good!
Great video Pavlin! 👍
I've been traveling around central Bulgaria for several days in 2019 and I can confirm everything you said. Escept for the road quality. I found them fairly good. Except for the road to the Buzludzha monument. That was kind of crappy towards the end. And there was quite a bit of garbage laying around on the car park there. 😟
In any case Bulgaria is a motorbike go-to country. Beatiful landscapes, affordable prices, good roads and most importantly great people! 🏍🏞🙏
Great to hear!
Great!
As a native Bulgarian and cyclist, looking forward to get a dual sport motorcycle some day, I enjoyed the video a lot.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Pavlin, hello from Poland. Thank you for this episode! This September I will be visiting Rumunia and Bulgaria on my BMW f650gs - your videos are full of informations and will be very helpful. If we happen to meet in your part of the country I invite you to a big beer or Polish vodka!
Have fun! No problem to meet you in Varna, just contact me a few days in advance.
If I had the ability to travel to Europe your country would be on my must see list. From watching your videos I have been blown away by how diverse and beautiful Bulgaria is. I'm hoping someday in the future things change in the world to where I can visit Bulgaria.
We hope the same!
Great! Good luck on your trip!
Im in Montana now on my big air cooled Harley and not for the first time. Yes some potholes but we have them home as well. Here everywhere you go there is mountains always lovely views friendly people and just fantastic fruits vegetables and of course the food sallad rakia...
I forgot to mention the food. Enjoy your trip!
Well done bro 👍😁Прекрасно видео. Благодаря 👏😁

Any time!
Brilliant video Pavlin.
I would love to visit your country
You should!
I love Bulgaria, i understand a lot of your language, my visits in your country were great experiences. A lot of your roads got improved. Greetings from a Romanian! Vie ste strahotni hora.

Great to hear!
What a fantastic little video, I’ve been to Bulgaria and I can vouch that’s it’s a beautiful country, it has some fantastic wildlife as well as scenery. I remember walking along a beach on the Black Sea and I was amazed about the number of beautiful black and brown snakes basking in the sunshine.
Thanks for sharing!
