Who could not like this? Jack Jones singing and the star power of Steve and Natalie. The story was so ahead of its time and meant a lot to those of us who were young in those days.
I fell in love with this movie and the song in 1964 . I worked at the theatre where this was playing and loved it ever since The people who have not seen this have no idea what they are missing
This beautiful woman was unique with those beautiful witchy eyes she fell in love and continues to fall in love despite the fact that she has been dead for almost 40 years, but for those of us who love her, she will continue to live in our minds and hearts. Natalie was like an eternally charming Angel.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
(Matt's mom) This was Natalie's favorite role. I love the scene when she is mad at dinner and goes to her room. Slamming the door is pushing the curtain on her room door. Many today are living more and more like her family in Little Italy...many others wish they had family like hers. Adorable movie.
These two together working so perfectly together, the timing, the movements, expressions and in this a little known film that gets such little attention, sad.
I love this movie so much! Natalie and Steve are wonderful in it. I was raised a Catholic so this was not on the list for 13 year-olds. I just recently purchased it on Amazon and have watched it at least once a week since the spring. They are so good together, it is a shame they did not make another movie with their chemistry. I wish it would be released on DVD because I would purchase it! I am a life long fan of Jack Jones so hearing him sing it after watching it, the words make sense! Play the song often on my iPod with other Jack Jones music. I LOVE this movie!
You've done it again, girl ~ I love this tribute piece to one of our fave movies and Natalie is perfect with Steve here... thank you, thank you!!!! Wonderful!!!!
Well its like this to me, a movie from what is beauiful,a kind of copy of Marty tells a similer story but this is perfect. Superb acting from two of the best, pulls on the heart strings in just the right way, this movie should be shown at every high school, never know it just might help..
The way things are going politically today, this story may not be so dated. This was a wonderful movie; Natalie should have won an Oscar for this and for Splendor In the Grass as well. The song and Jack Jones beautiful vocal was a perfect musical compliment to the film.
Trivia : When the Beatles first came to N.Y. in January 1964, they were leaving their hotel room to go to NBC for their first American show. At that moment the radio was playing "Love with Perfect Stanger" sung by Jack Jones and introduced by the radio announcer. Paul noticed the song as he left the hotel room but didn't seem to know it. **** This can be seen in the Beatles' 1964 documentary "First American Tour."
Natalie Wood was perfect. The prettiest, cutest, most beautiful lady EVER!! Love this woman!
What a song by Jack Jones !
Natalie Wood and Steve McQueen. I could watch them all day.
These two could act an entire film with their eyes.

Loved the movie and love the song. Two of our most memorable actors.
How effortless was this from Jack Jones ❤

Love this movie, this haunting song from the movie by Jack Jones, and Steve and Natalie are my favorites. Perfect Love Story!
She was never lovelier. The movie was great. The song is even greater.
Natalie Wood is incredible as always. Steve McQueen does a good job as a jerk who turns into a real person. Great movie. Thanks Muirmaiden!

Natalie Wood. Is a goddess, She always knows who to win your love with those eye's and amazing smile! She is one we all miss a lot.

Thanks for this very enjoyable reminder of better times!
Wonderfully edited tribute, Colleen! A great song choice, too. Nice job! ♥
One of my favorite movies ! Starts sad dealing with an attempted abortion ends up a romantic comedy !

upon this song, this movie a religion could be formed. how do you create this art ? how often can it be done ? rpc
Eternal cuple❤
The $450.00 that Rocky (McQueen) and Angie (Wood) paid for the "doctor" is equal to $3,803.89 in 2020 dollars (adjusted for inflation).
Natalie Wood, greatly missed, here's a warning from history too, DONT GO BOATING WITH ROBERT WAGNER
Abortion ? Bother you ? Watc this film. nothing as profound as this ever changes. It's a woman right to choose. Removing the choice is wrong.
h
It's never been a choice, it's a life.
