    Is the 3M permanent? It seemed easy for you to pull up the heart on the first design.

      It is permanent. It's such a small piece though, so it was possible to move it. I don't think prying up pieces much larger than that, though, would work easily.

    Thank you! Just starting to make. Where do you buy your 3M tape. I have honestly never used it and always used glue but did bigger projects. I see some on amazon, but do not know which one to get. Hoping to get it local but don't see that either.

    Does the ink from the paint pen come off the engravings at all over time?

      I haven't noticed it on mine! It might if you wash it or scrub it a bunch.

      I’m awaiting my Omtech laser to be delivered & want to make these. Where do you’re recommend buying acrylic? Do you also buy bigger sheets & cut down to fit your laser area? Mine is only 8x12. If so, what do you cut the acrylic down with? Thank you for your help!!!

      @@tonyamoore4308 I buy a lot from Etsy, Custom Made Better acrylic, and Houston Acrylic. I don't generally cut down my sizes because I don't need to-my bed fits their larger sheets. But you can find smaller sheets-I have some that is probably 6x9 from Etsy!

    What type of masking do you use? And do you know the names of the colors you used? I see the link for the acrylic but not the names of the colors.

      I use this type of masking: amzn.to/49LMFTg and honestly not sure about the colors! I ordered them SO long ago!

    what sizes are the name plates of the 40oz and 30oz ?

    • @HeyLetsMakeStuff
      @HeyLetsMakeStuff  2 месяца назад

      It varies on your tumbler. Different brands are slightly different and even different versions of the Stanley. I'd measure your lid or download the SVG files to see if they'll fit. The sizes are on the file.

    Your forge doesn’t have to be turned on to design on their platform. I use it not even while in the same city or state!!

      I guess that's true! I like to design when I can actually see the material in the bed of my Glowforge. I don't really do much "design" in there anyway-mostly just uploading and printing :)
