You can definitely do it another way! I just really liked the gradient for this and wanted to share how to customize it yourself to get exactly what you want!
Thank you for the video and the template. I am having a issue when I am downloading and then printing to my sawgrass that the templates are smaller than what was in canva... What I am doing wrong ? TIA
@@AngieHolden Thanks so much for your help. I love your videos, they are very well done & informative. You are always my first go to when I need help with a project or review on equipment & supplies. 😊
Hi Angie! Great tutorial! I need help though. Struggling with size. I’ve downloaded the template but when I print to sublimation paper in Word, it isn’t holding the size of each one on Canvas. When I look at it in Canvas it’s about 3.5 x 1.5 (closed to) but it makes it smaller in a word every time. I can’t change just the size of the “label”. Well. Not that I know of anyway. Does that make sense? And when I pull it into Cricut it tells me it’s too large to print (the white background is too big). What am I doing wrong?
@@AngieHolden I tried that but removing the background also removed the name since the letters were white. I finally got them to print by printing them from word and making the image as big as I could and the labels just barely fit on the blanks. Whew! And this was after fighting with my printer ink, but your video about changing settings saved my sanity. :)
Angie, help! I am so frustrated. When I place the band on the stanley (prior to sublimation), it snaps in nicely. But after I sublimate, the band shrinks in length by 1/16" so it no longer snaps in and is loose. I have wasted 10 bands. People are telling me the temp may be too hot so I decreased the temp from your suggestion. By the last try, I was down to 300 degrees and it's still shrinking. Why??
@@AngieHolden It snaps in prior to sublimation. It does bow a little but I put it under a heavy piece of marble while it's still hot to flatten it back out. It's completely flat but about 1/16" shorter. I don't know why they are shrinking? I've wasted about 15 of them now trying different things - all end up short
Thanks so much for your video! I tried this out today and had a question. I ordered the blanks in your link, and the white sublimation comes off easily (which obviously takes the design off too). Did you run into this? How did you fix it? I’d hate to sell a product that breaks/messes up so easily 😕
I do believe this may be my first sublimation project. Thank you. But now I must learn Canva

Glad it helped!
I enjoy your videos. You include so much useful information and tips, thank you!
Thank you Angie great video as always! Liz 😊🥰
Thanks!

Probably the settings in Sawgrass that are resizing. Try telling it to print to size or something similar.
So cool thank you Angie
Enjoy!
Thank you soooooo much!!!!!!❤
Happy to help!
Thanks Angie for another detailed tutorial 😊
You’re welcome 😊
Hi. Do you have a video of sublimating the round lid toppers?
Same process would apply. I did the ones I liked and were available at the time!
what was the adhesive spray u mentioned in place of using tape
Try this: ruclips.net/video/p8eupQ7jyTY/видео.html
Is there a certain size of the heat press that we should use ? Or will a mini one work ?
I would use a heat press larger than the name plate.
Do you think you can use an Iron for this? Like a Clothing iron. I'm starting a small business and I don't want to purchase that heater just yet.
You should be able to. Turn iron all the way up and place these where they are no steam holes. You may have to play with time.
Do not have a sublimation printer (yet🤔) can I cut the design using infusible ink sheets & would I need to mirror image?
Yep! No mirroring since it is on back showing through to front.

Is there a certin section that the printer should be on for acrylic?
Like settings? Depends on your printer really!

You can alter them in Canva by clicking and resizing. In Cricut, I would upload and remove background to get it to print.

Do you have sublimation acrylic settings listed somewhere
Try this: ruclips.net/video/toZwLlrNvcE/видео.html
Do you know the brand of the acrylic that is white on one side and clear on the other? I have a Glowforge and would love to purchase sheets of it!.
I am not sure as this is sublimation acrylic.
Do you know if the medium size you use fits a 30oz Stanley?
Sorry I am not sure!

Hmmmm...Mine still snapped in so I wonder if they changed the size? Is it maybe bowing slightly? Try putting it under something heavy to cool?

These are all for a 40oz? Out of the 3 sizes are any for a 30oz?
I think the smaller would work on a 30 oz. The others are for a 40 oz.
Can you use infusible ink with these?
Yep!

I did NOT run in to that! I would return them to PYD Life!
Thank you! I thought I was going crazy… I’ll contact them.

My canva template didn’t come through email. Any ideas how I can get it? Thank you so much for your useful videos I love them!!
Just kidding it just came through haha !
Oh good!
Where do you get the blank plates from?
I linked to where I purchased in the description below this video.
What size cup does this name plate fit?
40 oz stanley tumbler is what I am showing them on.
@@AngieHolden thank you!
Can you send me the link for the sublimation blank tags
Link is in the description below this video!
I tried the spray and I like tape better
I do too actually!
I brought that large one from the same brand but it doesn't snap in place like yours
Probably a difference in your tumbler. You have to watch which of the versions you purchase.
@@AngieHolden I'm not sure why I have the 40oz h2 one
You might have a og stanley, it wont fit on the og ones
How do you get a white name ? I thought you can’t print white?
it just leaves the color out. blank paper
It just doesn't print in that area. I show how to design it in the video.
I could not download the template can you email it to me?

So call me stupid, but you didnt say what you printed it on. Is that paper or what? Im a beginner.
It is sublimation ink printed on sublimation paper from a sublimation printer.
