Story:
As darkness is covering the multiverse, far away in the galaxy of the wild stallion, a spark of hope is born. Guided by the light of Mother Mustang, the Space Stallions must defeat the Demon of darkness, Destructo.

This is like a combination of all the cartoons I loved as a kid. He-man, Silver Hawks, and ThunderCats all rolled into one. So awesome!

I love how Destructo (the villain) is a very strong refference to The Dark Crystal.

I used to think this was a parody of 80's saturday morning cartoons that overexaggerated their tropes to ridiculous levels.
...and then I found out about Silverhawks :P
Definitely has its eighties aspects, although inevitably the sharp computer animation and gradients make it look nineties or later. But I love the eighties attributes like the colour palette, the grid backgrounds, the keytar, the robot horses, and the synth music :-)

OMG i've been trying to find this video for months! i have over 3k liked videos so finding this one was not so easy. Searched everything i could remember about it. Space unicorn, Space rainbow , Space rainbow unicorn Squad. I thought it was on Mondo media at first. So glad it didn't get deleted and i've found it again!

Too bad its never got a reboot, it was my favorite show back in the 80's
as a child of the 80s, I can say that you did a really good job of evoking those old cartoons. My one minor criticism would be that the cliche is to have five members of the team and not 4, but having only four did probably make it a lot easier on you in terms of workload. I love the keytar! look at all the crotches! really great work! Continued success!

This was the grad class of 2012's master project. As much as I'd LOVE for this to be a real thing, there's even less chance of this than another live-action chapter of Firefly...

@@mixiekins male unicorns are called stallions, and females mares, just like horses. As for Pegasus, that was the proper name of the male lead of a (flock?) of winged horses in Greek mythology, but once it became the collective noun, I'd say go with the stallion/mare terminology as well.
