This came from Denmark (as it was stated within the video's description), therefor it's rightful name would be 'cartoon' by my opinion. But a great work of that wath doesn't need words for understand it, which makes it's language at least global.

This is probably one of the most creative and absolutely amazing animation I have ever witnessed. Not only is this an innovative success, but it's smart, funny, and epic. I watch this once every week so that I can use it as a goal for animations I would like to create in the future. This summer I am taking an animation class in New York.

Are they that dense that they can't understand where the location is in the world without looking at the other side of the world (the missing part of the map)? Makes no sense, but oh well.

Seeing as it took the two heroes their whole lives to get there one can assume it was incredibly far away and it wasn't as simple as just knowing where the final destination was. Imagine if you lived in England in the 1500's and found half a map to a treasure that ended in what is now California. It would be much easier just to take the other half from whoever has it rather than just winging it.
