- A comparison 🔍 between an incorrect working wastegate and a brand new waste gate.
A common issue on the 1.6 THP /N14 /N18 engines: clearance on the wastegate causing lack of pressure build up or even complete lack of boost (hence: turbo doesn't work = loss of power and torque).

Problème courant sur les moteurs 1.6 THP /N14 /N18 : jeu sur le wastegate entraînant un manque de montée en pression voire une absence totale de boost (d'où : le turbo ne fonctionne pas = perte de puissance et de couple).

Can you put the link to buy please? My wastegate do a lot of noise and I want to change the turbine housing. You only change the turbine housing or turbine housing and turbo core?

I've got an 308 1.6 THP with P0299 error, when the problem is indeed with the wastegate, should you also smell exhaust smoke in the car itself while driving? Trying to found out if it is one issue I'm dealing with or multiple.. The car is detecting the P0299 error if I drive around 130km's an hour.
did you find the cause? I have the same. the actuator is stationary. when I move manually, it works ok for a while, then it blocks again

Hello again I replaced my n75 electro turbo valve and the error gone. This is the solution
@@GokhanKusoglu I can agree on this, but I had the same problem still… However, yesterday I’ve tightend the wastegate on the wastegate actuator rod and now it’s performing like it should! Also the release sound is back!

You can replace just the flap,no need to replace the complete housing
I think it's better to change the complete housing in terms of durability.
Replacing just the flap/housing is an option. Video of that will be added.
