El Macho is one of my favourite villains.
The poor kid that got his teddy bear popped was the same one that Gru made a balloon animal and popped it, at the start of the first movie.

If you haven’t already, you really need to see the Kung Fu Panda trilogy! It’s (as a certain character in the films would say...) pure awesomeness!

Fun fact I found out that the minion language is based on a multi language so it can be Spanish to French Or German. Online I found an actual site that was an actual minion book, Showing that it’s based on a multi language.

I liked both of them, but I enjoyed the first a bit more since it focused on Gru's relationship with his daughters which was too adorable for words

What's more interesting to me (than the correction I made on Patrick's comment) is that Jillian; who doesn't get slapped after wanting to set Gru up with someone, is actually voiced by one of the few women in this world who could do that in real life sand get away with it, which is Nasim Pedrad. (Been a fan of hers for a while; been a fan of the whole cast for a while).
The song the minions are singing in their ice cream lounge is 'Another Irish Drinking Song' by Da Vinci's Notebook.' It's really a clever, funny song in English.
I don't think Dr. Neferaio would have stayed if he told him about the AVL cuz he said that he wanted to do villain-like stuff like heists and stuff, like they used to. It's not until at the end when he changes heart because he cares about Gru and his family.
I liked both. Though the first one just for me a tad better. I enjoy the Minions, they are fun and goofy, and a few of them have their smart moments lol. 😁

I love both the movies, but I'm a little more a fan of the first simple cause I love villain stuff more. But Lucy was an amazing character and a perfect match to Gru.

Al Pacino was originally the voice of El Macho. But he backed out at the last minute. You can find a clip of his voice with a simple search.

this is probably me...but if I didn't see the first movie, I doubt I would have even realized that the girls were adopted...mainly because well Edith & Agnes have black & blonde hair, Gru originally had black hair and his father had blonde hair

The Anti-Villian Leauge is more like a James Bond/Mission Impossible-like organization/agency (most likely govermental).
Dr Nefario really did want to be a villain that is why he accepted the job for El Macho. Since Gru ended up opposing him then Nefario had to choose between a job he wanted and his fsmily
I have a theory that the reason the jelly tasted so bad is because the Minions forgot to take their shoes off while squashing the fruits 😂
