We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️ - Развлечения
I’ve been using Kewpie on your recommendation Sam for years. It’s about DAMN TIME they sponsored your channel. Well done.
Hands down THE BEST promo ever filmed!
We have been watching your videos for years. Last night's Kewpie Mayo video was the best you have ever produced. It was epic!
Sam def put me on to Kewpie Mayo YEARS AGO during his tv show days!
March Recipe: Mom's Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas
24 white corn tortilla shells (Mission is best)
4 cups Monterey Jack Cheese (shredded)
2 cups chopped onion
½ cup butter
½ cup flour
4 cups chicken broth (1box will be enough, if it is slightly short just add a tad of water to make 4 cups)
2 cartons (16 oz. per carton) sour cream (don’t use light or fat free
6-8 ounce can(s) green chilies (buy them whole, wash them, and chop them yourself)
8-10 skinless boneless chicken breasts (boiled until done with 2 Bay Leaves and a few whole peppercorns for flavor) after cooking, shred the chicken breasts or chop them lengthwise
In a large bowl or pan while chicken is cooking, soak the tortilla shells in the chicken broth to soften them.
Sauté the onions in small amount of oil until clear and tender, then put aside to cool.
Mix the shredded chicken, the sautéed onion and the shredded Jack cheese in a large bowl.
Stuff the tortillas with the mixture, roll, and place seam down in largest baking dish possible or use 2 dishes. (must be about 3 inches deep at least, like a lasagna pan).
In a large pan on top of the stove melt butter and carefully blend in the flour with a wire whip. Then begin slowly stirring and blending broth into that, making sure it stays smooth in consistency-add the 2 cartons of sour cream and the chilies. Add any remaining cheese, chicken, and onion mixture to this blend.
Cook on low heat until just boiling.
Ladle the mixture over the stuffed tortillas making sure you cover all the enchiladas, making them covered and creamy. Use all the mixture.
Top with some shredded cheddar and cover with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Uncover and brown for about 10 minutes before removing from the oven.
LOVE the Show!
Haha that was too good. Sam was channeling his inner Bob Newhart with the phone calls. Love it!!
Kudos for you for remembering Bob's classic early routine!
@@dphalanx7465 As an oldster myself I told my wife about "Bob the Cooking Guy" and she said "whaaaat???"
HOMESTEAD HALIBUT
My grandparents homesteaded up here in Alaska back in the day. Whenever they got some halibut my grandma always made it this way and I keep the tradition alive with my kids!
Halibut fillets cut into 1x2 in strips/chunks.
1 stick of butter melted and I like to add some smashed garlic and let it simmer
1 bag of lays potato chips smashed to smitherinees.
Lightly season the halibut with salt pepper and garlic
Toss in the melted garlic butter
Roll in potato chips
Spread evenly in a baking dish and then top with the remaining butter and smashed chips
Bake at 450 for 7-8 minutes or until just flaky
It’s life changing, you gotta try it!
Great episode. Thank you for showing the versatility of the best applications for Kewpie. The Branzino trick blew my mind!
I'm from the South and you're causing me to potentially lose my Good Ol' Southern Boy card. This is Duke's Mayo country, but you convinced me to try Kewpie mayo last year and I haven't looked back. I've also been telling people to try it, as well. I currently have half a jar of Duke's in my fridge, but I keep reaching for Kewpie. I had a BLT with Kewpie just last night.
Also, MARCH : BRUNSWICK STEW!!!!
I want to see your take on the Southern classic Brunswick Stew!! It's made with smoked pork, chicken, and beef brisket. There are several recipes, but JIC, I'll post one here. Just remember that the smoked meat you use can be either pulled or ground. I've had it both ways, and both are equally delicious, but in different ways.
Once you've smoked your meats, this is what you do...
Ingredients
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 medium yellow onion (diced)
1 red bell pepper (diced)
2 stalks celery (chopped)
2 cloves of garlic (finely minced)
1 pound grilled chicken thighs (diced)
½ pound smoked pulled pork
½ pound smoked brisked (chopped)
6 cups chicken stock
3 14.5 oz cans of diced tomatoes (with liquid)
1 ½ cups frozen corn
1 cup ketchup
½ cup of your favorite ketchup based BBQ sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Hot sauce to taste
Instructions
Sauté vegetables. In a large Dutch oven or stew pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the onions, bell pepper, and celery until soft (about 10 minutes). Stir in the garlic and cook another 3-4 minutes.
Add remaining vegetables. Slowly stir in the chicken thighs, brisket, and pulled pork. Pour in the chicken stock, canned tomatoes, corn, ketchup, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and hot sauce.
Simmer. Bring the stew to a boil and reduce the heat to a simmer. Place a lid on the pot and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes or until thickened to desired consistency.
NC here, and I would never have considered switching from Dukes, but bought a bottle of Kewpie today. Made fish for lunch with it today...delicious! Sam, what do you think of slathering it on a spatchcock chicken?
The wind combined with those hands behind Sam holding knives was really starting to give off a horror film vibes LOL
I have called people “sparky” forever! Whenever you say it my wife starts laughing from across the room!
This video feels like an infomercial for Kewpie 😂😂😂
Really looking forward to this episode. After you talked about japanese mayo, I ordered the Kewpie double-pack from Amazon and it came today! Really looking forward to trying some of these recipes out, especially the biscuits!
When I discovered your videos years ago, I tried the Kewpie, and it's been a staple in our household ever since. I tried it on a grilled cheese first, instead of butter, and it was amazing!
Kewpie is on my staples list. I literally finished one and opened a new one this morning. I use it with fish similarly to how you show with chicken. Coat in Kewpie, then light breading, then baked. Keeps flavor and moisture in. I'm trying the scrambled egg thing, because I make scrambled eggs very similarly to how you do it.
longest advertisement i’ve ever fully watched 😂
Sam !
First time commenting on one of your videos here , but I have literally watched you cook since I’ve been a little kid. I grew up in Chula Vista and I remember watching you on the local TV channel , 20 something years later now you’re one of my favorite RUclips channels and still influencing my love for the art of cooking , you’re definitely one of the reasons why I got into this very stressful but very rewarding industry. Thank you for everything you do !
Esque!! Been using your recipes for years and I am excited to try new things with my Kewpie mayo!!
MARCH: Please do a "Sam" take on a comfort dinner my grandma made growing up!
Cornflake Chicken with mashed potatoes and homemade egg noodles! I don't have a recipe but I believe it's just chicken dredged in egg and crush corn flake cereal! I miss my grandma and her cooking everyday!! Thanks Sam, Max, and Chance!!
I never liked or used mayo until Sam introduced me to Kewpie years ago on these videos. I can’t find it easy where I live. When I do find it, I buy several bottles at a time. My favorite is mixing it in when whipping up ad hoc sauces.
OMG YEEES! I love mayo and you just gave me soooo many ideas for new ways to use it! I also love Kewpie!
Some of these look great, others look spectacular. Love you guys thanks for all the great recipes.
I actually bought some tried it. Loved it so much. Bought some for my two work buddies my parents and my brother. They all loved it. Such a game changer
I put Kewpie in brownie mix and it makes it so moist and amazing!!
The episode i have been waiting for. i love Kewpie and always cook with it. very underutilized.. cheers
Oh my gosh!! That sounds amazing!
Love that you love Kewpie! Thanks for some great ideas !
Thank you for all the wonderful Kewpie recipes. So excited about the potato recipes 🥳🤤
Sam! Bravo on the phone conversation with Kewpie. It was Bob Newhart level. That's not easy to do and you nailed it. Keep up the good work, STCG team! Always entertaining and always great food, camera work, and editing. **P.S. This Maryland guy would love to see more crab! I am also a kewpie convert! I can't live without it!
Been using Kewpie for years since I found your channel. It is the bestest ever! So happy for your sponsorship! Sooooo exciting! Congrats!
Love the Kewpie. Thank you Sam.
Sam your most memorable video so far. Was in the restaurant biz for years...and never miss your videos. Thanks
I've never heard of that mayo before. I would love to try it! Thanks for all the great videos!
So cool! I'd been using Kewpie mayo for years before I started watching you, but I never thought to add it to my scrambled eggs and your other great uses for that great mayo.
Leveling up my cooking skills with every STCG video. Thank you, Sam!
Great video Sam. I’d never have thought of using Kewpie in the ways you did. Amazing. Well done. ❤️🖖
Kewpie is the only mayo I've had in my fridge for over a year now thanks to you, SAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing can't wait to try it
Awesome video! Love Kewpie Mayo and only found it because of your channel!
I’ve been wanting to try Kewpie and this is the motivation I needed!
Love this idea!!
I love it! Dinner and a Show with Sam and the boys! makes me laugh out loud!
Max picks the best plates to show off the food. Love the work!
This is not only my favorite Mayo, there are some awesome recipes on this video that I can convert to keto! So excited! Thanks, Sam!!
That puff pastry hack is brilliant! And that chicken quarter looks delicious.
Great recipes!
Too funny. What a wonderful advert for Kewpie. No wonder they love you guys.
WOW THANKS KEWPIE! I know everyone is excited to receive this magic ingredient we hear so much about as we are a Sam The Cooking Guy Nikiri knife! What a great year to be alive!
Definitely want to try all of these!
Love mayo!!! I want to try this Kewpie!!! ❤❤❤❤
I love kewpie! I always make sure to buy some whenever I go shopping.
Never heard of it before I started watching your videos! Now I have it in the fridge!!
Kewpie is GREAT for camping. I use it on everything. Travels well. Easy to dispense. I’m a tent camper. And I use it in my Mac and cheese, taters, eggs, chicken salad etc. just bought a torch like that. My hubby loves shrimp. So I’ll make him some!
The cinematographic excellence and creativity of this episode made me shed a tear.
Excited to try Kewpie. Thank you. Will start with biscuits.
I started using kewpie because of your vids Sam. Thanks!
@Te_legram_thecookingguy you scammers are pathetic. Fk Off
Between kewpie mayo and dukes mayo, I put it on pretty much everything. Fantastic stuff 😋
Just started buying Kewpie mayo...LOVE IT!
I love Kewpie. I've been using it exclusively since I found your channel two years ago! It's great for grilled cheese sandwhiches in place of butter. Go Sam!
I learned of Kewpie from watching your channel, couldn't get it anywhere but found it in the Asian grocery store locally finally which is great. They definitely seem to be more mainstream now, Walmart has it and yesterday at Costco I found and bought a larger bottle. Great Mayo, definitely my go to now.
“Rubber stunt fish” made me literally laugh out loud 😂😂👍
All of these look delicious
Love all the Korean inspired foods. Give us more!
Finally!!! I bought Kewpie because of you and I have never looked back. Absolutely love it. I even asked my Publix to carry it and they said they would but it's been a year and they still haven't. I just use Amazon. Can't wait to try these. Thanks for the best cooking channel on the web. MACA!!!
I am going to try them all! Kewpie is the BEST!
Absolutely Delicious!
I love it on just about everything!!
Sam one of my family's go-to recipes and probably my most shared recipes is the 10 min tortilla soup recipe. We saw you cook this on TV years ago and I share it at least once a week. Could you do it again so the rest of the You tube world can enjoy a fantastic family meal that takes minutes to make!!
Looks good ❤
Sam saying "soarry soarry soarry" to the fish so many times like he wanted to remind himself (and everyone else) that he's originally Canadian..... 😄😄
Wow, a phone call & helicopter 🚁!?! What logistics went into this production! 😜 Love it, great uses for Kewpie 👍
I had no idea of all the uses for Kewpie! I will have to get some.
Love Kewpie mayo Sam! Would have never tried it if you didn't mention it! I only get the one in the original packaging! Looking forward to trying all of these recipes!
I'm very fortunate our local Walmart actually sells kewpie mayo. Absolutely awesome stuff! I've actually tried the eggs with the kewpie mayo. I can definitely attest to this!
Best biscuits...white lily self rising flour, buttermilk, lard or butter...keep the Kewpie away from my biscuits
The Kewpie episode was awesome. Love your show. Even Max!
The kewpie mayo giveaway is a great thing for those that can't find it in their area especially since now most major grocery stores carry the exact same 500g bottle that you use and can also be purchased through Amazon. Great recipe ideas though
Love kewpie, been using it for years.
Love that stuff. KEWPIE is my go to mayo.
And I thought you were obsessed with Kewpie when I first started watching 3 years ago...now I can see the real level of you madly genius obsession. These are some great ideas and I'm going to make the baby potatoes and the almond fish for sure.
Kewpie is great stuff, and mayo on fish is a great way to get a perfect crush. I have used it on baked Lake Trout, spread the mayo on top of the fish, and then add your herbs. It comes out the over perfect every time.
Making food with Kewpie tomorrow due to this video! Thank you for the Chosen Avocado oil a couple of years ago!
Good recipe!
I’m going to use a few of these! My favorite treat when I get sushi is a shrimp nigiri that has Japanese mayo on it and then is torched. They would make yummy appetizers!
I made the kewpie shrimp ! OMG so simple and so delicious!
Oh Sam the scrambled eggs look Devine! I’m trying those in the morning.
This infomercial/promotional reminds me of the chosen foods avocado oil one years ago on here that I so happen to get a bottle from! Love your stuff Sam and Kewpie!
This is amazing, my boyfriend recently found some great Japanese mayo and we’re loving it!
Another great video
Can't wait to try some of these with the Kewpie!
Beautiful work fellas! I have Kewpie on hand all the time but had no idea how much you can do with it. I've been watching your channel for years and this is up there with the most useful videos ever. PS, loved the re-interpretation of the Choice Foods avo oil stunt lol.
You guys are a riot. Love the scrambled egg Kewpie hack.
I have never tried Kewpie but interested in trying it. I am not a big Mayo fan but use it when needed.
I've heard the tales of Kewpie Mayo spun for years and never had a particular urge to try it, but now I MUST try all these recipes!
I love Kewpie, I use it all the time!!
I have never liked mayo, however I ordered Kewpie because of your praise. Well, I like it. Pleasantly surprised!
I just purchased my first Kewpie, wasn't sure where to begin. Thanks for the ideas! I have used Blue Plate (iykyk) for years in instant mashed potatoes, they are so flavorful and everybody wants seconds!
I use Kewpie all the time now, thank you to you, Sam, The Cooking Guy!!!
The production and special effects are like 1000% from that first ever episode I ever watched! Keep that ish up!
It is so good! Kewpie is all I buy now!
Sam Zien and this channel is the reason why I started using Kewpie Japanese Mayonnaise in my cooking, and I haven't looked back since ;)
