Oh, that’s one awesome mechanic 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 thumbs up brother. We need more people like that MAN in this word. Keep up the awesome work he will be in business for a LONG TIME treating his customers like that. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Sandy, Mike is an exceptional artist and an amazing technician with the Dyno. His devotion to the craft can’t be beat and you are a lucky 🍀 man. Good luck with the new Bassani pipe and hope to see you and Big John in Sturgis brother. 🤜🏼 Stay safe out there. ✈️
Its great to have a technition like Mike on your side 👍 ... As long as you're happy and the mods are getting the changes you want, that's all that matters.
106 and 123 that's terrible. My 2023 lowrider st with 3030 cam has 122 and 133 with a shorty 2-1 gallop sleipnir exhaust 55mm aluminum intake a d 5.5 injectors sandy sandy sandy. You're barely over stock numbers with all the work you've done brother. I guess as long as you're happy that's all that matters.
@@AlenGarner I found out. He has a Star 30 30 in it. Wth. Perhaps the Dyno is reading low or the tune is a bit off someplace? Crazy considering he spent around 4k in parts to do the cam.
When I was a kid riding minibikes. We would always talk about hitting the power band, never really knowing what that totally meant. Just knew the bike would get up and go when you twisted the throttle. 😂
Great video Sandy! Even though I don't ride HD motorcycles, your videos along with Matt Laidlaw's , BlockHead's, Cycle Fanatics ,Her Two Wheels , Traveling Tall ....etc are very inspirational and fun to watch. Thanks for posting and Ride-On !
Congratulations, you have shown the difference between a short exhaust pipe and a longer pipe. Also don't worry about what numbers other people get, as EVERY dyno reads differently. Plus the operator can play with the numbers with gearing and even air pressure. Your not racing, just enjoy the ride
Great Job and thank you both for the info. Very helpful. I am in my early 60's and many of my buddies that have bikes are into hp and torque. Where as for me - I don't plan to race, I just want the sound of the pipe😎. I've bee researching for 1 year as I am planning on buying my first Harley and leaning towards the Lowrider ST. But would like larger bags as well. Thanks.
Next time, turn the music off when anyone is taking and Explaining. He was explaining the graph at the Dyno, and the stupid boogie music made it hard to listen 😵💫😵💫
He said you had moisture in the catch can. I saw a video where a guy took his off because rain or when he washed the bike the catch can filled up and started spraying crap over the engine. Of course, paying attention to the catch can after rain or wash might prevent that. I am about to find out I am installing the D K Customs catch can on my bike.
Great upload, my thoughts on you losing horsepower would be more from the ambient temps as well as humidity unless the Dyno took the muggy air into account. Looking forward to seeing the new bags . Again, great mechanic.
@Holyshift Sandy - What gear are those dyno results from? Mine was done in 4th gear and I got essentially the same numbers, Star 30 30 and S&S 2-1 Superstreet, all else stock except Arlen Ness Big Sucker air filter for my Harley ventilator. Bike runs great but doesn't have no where near the numbers everyone else is posting
range of RPM that the motorcycles engine is operating at peak performance. This is usually the point where the climbing horsepower meets the peak torque. Power is the product of torque multiplied by speed of rotation (force x speed), so power is produced in the upper speed range where there’s both high torque and high RPM.
@BeardedBavarianBiker. it's got a piston ring problem. My 150 cubic inch M8 with total seals rings have no blow buy what so ever. And still running the stock Trans vent cover. And no oil in the intake also. He must have a bad ring or bad bore. Or over filled engine oul
Your boy CycleFanatix came across the same thing about the O-ring leak on his son’s bike before it became an issue about a month ago. See if you guys make a video for him helping you fix this on your bike now haha.
why would anybody give up power just for the look of a exhaust sytem ,especially for only 6 hp . you would be better off with the stock system .with the narrow ban O2 censers . you spent 1800.00 to back up .
It does sound lower than other videos I see online , I don’t know what other people do to their Dyno results to make them look better . These are pure pure numbers no playing around to show higher results. Remember still stock throttle body and injectors…. So who knows.
@@HOLYSHIFT yeah I know Dynos can vary from 5-10 HP, is the tuning being performed with the dynojet? If so that can be what’s limiting power potential you’d get more out of it with a Thundermax tuner with the wide band 02 sensors
Now you need to get some Advanblack or Nast Hog chopped bags to see if it will work with that exhaust so O ca. make a decision and get them as well. This Harley will be the cause of a future divorce

Good advertisement for Sawicki performance exhaust! Those guys know how to build power!
I love it that Mike continues to think about his customers bike after it leaves the shop.
Constantly improving and keeping up with the latest.
Couldn't agree more!
Pipe looks and sounds great buddy 👊

Right his numbers seem low, I’ve seen some bikes with stock everything and just a pipe make those numbers, wonder why 🤔
Was that with a cam? I wasnt aware he ad ever done a cam yet. If stock cam, the numbers are on track with that pipe.

Sandy at 10:45 take a look at your kick stand ....it floating around.
Got a new spring ! Good call 👍🏻

Good way to look at it Sandy, great mechanic to research after you left to find out why, going one step further "hard to find these days"

Bassani makes good stuff! Really like their 2into1 exhaust. Just installed one on my Road glide yesterday

Thanks 🙏🏻

I have 2 into 1 bassani on my 2012 RG Custom. Sounds amazing!!
Awsome video👍👍👍👍👍
Great insight 🤙🏼
How was riding the bike in heavy rain?
👍
I like the deeper tone of the new pipe. Which one would you say is louder overall?
Same I think
Did you delete the cats?
sounds nice indeed..........
Had the same thing happened to mine, stupid tower gasket
did you ask him about your clutch, that clutch should not be going with as little miles as you have on it
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 5th gear . I don’t trust other peoples results and what tweaking their tuners are doing to the machine to show higher results.
@@HOLYSHIFT I believe most do their runs in 6th gear, higher gears show higher #’s.

How an we buy your exhaust bro
Why so much blow buy that is way to much. Is your engine oul overfilled

Hot pipe, probably if longer would have given you the same results as the previous pipe 🤷🏻♂️
I agree - longer pipe would improve results

I think it's time for a 128 kit. Maybe with some head work.... Just saying.
You’re wrong! It’s time for 131 ! 😂
Wow, you literally took that sick pipe off your bike for that thing.
That stupid little gasket holy shifted on me too. 😅
Smash the like button!!
You’ve got a good mechanic there but those dyno pulls are horrible on the motor
Hmm not bad but not the greatest. But you’re happy that’s all that matters.
If not take to All American Cycles in Florida‼️🤣
he has an amsoil sticker on the wall...why did he use junk oil ....thats your problem
106 hp bad number for a stage 2….It’s not normal
Who knows how the Dyno is dialed?😄 all I can say it feels really fast when riding
Yea that’s not normal at all
Power band is the rpm range where your bike is making peak power. Jesus how can your dyno tuner not be able to explain that to you.
With all the work done those are low numbers something doesn’t seem right
It does sound lower than other videos I see online , I don’t know what other people do to their Dyno results to make them look better . These are pure pure numbers no playing around to show higher results. Remember still stock throttle body and injectors…. So who knows.

Enough with the goofy music! Your videos are awesome but the music is pretty lame especially when someone is talking.

This guy kinda sucks at tuning. Your bike was under performed since day one of putting that 30-30 in
