Tremendous help. I was gifted a 1978 cutlass with Chevy 305 at 23 years old so I’m kinda clue less but this helps a lot seeing everything.

Great Video- I have a 72 blazer but I bought a Jegs crate motor that I believe they used in a square body.
Relocated my alternator bracket to the passenger side.
I believe this is how my set I will look.

that power steering bracket comes off a 1972 chevy suburban 4X4, i just took mine off today, just so you know,

when i add something that needs a new belt that i didnt have before and no clue what belt i need,i get a 3/8 piece of nylon rope,wrap it around the pullies and set it where the belt will fit,cut the rope and melt the ends together making a mockup of a belt,take it to the parts store and put it in their belt gauge,measure and da da get the right belt to fit,i figured that out one day after 3 trips back and forth trying different belts that were to short or to long

If you cut the power steering bracket you gonna make that soft at the moment that you have to steer the wheel, the pump is going to bend badly, the serpentine belt going to flay out. you gonna end in some issues with, that bolt that go to the header is to make a stable brake

Great video!! I’m trying to put power steering on my 72 c10 as we speak with a small block 400 in it.Being that it didn’t come with power steering… I didn’t know how to go by putting it on and your video really helped. Do you have any brackets for sale like that? I would like to buy one if you do.

Thank you so much for this video. I have a 75 caprice with a 400 small block I took off the AC I couldn't find how to do the belts. I started with three belt now just two belts. What brand of belts would you recommend ?

I''m adding AC to and 86' that's had a 396 swapped in by the previous owner and I'm doing a similar PS pump set up. Were you able to use the stock hose for the pressure side of the PS Pump? The one I have on there now is too short. Do you know what hose you sourced? Any help in finding a suitable solution wold be awesome!

I can't get my c10 powersteering lines to work when using this bracket because it sits so low.
HAVE TO USED THE HIGH PRESSURE LINE THAT WAS ON IT AND I MADE THE RETURN

it was on a motor I traded for, Came out of a 79 model 3/4 ton van.

What alternator is that?
I think he said it's the 60amp.
It's is just a stock 60 amp. I have had for a while on the shelf. Did take it down and had it tested before putting it on. Have a great weekend

That would be great I have 1971 c10 but my cast number in the engine says it’s 86 and up and that’s where I get confused I don’t know which year I need to my belts for
